Really ? I don't change my mind of taste so fast. I don't like fake plants or fake grass at all. Here in France for examples, in public area's there's too much of it also on balconies or in apartements, I see sometimes. Not the same stuff in Switzerland.

I lived in an apartment with a balcony that had the same iron railing as the ones she has in her backyard. I came up with a pretty good idea for privacy for my railings. I bought landscape fabric that comes on a roll and wove the fabric in and out thru the railings. It took me just minutes to do. It not only worked but looked really nice and not cheap looking at all.

That is a lot of plastic in that one backyard. Here in Australia, the UV rays would destroy that yard within a year. Everything would fade in colour, then dry and disintegrate!

I used to do the faux grass on a cracked cement patio. Bonus, you could vacuum it! Worked great for a townhouse.
I do like the idea of the fence with faux greenery. I am so going to make that!!!
That is a lot of plastic in that one backyard. Here in Australia, the UV rays would destroy that yard within a year. Everything would fade in colour, then dry and disintegrate!
It looks like a pain on the butt to maintain. Grass carpet constantly needing to be readjusted and privacy fence coming loose in windy weather.
