An embassy is the sovereign territory of the country. If anyone thinks for a moment that the US wouldn't retaliate against an attack on any of its embassies, they should let us know how the weather is on Earth 2.

The USA intelligence always has said Hamas acted independently and without approval from Iran.

Other country fires state of art rockets into hospitals full of children and wounded civilians with 5 minutes warning knowing they have no way to defend themselves.

Iran is not Iraq or Syria of 20+ years ago or even Afghanistan. They have a capable system of shooting down fighter jets and defending the country.
Most Middle Eastern countries have also closed their air space to Western forces and will not allow any attacks on Iran from their bases.
Iran was testing the Iron dome to see how it works.How many high tech missiles did Israel use to shoot down cheap drones? Many drones got through and damaged 8 IDF bases. I would like to see how the dome responds to hundreds of missiles sent by Hezbollah.
US or UK embassies would not be used as the military headquarters of terrorist campaigns. Iran does use their embassies as military headquarters, and those same embassies are valid military targets because of Iran's misuse of them. Note even Iran says there were NO civilian casualties in the embassy bombing, because every man present was an officer in the IRGC - an internationally designated terrorist organization under the direct orders of the Iranian government.

I do like your "Iran doesn't have to follow the rules but Israel does" attitude. No, it doesn't work like that. Iran was using the embassy to commit acts of war against Israel and seven of their people were treated like the enemy combatants they were. Iran made it Israel's business what was happening in that embassy and Israel was well within their rights to attack it as a military target. As for civilians, even the Iranians said they were all military.
Frankly, no one cares if you reject the classification of the IRGC as terrorists or not. The people who matter - the people those same IRGC people keep sending terrorists to attack - know they are terrorists and will continue treating them as such.
People never learn and this crap will never end.
But when Iranian tried to defend themselves from iran, where are this people who say iran has the right to defend itself?
