I’ve done the following: FSU, Clemson -> SEC Wash. St, Oregon St -> Big 12 Tulane, Memphis, South Florida -> ACC Every power conference has 18 teams + Notre Dame
I took Norte Dame(me) to the ACC, and Clem and FSU to Big12 in 2026… but ACC feels too weak now for Norte Dame. What would most likely happen IRL in this sort of scenario??
With how ND has been historically I think they stay independent for a while. Only scenario I can see is if they have to be in a conference to make the playoffs. If that’s the case that’s too much money to lose out on then they would be forced to join. I think they would more than likely go to the big 10 in your scenario
@@cswee123 I have had some wild results using your realignment guides. It's made it a blast to experience. Whether it be combining, solo, throwing in own twists; it's definitely increased the replay value for me on CFB25.
My relegation would be harder because I wouldn't do it every season because I would give schools an extra year to try to turn things around so I would take the combined win/loss record of two years. So say you went 5 and 6 season one and season two you went 7 and 4 your combined record would be 12 and 10. To me it just gives teams a chance to bounce back from the season before
@@Jamessmith-xk3fh I like that Idea as well. You could also add in something like if you win conference title you can't get demoted for two cycles or something. That would be extra tracking but could be fun
I think the only thing I’d change about this video would making the SECs partner conference be the sun belt. Other than that this was really good and I’m definitely gonna use it for my UTEP dynasty later
I liked how you talked about Project Rudy, a.k.a. the College Football Super League. Did you talk about Project Rudy in past videos? If I missed those, I apologize. But if you haven't, I hope you do more Project Rudy videos in the future.
I have yet to discuss I just recently read up on it. I have done a super league iteration in one of my previous videos but didn’t term it that at the time. I will end up doing a few more realignments before the new game next year I will do my best to slot it in. I appreciate the feedback!
Haven’t really heard the names thrown around much. If memory serves me correct TCU does have a pretty large endowment so they could play up with that. If they want leverage with the B12 they will 100% act like they are going though
Im doing the teams going to the pac 12, umass, I do Clemson and florida state to the big 10 a couple years in. Then I save the ACC with Notre dame, and turn it into a basketball conference adding Memphis, UCONN with a couple more
thought about taking and imploding the acc, and putting Georgia Tech and Tulane back in the SEC, this could be realistic as they both have founder rights in the SEC and cannot be told no.
@@cswee123 do you know how the lawsuit went or if it's been settled? FSU and Clemson both were sueing the ACC because they were chosen to join the big 10 but ACC wouldn't let them out. I don't think the big 10 will do anything unless it really moves the needle. Right now it's really Clemson FSU and Miami that would move the needle. They won't just put someone in for the sake of doing so. These last few moves will be to pass the SEC. The SEC really should think about these 3 schools. To me duke and UNC are more big 12. Big 12 is the up and comer and the best basketball conference, UNC Duke and UConn and the big 12 is bigger in basketball than the SEC is in football
@@cswee123 thought about the basketball side of things while imploding the ACC it left me with duke UNC UConn Memphis and UNLV joining the big 12, the mountain west also imploding a few teams joining pac 12 and the AAC Really in about 10 years I see it being Big 10, SEC Big 12 Pac 12 C-USA And the rest just being left behind and having to step down a division with a reinforced shortened FCS
In the 2036 Project Rudy alignment, I would switch Colorado and Colorado State OUT of the PAC-12 South and MOVE them into the Big-12 North. Swap Arizona and Arizona State to the PAC-12 South.
4:38 makes a lot of sense for a nice regional feel to CFB.
I agree I liked that portion a lot
I’ve done the following:
FSU, Clemson -> SEC
Wash. St, Oregon St -> Big 12
Tulane, Memphis, South Florida -> ACC
Every power conference has 18 teams + Notre Dame
LOL put them Florida State 1-9 Seminulls in the Sunbelt for giggles and laughs
I like it also FSU may need to go play in the FCS for a year as punishment
put ND in the big 10
@@thunderprod312 I would but I really think they will stay with independence until the playoffs or other post season hurts them for it
I like putting FSU in the sun belt and force losing all their games so they become a 1 star school
This is the best video on this topic I've seen by far. Preciate the work.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
I think escalating the tension between Utah and the Big 12 and having them go back to the PAC 12 because of it would be fun
That could be fun, maybe a few other teams tag along as well
@@cswee123me personally for the regulation system, I would connect the sunbelt to the SEC and CUSA to the big 12
@@Tendered12 I agree I typically do that but I accidentally mismatched them and didn't feel like going back to re edit the sheet.
@@cswee123 ahh
Been waiting for this video for a while!! Excited to try it out
Glad you enjoyed it! Wanted to wait until the PAC 12 made a decision but they are being too slow, let me know how it goes
You know how much i love these
I'm glad you enjoy them! They are actually fun to make as well so a win-win
There was a lot of talk a couple of years ago regarding Kansas going to B1G
Feels like if the Big 10 can't move east then those would make sense especially Kansas for bball

Been contemplating doing a promotion/regulation experiment

which teams do you have in the mw in 2028? cause u said they should have 8 games, but with only 8 teams in there that isnt possible
I misspoke, they will have 7 Cusa is the one with 8 I do believe since they lose UTEP it will be 9 teams total. Apologies
@ thanks man, all good
How do you do it when you’ve already started a dynasty
After every season there is an option to do it
Why would the SEC want to add Oklahoma State or UCF? This makes absolutely no sense.
Why would Cal be in the ACC?
I think at this point merge the MWC and PAC, put Gonzaga in the Big East.
If we want to get real crazy Gonzaga to the Big 10 for basketball??
