    Would you consider the Huawei GT 4 Steel Edition?
    Let me know if you'd consider swapping out Apple and Pixel Watch Smarts for more classical styling and fantastic battery life.

    People are very hyped these days. Why would you want to listen to music, chat, or call with a watch? Is that cool? Do I belong? When I receive a message or a call, I look at the watch and then at my phone if I have time. This watch is the best on the market, even though it has no Google, these watches simply look beautiful.

    I just switched from Samsung Watch 5 to Huawei Watch GT 4, I moved because the battery life is decreasing day by day, from what used to be 2 days to just 1 day and 2 hours. Moreover, the sports feature on Samsung Watch is also not good. I am satisfied with this Huawei Watch GT 4.

    Just upgraded to the GT 4 and I love it. Had the original GT which didn't have a scratch on it after being on the wrist for 4 plus years of a mechanic. Fantastic tech. Shame about not being able to use it for contact less payments though.

    Love seeing the variety of content on the channel these days! I've got a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and the battery has degraded over time, so I definitely want my next watch to have long life battery. The Huawei watch looks really nice - makes it feel like it's not an obvious health-tracking device.

    How is the brightness level in direct sunlight, of the GT4 watch? I was actually thinking of buying the new samsung watch 7, but since i also preffer good battery life over performance, i am probably gonna buy the huawei. I am just not sure how big is the performance difference is between the watch 7 and GT4.

    My use case is fitness tracking , with heart rate accuracy my chief criteria. Smartwatch functionality is not a big deal for me, as I soon found out when owning my very first smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2. After the novelty wore off from downloading countless apps to my S2, I found myself not using 99% of them ! Messing around with apps is what I have a lovely phone or tablet for, where you got a proper screen, rather than squinting at your wrist. This is why I’ve owned 3 Fitbits (which each only lasted 1 year - planned obsolescence by Fitbit to increase sales no doubt), 2 Garmins, and now 2 Huawei watches. I previously was using my GT Runner but fell in love with my stainless steel / brown leather GT4, which is a perfect companion for gyming, and I swap out watch bands according to the occasion. When dressed up with a stainless steel band, it looks the business ! Apart from the looks, beautiful screen and countless free watch faces, I have to say Huawei is doing some serious magic with their battery life. I’m getting 10 days, including gym workouts.

    Ive been looking at smart watches for months! i currently have the first gen galaxy watch, and if i am careful i can get 3 days out of a charge, but really want one with a good battery, i was stuck between this, the Garmin Venu 2 plus, Amazfit GTR 4 and the Ticwatch Pro 5 (but the lack of updates put me off this one), but i think the Huawei has pipped the others to the post.

    Does it talk to your smart phone at all? Will it show calendar appointments, text messages, etc? Could you feasibly control your music player with it? Or are there lots of problems with that stuff because it's not on android? Is it more of a standalone thing?

    • @tech_edit
      @tech_edit  Год назад +3

      Yes, you can receive notifications and see calendar appointments through the calendar app. It also controls your music player. I’ve been using it with the Xperia 5 V and Galaxy Z Flip 5 with no issues.

      That's fair. I didn't find it too cumbersome and only had to do it every couple of weeks. Or you could the charger that it ships with. No removal needed. But I appreciate your point if you want one wireless charger to rule them all.

    The motion sensor is quite imprecise. I stand still and move my hand, he takes steps. I scratch my head, he counts the steps, I wash my hands, he counts the steps... There were no such problems on the gt3 model that I had before this one.

    Can I ask, did you notice at any time that the heart rate reading suddenly dropped very low, for example 37bpm?

    • @tech_edit
      @tech_edit  Год назад +1

      Hi Mick. No, so far the heart rate sensor has been very accurate compared to my Apple, Garmin, and Samsung watches. The sleep tracking scores are a little generous, but then again, a number is relatively subjective. Almost a full week in and the watch looks set to be my main device until Huawei asks for it back. - Basil

      Yes, it's better GT3 PRO, because GT 4 has new sensor andupgradede software HarmonyOS 4. GT4 can track ECG automatically with Arrhythmia detection, user no need scan ECG manually again.

    • @NaranekKosh
      @NaranekKosh 11 месяцев назад

      @@sahabatyorofun6552 The gt 4 can't do ECG at all because it doesn't have the hardware. The GT3 Pro can do more in this and the vascular wall test.
