I thought Kiros was an incredible villain, but I couldn't help but think the fact that the white lions were villains was Disney taking a jab at kimba the White Lion.
@@gojistopmotions1854you’re stating that the word “lord,” which is the English translation of “kiros,” is synonymous to the word from which the name Kimba was derived?
I felt the plot of the white lion being the villian was disney's dark humor of taking a jab at Kimba the White Lion. What's interesting is the Dominant White Lion's Speech " There can only be one Lion King". Makes you wonder if that statement was purposely incorporated to market Disney's rivalry with Japan. Fans know if there was crossover Kimba would slaughter Musfasa.
3:43. Not totally correct: leucism causes a form of gigantism in lions as collateral effect. I worked with lions in a private park and white ones are twice the size of a classical tawny lion (one of them was not casually named "Big").
I honestly think the only reason they made them white was so that kids could tell the villains apart from the good guys. My nieces already had a hard time telling who was who, so this was a smart choice.
You’re correct that there are more logical reasons than mere distinction, since as we know, white lions are considered “sacred” by the African population & culture. Therefore, it’s indeed logical to incorporate that into the tale and characterize Kiros as one with the “supremacist” mentality and look down on typical lions. I concur with you on that being among the ONLY reasons.
No, they're not related to Kimba. Disney wants to make Kiros and his pride more super strong and vengeance based on not only on real life white lions but a super pride of lions in Botswana due to their muscles.
Tinfoil hat theory; The white lions in Mufasa movie are supposed to be an allegory towards Kimba The White Lion series. It's Disney own way of giving a middle finger to said series as Mufasa prevail over the white lions and rule the Pride Lands.
Remember at the begining of the movie the lions were looking for a place where all animals live in harmony? In Kimba the White Lion the carnivores turn thenselves into vegitarians so they don't have to kill each other.
To be fair, the cartoony colorations in the animated movies aren't believable, and if they wanted the two prides to look different, beige and white aren't bad choice of color.
Well you forgot to mention one zoo in particular, belgrade zoo in serbia Belgrade zoo was and is historically known for its diverse animals and legends, like today alive and oldest american alligator and legends such as sami the escaping chimp and gabi the brave dog that fought escaping jaguar. The belgrade zoo was concidered as one of the most successful breeding places for white lions and they participated in many program for white lion conservations
@quiggc1 most breeding programs interbreed them to get the "white lion" it's a mutation some eyes are normal well others are pink/red I pretty much studied this all throughout the pandemic well class was online
The animated characters and the live-action characters are not the same characters. Even if they were biological brothers, everything else is still different. The animated canon makes it clear Mufasa is not the first king.
Disney lions killed the White lions and took there place in the movie. Just like Disney stole the lion king story from the movie Kimba the white lion. I still love the lion king franchise.
I just wanna say a couple facts one how can they actually get a real evil male that has something I have to do with the white lion and how can this white lion get revenge on Mufasa and what way I just need to know because I really wanna see the new lion Kingso bad I don’t know when if it’s coming to Disney+ cause if it is, I’m gonna be watching the whole thing, including the end credits

In the wild there are currently 4 white lions which live in Kruger national Park. Three of these lions live in timbavati.
I want kimba the white lion live action version
WA waaa, wa wa waaaa, wa wa waaaa, wa wa waaa wa. Waaa, wa wa waaaa, wa wa WAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Even the bad stuff in Kimba is enjoyable to make fun of.
"You have no right to call him names just because he was white!"🤣
2:53 FINALLY SOMEONE CALLED THESE LIONS LEUCISTIC AND NOT ALBINO FOR ONCE
3:43. Not totally correct: leucism causes a form of gigantism in lions as collateral effect. I worked with lions in a private park and white ones are twice the size of a classical tawny lion (one of them was not casually named "Big").
They can but it’s not a guarantee

I don’t think so
They're a clone from Kimba, a copy if you will

White Lions are Masai Lions and Transceel Lions.
I thought this was Disney's distorted way of blending "Kimba the white lion" into "the Lion King" universe.

Eshe's character is beautiful made out of all the lions created by Disney.

I loooove whiteee animals!!!!!!!!! and white Lions are ufffff!!!! Stunning!
The last white lions from Z&R were @ Toledo Zoo till they passed
In seek freedom and Roy’s white lion I could see those guys sweating.
This isn't canon to me because scar and mufasa are brothers in original movie.

If were a Director, I like to create a animation story of a white lion🦁🤍 or a white tiger🐯🤍.
We got lion king colonizers before gta6
What is so special about Gta 6
Bro literally just quoted the Wikipedia articles word for word 😅
Any ways, what about hedgehogss.
Why can't all the white lions be nice like Mufasa? Then they won't have to be exterminated.
