@@billyjohnson9166 Really. When they went outside he had Dexter in front of him and Justin right behind him. They went outside to fight and it was two on 1. Someone tried to stop Justin inside the Coffee shop by grabbing his shirt but he pulled away. The words were Let's take it outside and it was 2 on 1 walking out that door. Moreover the video shows Justin turned around in his seat instigating the altercation. All I know is if I have one person who wants to fight in front of me and another right behind me I am not going to let either of them hit me first. Maybe you think it's okay to call one man's wife a 304 and her sister engaged to another foreign man a 304. Then refers to the parents as selling their daughters in return for major improvements to their house. This was the chismis spread by Justin and Dexter. Personally I would have just told the father and men in the two daughter's Barangay.

Our family's primary purpose for coming to the Philippines is mostly economical. We've never lived affluently, nor do we want to. I think things are going to get even more expensive as time goes on, so we just feel that we should live as frugally as possible and the Philippines seems like a very good place to try and do that. Secondly, our family embraces a peaceful life, and we'd like to continue that as well as make good close friends, lifelong friends, and to be left alone to live that peaceful life among friends for the rest of our lives.

Great video Mike, there’s also a relatively new name: WHORAGUETE. This had to do with the new batch of Filipina RUclipsrs behaving badly. We have the wife of a well know expat youtuber who mainly does bikini videos in a very despicable way. They could be done with certain class, but this lady doesn’t have any shame showcasing young, teenager Filipinas shaking their “assets”. Shame.
Then we have another young Filipina, single mother, who I believe is in the process of getting her K1 visa to USA, but is resourcing to 2 and 3 live streams daily, showing lots of skin or doing work outs wearing almost nothing or very short garments.
Some female locals are certainly contributing towards Dumaguete notoriety. Best to you and Janet.

So all of a sudden Sleepy Quiet Duma completely won me over and I'm now moving there in July and while my best friend from the States lives in Cebu, and other friends are up there or elsewhere that is the Life they want. I just want to keep my head down, and be a piece of sand on the beach and just be kind and good to those around me and those i encounter as I AM a reflection of how i treat those I see and meet everyday and just want to greet them with a smile and leave them with a positive note. Your a Good Man Mike and Jan is a doll who has truly blossomed and I avoid the whole Mark & Dexter incident and those gossiping as it so high school and beneath 99% of expats. To make matters worse, drama garners views and views=money on YT. So there is monetary incentive to keep stirring the pot. There are underfunded expats who make their living by being a provocateur. Watched in a few day some uploads from this channel and feeling thankful for the information you give me… Greetzzz from the Netherlands... End of this year, I am on my way to finding the love of my life. I already know the LUZON area is the place to be for me because of the lower temperatures...

@@mikesphilippineretirement I am watching uploads about Baguio. It seems like an interesting area. Seeking places where the temperatures are a little lower than constant 30+/86+ I will do my research. Planning to come for a long time. I can retire at the age of 56 and take lots of advice from your uploads..Thx 4 that...

Very well said, too much ground to add to everything but I'll speak to this point you made: living within your means is honourable. If you know what your limits are no matter how much or little that is and you're responsible enough to colour inside the lines, I respect that.
Live your best life and if you're happy with it and you're not hurting anyone else for it - what's the issue?

Shared values and respect regardless of where one comes from, to me seems to be the ticket. Glad you, Janet and son are living a great life - thanks for the vlog! EW :)

HI, I love watching your videos, no drama! It is difficult to ignore the mouthy youtube idiots now. Strange how they leave there country because of drama, but yet create it in Philippines !!! I would start to report them to the authorities. Its just a matter of time there is an physical assault. What is lacking here is discipline & respect. They say respect your elders!! Well with me its 3 strikes & you will find out!. I am looking at retiring in the Philippines. I have visited Philippines twice, various cities & not seen any of youtubers!!! I wont be moving to an area full of these clowns!. Life is to short. Anyhow keep up with the great videos (You are 70yrs old!!! you do look healthy & in good shape - stay away from this nonsense! Best wishes to you, Janet & family.
