Big thanks for this Video! Like your deep Dive very much. Are you planning to do such Vids also on the old factions? As a newbie in Warmaster i would highly appreciate that!
Knowing Cathay only a BIT from TWWIII, I'm assuming that this Cathay is based on the old lore? I was bummed to not see Jade warriors, or the terracotta Sentinel, or the Sky Lanterns, but was surprised by the terracotta warriors. If not that, are they just planning on expanding the rules later?
generally all factions are based on old lore and army list Thats why tomb kings for example are mostly based on the general undead army becore vampire counts and proper tomb kings where a thing
Not from my experience; definitely you have the numbers, just have to be very selective with your hammer units. It’s a subtle army rather than one with obvious strengths.
@@iainmstanding The author was trying to replicate the feel of a Song Chinese army and how they fought, and bring in a little of the Monkey stories when I first wrote it up for the original Warmaster.
Ahhh perfekt! Thx for making such great videos :) Is there any plan to bring the "terracotta sentinel" into the warmaster universe? I quite liked them in Warhammer:Total War!
@@iainmstandingsentinel with a taste for flesh! I suppose in friendly games you could sub our the smaller warriors and use the sphinx rules? Kind of similar in terms on constructs

Lovely breakdown of the faction as normal.
Thank you so much for this new video! I really like the way you explain. Truly an excellent guide!
Glad it was helpful!
Was just looking into them! Thanks Iain!
Any time!
Was hoping for some sky junks! Great deepdive.
0:30 looks like Tsao Tsao or Cao Cao from the ROTK games.
Another great faction focus video, thank you! Any plans for doing a battle report to showcase newer armies such as Cathay and Nippon?
If I happen to play against these factions I will do a bat rep, however I don't own the armies myself.
Thanks very much! If you happen to come across them, I would be interested in seeing how these new factions are performing.
Please keep up the great work! More please! 👍😎
Will do!

@@blecao Ooooh got it. Thanks for responding. :) 👍
Long awaited! Looks sweet but not sure my wallet can survive yet another army.
Personally I’m disappointed with this army. Just comes across as a punch bag with a slow grind until it’s defeated. Hopefully I’m wrong.
The author was going for historical accuracy perhaps?
@@iainmstanding Forgot to mention that this is again another great video. Thank you.

No current plans as this list pre dates warhammer total war. But you can use the model to represent maneaters stands.
