Hi Jelly and Mr P, thank you for sharing your experience on Gulf Air from Singapore to Bangkok. I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience the flight. The meal looks disappointing too. I hope you had an enjoyable time and good food in Bangkok. 😊
@tobyteng7522 hello there again, thanks for always supporting our vlogs. We had our fair share of misbehaving kids on flights but we do hope that more parents are more mindful to be considerate to others when flying. That said, Gulf air wasn't too bad for a short flight, and we added a new airline to our flown-list 🙂I should have expected that snack vs full meal though. Bangkok was somewhat a layover, en route to Bhutan, and in keeping with all our trips, there were much goofing around and just being silly. You will see them in the next few vlogs soon enough! no stress @oheyjelly
👋👋Hiii Toby! I'm glad it was a short flight, and that I made the wise decision of bringing my Sony XM4 headphones on this trip, despite it being bulkier than the usual earbuds for a hand-carry luggage. 😚 Stayed one night near the airport because we had to head back to take an early dawn flight in a few hours...to Bhutan! More vlogs coming soon...I've been working extra hard to edit footages in between crazy work schedules! 😮💨 Ever grateful and appreciative for your support and friendly comments.☺@tobyteng7522
@ryansofly1624 hello there Ryan, thanks for watching our vlog. Gulf air had flights serving SG from the mid 1990s to 2008, but was absent thereafter until restarting this route back in Apr 2021. We were just as surprised when we first found out, and it was interesting to us to try a new national carrier. It also helped that the prices were similar to other "budget" options ha, cheers! 🙂
Hi Diana! Yes, Gulf Air flies to BKK and back - full flight means you get to check-in your luggage too. No need to be restricted to handcarry if you opt for GA 😀.
Good airline video. I’m a bit of an AV geek. I hate that, when there’s kids playing up and the parent allows them. I think every airline should have a child free zone like AirAsia or Scoot
@94vrcommodore Hey Gordon! Child-free zones will only work if they are actually soundproof. 😆 But yea, we do hope that more parents can be mindful and considerate to others when flying. The passengers seated around them (including us) were just unlucky. 😮💨
Excluding the misbehaving kid, our maiden Gulf Air was simply ok. The comfy seats, luggage allowances and polite service made up for the downsides (snack, limited entertainment selection). It has been a while since Mr. P played airplane games, but monopoly helped passed some flight time. Good enough for a short flight, but may not be a top choice for longer flights. @2:53 @oheyjelly should have a dedicated toilet tour for every travel vlog, we want more of the toilet mascot in the china vlogs. Do you know the World Toilet Organisation is located in Sg? We users often take it for granted, but sg does have enviable toilet facilities at the infra level. Given her penchant for hygiene (often overlooked), perhaps Jelly can make a difference. haha. @4:00 qualifier, this was a bad angle and discounted that I had two pillows behind my back🙂 Have you taken Gulf Air before? Let us know your experience in the comments below!
