Bob Riedel Putting the Oscar talk aside, this is a interesting film with good performances by some of the greats. It might not be Scorsese’s best film, but it was an admirable effort. Everything is handled with care and Scorsese, like Eastwood, Scott and a few others, have been crafting films for so long that whatever they produce is always going to be at the very least well made. I think you’re being a bit harsh on this film, which was very clearly made with great affection and honesty, but to each his own.
It was worth the watch because of the Hoffa story line but it's not Great at all! The actors were simply too old for the characters and historical years its based in!
Bob Riedel buddy you are stupid 😂 I don’t think you understand how difficult it is to create a good movie like this, you wouldn’t even begin to have the intelligence, the cameras are so advanced you couldn’t even turn it on let alone make a full movie.
I like Romano. I think he's hilarious, but I loathed Everybody Loves Raymond - inoffensive, redundant, conformist, conservative. Obviously, it was a sitcom on network TV, so comedic direction was handcuffed. Fans didn't care because many of them prefer simpler narratives, in combination with basic, obvious humor. I liken it to a current sitcom that is wildly popular but remarkably bland, The Big Bang Theory. But this is just my humble opinion, and the majority of people likely disagree with my characterizations.
I agree Ray Ramano had one of the best sitcoms of all times. He's a legend in his own right. I my husband and I still watch all or the reruns of Ray Rpmano and were still cracking up. Very very funny show of all times. All I can say is great to be Italian!!!!
Sitting next to DeNiro and Pacino, Ray Romano looks like the waiter that is waiting for Sinatra to stop talking to clear the table. At 12:04 Pacino does something very Italian and BEAUTIFUL !!!! Romano made a joke and everyone laughed. Then Romano began to move his hands a lot (maybe because he got excited to get in a good joke or he became suddenly nervous). Pacino from his peripheral vision noticed the hands shaking and immediately put his hand on Romano's arm to comfort him. That's Italian. That's my people !!
Yes, that's what I thought he does look well for his age! My only downside is I have misophonia ( certain sounds make me a bit irate) and voices like his, are a real challenge to my hearing. But nonetheless, I think he's a talented actor.
Pesci, Pacino, and DeNiro were phenomenal! But Romano also performed that roll amazingly. Same for Keitel, even though his role was over in 5.5 seconds. Great movie!
It goes without saying, that DeNiro and Pacino are iconic actors - but Ray Romano has really come to be a fine actor in his own right. I look forward to seeing him work and grow even more. It's always a pleasure to watch him.

Two great actors and don't forget Joe Peci three great actors of ALL TIMES!!! Thank God they are all Italian, they make all of us Italians PROUD. All three are legions and there will never be another trio like them for a life time. God bless all three of you and your children. WE LOVE YOU FOR EVER
Yes pescihes great.
I was so lucky to see this movie at the Belasco theatre & am grateful to the people who set up the showing of such an epic movie. This movie is such a gem bc it shows our history as a country & the little film within it of an older man & father reconciling w his family & facing his last years. Thanks so much guys!
It's fiction, not history
I'm so grateful to live at the time of these legends. Making a movie about a legend called Hoffa.
This movie should have got a worldwide release.
Scam Likely He means in theatres.
Q&As are always so wonderful. The Irishman opened up so many historical questions. 3.5 hours still wasn't enough time for this brilliant film. Gentlemen, live long and make more movies together. We await your next adventure with enthusiasm. Harry Smith you are a great interviewer.
Ray is one of my favorite actors!
Oh man watching these two greats in one couch is breathtaking and boy I would do anything to be on Ray's seat right now!
Obviously De Niro, Pacino and Pesci were great. But I thought Ray Romano was really good too. And Sebastian as well.
I dont know of any word describing the greatness of two OLD guys sitting side by side
I wouldnt have been able to see this amazing movie without Netflix. Living in a small Texas town. I would watch in a theater a 2nd time if available. Excellent movie
These guys are likely two of the best actors of generations. So much so that Ray, being one of the greats himself looks intimidated and very quiet
Would love to see Al Robert and Joe Peci in more movies together it would be Epic. You just get better with age. Three great actors of all time. You'll never see another trio of talented actors like this again, not in this century. Go guys, your the best ever
They could play The Supremes, make a Holocaust comedy
Fantastic to listen this legends talk and share experiences….they are such wonderful, soft spoken, humble and classy gentleman.
Here for ray ❤️ he did a great job in the movie
Joe Pesci : you didn't say there was gonna be more than one interview
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are amazing actors !! my respect for them. Ray Romano is amazing as well !!! In my opinion, it is a privilege for any other actor to share the stage with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Ray Romano does not look like 60 , he looks younger !!
Both of those guys are two of my favorite actors of all time! They simply don't make bad films!
Awww...I love these gorgeous 3 Italian men.
Those two are the greatest DUO in movie history.
Ray Romano and Harry Smith?
Did Ray romano drive them there or something? He's basically just waiting for the guys to do the interview
Yes in fact , he did drive them. Loved every minute of it.
Because he knows who the big guns are and doesn't have that big of a role. Pacino is a talker at every interview
Lmao
he's in awe and quite respectful... from being a comedian and TV actor to see his progression is something. He seems surprised himself...
Ray Romano CAN ACT. He doesn't need 2 sit there in disbelief in order 2 show respect. He's there bcz he's earned the right 2 BE there.
If he spoke too much then someone would be complaining about THAT.
Al pacino deserves all the respect in the world, you never hear a bad thing about him.. he doesnt talk politics, great man
3 of the best, Pacino however, most magnetic in every performance
Pacino looks healthy enough to be in another 100 films. Pacino, DeNiro, Romano what a cast.
Can't wait for House Of Gucci in November. And King Lear has been announced
