Despite some flaws, I’ve not had this much fun with a sports title since … well the last NCAA Football. Every game in dynasty has its own personality, and when you think you’ve conquered it, Oregon goes and thoroughly beats you down in the championship.
When the game works, it’s incredible. Best gameplay of any football game I’ve ever played, stunning animations, realistic and balanced games. It’s just so hot and cold.
ATTENTION: These are the CORRECT SLIDERS! I just wanted to come back and show luv for you my guy. I have been playing cfb25 since day 1 and I can say without a doubt your sliders have completely changed the game. The only thing I changed was the player speed parity scale. I moved it up to 20, instead of 0. This gives my scrambling quarterback just enough speed to out run a DE chasing to the sideline if I take the correct angle and this allows you to use the COD skill to stutter step and you can see the starting and stopping(acceleration) make a real difference. Other than that, All American difficulty just as you said so computer doesn't cheese you. I still lose but it is bc of my play calling and team overall talent. 1 other thing I turned off is the heat seeker That just makes my sacks more rewarding for me as alot of times the QB will make a good juke move and escape and maybe my teamate will get the sack but alot of times to QB scrambles for yards. All good with me. Super Realistic in my book. And I kept my dystany online since I didnt want to start over and the updates will come automatically. Personal preference. Just wanted to say thanks bro, nice job
@@LAMB2YSPORTS Only thing that bothers me is that in a recent game, My RB had 156 yards rushing and in the 4th quarter the game was close and eventually went into OT. My RB was nowhere to be seen in key moments for most of the 4th quarter and I couldn't get him back into the game. I had to rely on a true freshman to carry the ball which was nerve racking.
Reticle speed doesn’t affect the passing meter speed at all, it determines how fast reticle moves when you use your left stick to move the aim point of your passes for precision passing
Actually, you convinced me that starting a rookie coach at a big school on slowest xp speed might be something I want to try. Trying to keep that school competitive would be a challenge.
Just stumbled upon your video & thank you for posting this cuz the confusion with sliders specifically ones like the speed parity thresholds & stuff is very vague & goes unexplained in game so thank you from EVERYONE who plays this game we all need this info !!

These are very similar to what I have. But I do have CPU Pass Acc at 10. I also play on Heisman so that changes things a bit, but I find that the CPU misses passes more for lower rated players. Good stuff man. A few of these I’ll test & incorporate!

Yeah you’ll still see that from time to time 😂😂 You can’t slider it away completely unfortunately. Strangely enough though, I saw it least often with both Pass Coverage and Reaction Time set to 0 - yes zero! Maybe give that a try?
Yeah the cpu cheats in all kinds of ways 😂😂 Constantly hitting you out of bounds too - I’d be interested to know if this impacts wear and tear, although I suspect it doesn’t.
I think it’s ok. Different people find different ways of playing enjoyable. Some people like realism, others just want nonstop big plays and crazy stats. I think of it more as being able to tailor the game to your liking.
I set the Player Speed Parity Scale (aka Speed Threshold) to 0 and didn't notice any change at all. I'm not convinced this isn't bugged, or maybe they over-tuned it in the patch. I'm almost never scoring breakaway touchdowns with my fastest players now. Pre-patch speed mattered a ton. Trying setting it at 1 and seeing if that helps, will have to mess with it.
There’s definitely a difference imo. You can see it in foot races in go routes vs single coverage and during pick six chases to the end zone, etc. I spent a lot of time in instant replay after these kinds of plays tracking how many yards the gap between two players increased by over 50-60 yards. It’s not glaring on a play to play basis outside of instant replay but you can also notice it in some of the animations and interactions between players.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS go routes the fast guys definitely win. I'm noticing it with the updated pursuit angles, situations where you expect your guy to be able to get to the edge and score, it seems like a DB always runs him down.

Good Video. I'm going to give most of these a whirl. I will say the advantage to having an ONLINE dynasty (even if it's a single player) is that any quick fixes that EA makes can get pushed through that way and will affect your dynasty accordingly. If you have an OFFLINE dynasty you will have to wait for the patch and download and often you may have to restart the dynasty to take affect (not always but some). I may tweak your FGs a bit but I will see how it plays. Earned a like and subscribe.
Yeah that’s for sure an advantage. I’d personally rather wait a little longer and not have to rely on the servers but online has its benefits. Thanks for the sub! 🙏
I found All-American to be waayyyyy too easy. Im winning heisman every year. I have a winning record of 192-29 with Kennesaw State University LOL. I also found that on Heisman the CPU just strait up cheats and its still possible to win games, but its just not fun. Ima start a new playthrough and try these out. Good look brother

So first off, I started a dynasty with your heisman sliders and for the most part they are great. Was glad to see bad qbs are bad. Questions I have do you have any house rules?? Like no switch on defense. Also tried your AA set. The pass coverage is still pretty bad for the user. Would you recommend dropping the DPI to 25?? It seems to work well in the heisman set.
You can certainly try 25 DPI for the AA set. That's likely to have a positive impact for you. I'm primarily a FIFA/EA FC player so I just use things like College Football 25 for a bit of a break from that or between editions of FC. I like the gameplay to be as realistic as possible but I don't really implement rules or restrictions beyond that tbh. If I spent more time on the game and had a more dedicated dynasty save then I would.
Ok so I am not a pro but I'm better than the average I can make reads know what every defense looks like and know the soft spots in them to be able to hot route. I tried your Heisman sliders and All American sliders with the same teams. Heisman was way to easy for me I blew the team out we got a lot of sacks and i threw for almost 400 yeards with 1 INT. Then I went to All American and Holy Ish that was a wild game! Throwing stats at 200 yards pretty normal (I like that) got sacked because I was lazy and didn't adjust my line due to how easy Heisman was. Ran for my life a few times but overall had so much fun felt real with stats. And won by a field goal. They had a chance to tie the game with a field goal from 45 yards and missed I got so hyped when they missed. Very real and Wild game. The only thing is it felt like every time they did a fake snap we got called for it. But I am in Dynasty and playing with a low ovr team. So my line men having low awareness or something may play a part in that.

I love these settings but after 5 seasons it’s gotten too easy for me as I am scoring 38-50 points per game consistently. Should I go up to heisman ? Or just my sliders more difficult? Any thoughts are appreciated
I tried the auto sub sliders you have and it must be bugged like it’s been for madden for the last 4 years with fatigue because I STILL HAVE PLAYERS ON MY FIELD THAT WONT SUB OUT WOTH LIKE negative 25 speed. And before someone tells me “just sub them out bro” it’s beyond annoying to have to manually sub out 11 people every other play.
Like a lot of players or just the odd one? I have to manually sub once in a while but generally my rotations are good. Way better than Madden which has always basically been non-functional.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS after I typed my comment I looked into it and it’s bugged. Basically what’s going on is after like 5 - 10 plays they go from 100% normal to dark gray/ highest fatigue possible. I put the backups in and literally a few plays later it’s the same thing. I then rotate the starters back in who had quite a few plays off and they are still gassed. The patch that bugged out the scoreboard/ makes it disappear, introduced the speed/smart route glitch and the fatigue all broke in this most recent update. After the first quarter both my starters and backups are so tired that basically they are all long snappers on the field 🤣. Apparently people weren’t seeing enough fatigue pre patch so they then went overboard and now it’s the opposite now it’s too high. If you play at a stadium that also zaps energy faster than normal it’s even worse. At those stadiums it’s literally a play or two and they are dead. I’m gonna keep your auto subs sliders 100% and just hope that after they fix what they did it will be great. For context I’m in a 20 person league and I’m Ohio State. My team and backups are better most peoples teams and it’s beyond frustrating to see how fast my whole team just dies from exhaustion.
@@beastlyword0690 that’s just EA football for you. Offline game modes like Dynasty and Franchise mode are neglected. EA focuses on what majority of their player base plays. Online & Ultimate team, the 6 mins Qtr’s with non-stop offensive scoring game modes. We’ll probably never get an organic simulation sports game in our life time unfortunately
great sliders, didnt realize some of the things in there were actually a slider (like defensive reaction time). This coach XP thing needs to be adjusted...they need to raise the cap level for created coaches, or at least give us a skill reset. 50 just isnt high enough IMO for all of the options. You should have enough levels to max out 1 or 2 of the architypes, with some left over to play around in CEO or Program builder. I spent a ton of time on my first guy not realizing I cap at 50 so I have a cluster of abilities that didnt get where I wanted them to.
Yeah a bunch of people got caught out with that. There was no indication it maxed out at 50 so no one planned accordingly. I think there should be no max, just make is suuuuuuper slow past 50ish.
WUT?! 😂😂 I see like 2 a game! Tell me more. Quarter length, team, all modifications at all to the sliders? How many of those were against you and how many against the CPU?
That issue isn’t as bad on All American as it is on Heisman, at least with these sliders. In the 4th quarter of the game I’m playing, the CPU QB is 13/22 for 154 with 0 TDs and 0 picks.

Got a question....When you are adjusting USER and CPU sliders, Does the user only apply to when you are controlling the player?? Does the CPU sliders affect your CPU players or only the opponent?
I’ve been trying different slider sets experimenting with my own and different ones online. But this is probably the best slider set that I’ve seen. Great job!
Well the game is literally scripted. The code generates an outcome and then tries its best to make the animations match the outcome. Heisman stacks the game against you to make it more difficult, but that leads to the outcomes and the animations not matching up far more often. It's not cheating exactly but it certainly feels that way and it's pretty close. Lots of people will say Heisman is fine and you're just complaining because you're bad at the game but that's literally how the game works. You can definitely win on Heisman, but you have to overcome those instances of the code determining a unfavourable outcome for you even when the animations suggest otherwise.
Great video! may these changes and tweaked a couple. But is anyone else having issue running screens in a formation? I had to remove them from my playbook, because they only had like an 5% success rate. Thanks again for video!
I think screens have got significantly worse since the update. I had a lot of success with them beforehand, but now RBs get stuck amongst the OL way more often.
Are you absolutely positive you can change your pipeline after you create your coach? I think you could before the most recent patch, but not anymore. Would you happen to know how to get more than a lvl 3 pipeline tier? Maybe I’m not far enough in my dynasty but I have trouble competing with the lvl 4 and 5 pipeline tier schools. Nice video! Others who played NCAA 14 - I didn’t - will likely know more than me but I believe your OC and DC pipelines stack and there may be some coach abilities that influence it? I’m mostly a sliders guy 😅

You don’t need to turn off roughing the kicker, the cpu runs into you just as much, and they miss enough FG that you don’t need to rush, you should turn off intentional grounding, it makes scramblers actually run, an they don’t call it on the cpu
Kickers miss for you? Through 4 seasons the CPU had missed a total of 3 field goals against me and one of them was roughing. Even 60 yarders are automatic for them
What would work better for casual gamers? Freshman mode with the cpu skills bumped up OR Heisman with the cpu skills bumped down? I played as GT vs Florida St, Heisman, lost 50+ to 0. Then replayed at Freshman level I won 50+ to 0. This game is too easy or impossible. I’ll retry Heisman and just turn down all the CPU skills to like 20.
Yeah… 10 hours of messing with different combinations of skill sliders during dynasty mode. THEY HAVE NO EFFECT! This is all BS. Try it… play Freshman with the appropriate CPU skill sliders at 100, lower yours to 20. You will still CRUSH THE CPU. Then try Varsity… crank your skill sliders up, drop the CPU skill sliders. Harder than Freshmen mode but way too hard with sliders adjusted like this. I’m convinced they are broken for dynasty mode. Try it. You’ll see. They dont make any diff.
Back with another question 😂 First off thank you very much for being responsive and making awesome videos. So when I play dynasty I tend to only play the offensive downs and let the CPU sim when I'm on D. I'll occasionally play both sides of the ball if Its 4th qrt and a close game or I'm trailing, that way I can hopefully call the winning plays. With that being said. How would these sliders affect me, based off the fact that I ONLY play offense 90% of the time.
No worries 🫡 You should be fine playing that way in theory. The sim stats aren’t amazing but they’re close enough on defense and your stats should be fine with these sliders on offense.
On the team selection screen, is there on option to view RATINGS for each team!? And for the QTR length, does the game generate relatively similar stats for the game you DONT control, at the same QTR length? I mean, if I play 5 min QTRs, will the cpu games I dont control generate stats based on 5 min QTRs?
You don’t get very much info about the schools on that screen so I would go to the rosters in the main menu and choose a school there before starting your dynasty. And no unfortunately the sim stats are fixed so you actually have to determine the quarter length based on the sim stats rather than the other way around. I’d prefer 15 min quarters like irl but you get too many plays per game that way. With 11/15, you should get realistic stats over the course of the season when compared with the cpu teams.
Thats a real bummer. I’ve played a LOT of football video games and I always preferred the ones that generate relatively consistent stats to my controlled games of 5min qtrs. For me, 6 min is max. 11 min qtrs is just too long imo. I just prefer a shorter game so I can get thru a season quicker. And I just dont have the time for 11+ min qtrs.
Ive had good success with these with a small sample size. The game just feels too fast at times and seeing some wonkiness. Now I'm patiently awaiting your Madden 25 guide....
Adaptive AI and those agressiveness sliders… how do you know what those effect? Those dont impact how AI teams play against you while playing a game, not just while simulating? Or both? What is your source of information on how these settings work and what they impact?
Can you clarify something for me please? When you set the pass and run blocking for the player, is that only for the user controlled player or the user controlled team? I get sacked constantly even when stepping up in the pocket and it seems like the DLine sheds all blocks when running. Just could use some help to make sure I tune that to my liking but want to understand how it works. Thanks!
It’s for everyone on the user controlled team. The whole OL, FBs, TEs, etc. Lots of people have complained about the pass blocking after the title update. I personally thinks it’s pretty good but I seem to be in the minority. The pass blocking slider also does not seem to be very sensitive at all - not anywhere close to the difference you would expect at 0 vs at 100. So it might just be a case of waiting for another patch to refine the blocking code. As for run blocking, this is such a cliched answer but don’t press sprint too early 😂😂 Pressing sprint signals to your OL that you’re bursting up the field and prompts them to disengage their blocks and follow you - hence the insta-sheds the second you touch the sprint button. Lay off the sprint until you’ve hit the hole and then book it.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS thank you for that answer! So I did learn that speed boost contributes to block shedding and have applied it to my game. It made a world of difference in my SDSU save. I just started a new Offline Dynasty with Georgia and I’m getting smoked in the backfield every time. It’s weird since Eitienne has 96 acc and 91 speed, but even in the 2nd week against the FCS school I can’t run the ball. I hit the hole without turbo boost and when I find the key moment to hit the boost it’s like he can’t turn up the speed. Anyway, I very much appreciate your response. Thank you again!

Heisman is much harder to test for so it’s taken a little longer. I literally finished the set tonight though and I’ll be recording tomorrow 👍 These won’t be good on Heisman.

Blocking is terrible. I won't buy this game again and they need to fix this game immediately. It's crazy it was released in this fashion. You can't play 15 minute quarters in a realistic manner. Sad.
15 min quarters are always tough just because the CPU sim teams don’t get enough plays per game to keep up with you stats wise. But yeah the blocking is horrific at times 😂😂
Active roster means a custom roster that you’ve downloaded from the file share and loaded in the main menu. EA will update the ‘default’ rosters throughout the course of the year so that they’re accurate.
Now that FC 25 is out, I’m busy playing that on my main channel so probably not for a while. Do Madden or CFB need new sliders? The gameplay doesn’t tend to vary that much over the course of the year for those games.
So regarding stats. I’m 3 games into the season; 5 min qtrs. Normal clock. I’m leading ALL other teams in passing and running. Yep, at 5 min QTRS. The stats are not to being consistent.
I struggle with defense. Used all your settings as Nebraska. It feels good offensively but defense for me is hard. Got destroyed by Colorado but i destroyed utep. But currently facing a fcs and getting torched. I think there is a few to many yards per game so im gonna go to 10 minute quarters
You're 100% wrong on how speed parity slider works. It doesn't raise people to that number... it adjusts the gap between speed points starting with 98 to 99. So 0 makes a 50 play slower than on 90 threshold that's true. But on 90 threshold it's not making everyone have a 90 speed...
Yeah that’s tough to avoid completely. Happens less on All American than on Heisman and thankfully it does depend on the quality of the opposing QB way more than Madden.
You’ll get offers from other schools at the end of each season (if anyone wants to offer you a job anyway) but you can’t just choose to move wherever you want.

I haven’t been able to spend as much time pm Madden as I would have liked yet. The good news is that my slider set from Madden 24 still plays pretty well so I already have a head start using that as the base rather than starting from scratch at default.

I certainly don’t want every game to be 45-41. You pretty much have to make a decision. Do you want each individual play to look right but have greatly inflated offensive stats? Or can you accept some individual plays looking wonky so the end of game stats are more realistic? I tend to lean towards the latter though neither are obviously ideal. With that being said, I absolutely think catching needs to be dropped for the user on all american.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS my only concern is that the blatantly wide open dropped passes will be even more frequent. There's times when I throw a perfect ball in the Blue lead my receiver and everything and as soon as it hits his hands the defender tackles my ankles from behind and I end up dropping the ball. That's what kills me lol But I think I'll give it a try with your settings. If anything I might just leave it where it is if the drops balls are even worse then before.
why drop the o line sliders below a 100? it seems my oline is always getting out done by the dline in the XP realm and even my higher end tackles still get blown up by low end dlineman, still an awesome vid man
Hmmm did you go over SOUND settings? I can barely hear the announcers. Its all unbalanced. I cant believe nobody mentions this. I also cant believe we cant adjust the broadcast angle (lower it, raise it, zoom in/out on it). EA will never get this game right. Oh well, maybe in 10 more years.
I’m actually brand new to this game - never played NCAA 14 - so I’m not anywhere close to knowledgable enough to do a recruiting guide. I’ve played Madden for years and have experience with sliders on all sorts of other sports games so that’s allowed me to put this together. The best recruiting info I’ve seen has come from FendlerYT.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS ok awesome thanks I myself is new to college game I do play madden I have put recruiting to cpu for 1 year and they actually did a pretty good job so I might just leave the recruiting to cpu that way its kind of balanced Cause if you manually recruit you might end up with too high powered team which is nothing wrong with that I just figured since other teams there cpu is recruiting for them I might as well leave cpu recruit for me life is that simple my friend 😁
CFB 25 sliders seem to have the least impact of any sports game I’ve ever played. The Pass Coverage slider in particular is crazy. You really have to pay attention to the details to notice any difference between 0 and 100.
Haha most people do! Tbf, EA don’t make it easy to figure out what the sliders do sometimes. The fumble/ball security is another huge one. I don’t know why they can’t just tell us 🤷
I don’t use Revamped so I can’t speak to that. (I use Placement and Accuracy.) But I believe the Reticle referred to here is the reticle that moves along the ground that indicates where the pass is being steered. The faster it moves the more precise the movement needs to be to avoid overthrowing the pass. My understanding of the passing meter is that that speed is influenced by other factors. Appreciate the video
The fact that "Difficulty" seems to dictate little more than how often the CPU outright cheats is embarrassing for a game released in 2024.
But hasn't that always been the EA Sports way of doing things. Eye candy with BS game play.

Reticle speed doesn’t affect the passing meter speed at all, it determines how fast reticle moves when you use your left stick to move the aim point of your passes for precision passing

Actually, you convinced me that starting a rookie coach at a big school on slowest xp speed might be something I want to try. Trying to keep that school competitive would be a challenge.

My goal is to at least explain what each setting and slider does, so if people don’t like something in the set I recommend, they can tweak it themselves.
These are very similar to what I have. But I do have CPU Pass Acc at 10. I also play on Heisman so that changes things a bit, but I find that the CPU misses passes more for lower rated players. Good stuff man. A few of these I’ll test & incorporate!
I’m still working on my Heisman set but I think I’ll also end up with very low pass accuracy. I’ll give 10 a shot!

Yeah you’ll still see that from time to time 😂😂 You can’t slider it away completely unfortunately. Strangely enough though, I saw it least often with both Pass Coverage and Reaction Time set to 0 - yes zero! Maybe give that a try?

I think it’s ok. Different people find different ways of playing enjoyable. Some people like realism, others just want nonstop big plays and crazy stats. I think of it more as being able to tailor the game to your liking.
Which coach abilities do you use when you maxed out your coach level at 50?
I set the Player Speed Parity Scale (aka Speed Threshold) to 0 and didn't notice any change at all. I'm not convinced this isn't bugged, or maybe they over-tuned it in the patch. I'm almost never scoring breakaway touchdowns with my fastest players now. Pre-patch speed mattered a ton.
Trying setting it at 1 and seeing if that helps, will have to mess with it.
There’s definitely a difference imo.
You can see it in foot races in go routes vs single coverage and during pick six chases to the end zone, etc. I spent a lot of time in instant replay after these kinds of plays tracking how many yards the gap between two players increased by over 50-60 yards.
It’s not glaring on a play to play basis outside of instant replay but you can also notice it in some of the animations and interactions between players.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS go routes the fast guys definitely win. I'm noticing it with the updated pursuit angles, situations where you expect your guy to be able to get to the edge and score, it seems like a DB always runs him down.

I play on varsity with sliders that helps the cpu. All American is just too hard for me.
Good Video. I'm going to give most of these a whirl. I will say the advantage to having an ONLINE dynasty (even if it's a single player) is that any quick fixes that EA makes can get pushed through that way and will affect your dynasty accordingly. If you have an OFFLINE dynasty you will have to wait for the patch and download and often you may have to restart the dynasty to take affect (not always but some). I may tweak your FGs a bit but I will see how it plays. Earned a like and subscribe.
Yeah that’s for sure an advantage. I’d personally rather wait a little longer and not have to rely on the servers but online has its benefits.

I found All-American to be waayyyyy too easy. Im winning heisman every year. I have a winning record of 192-29 with Kennesaw State University LOL. I also found that on Heisman the CPU just strait up cheats and its still possible to win games, but its just not fun. Ima start a new playthrough and try these out. Good look brother

So first off, I started a dynasty with your heisman sliders and for the most part they are great. Was glad to see bad qbs are bad. Questions I have do you have any house rules?? Like no switch on defense. Also tried your AA set. The pass coverage is still pretty bad for the user. Would you recommend dropping the DPI to 25?? It seems to work well in the heisman set.
You can certainly try 25 DPI for the AA set. That's likely to have a positive impact for you.
I'm primarily a FIFA/EA FC player so I just use things like College Football 25 for a bit of a break from that or between editions of FC. I like the gameplay to be as realistic as possible but I don't really implement rules or restrictions beyond that tbh. If I spent more time on the game and had a more dedicated dynasty save then I would.

Ok so I am not a pro but I'm better than the average I can make reads know what every defense looks like and know the soft spots in them to be able to hot route.
I tried your Heisman sliders and All American sliders with the same teams. Heisman was way to easy for me I blew the team out we got a lot of sacks and i threw for almost 400 yeards with 1 INT. Then I went to All American and Holy Ish that was a wild game! Throwing stats at 200 yards pretty normal (I like that) got sacked because I was lazy and didn't adjust my line due to how easy Heisman was. Ran for my life a few times but overall had so much fun felt real with stats. And won by a field goal. They had a chance to tie the game with a field goal from 45 yards and missed I got so hyped when they missed. Very real and Wild game. The only thing is it felt like every time they did a fake snap we got called for it. But I am in Dynasty and playing with a low ovr team. So my line men having low awareness or something may play a part in that.

I love these settings but after 5 seasons it’s gotten too easy for me as I am scoring 38-50 points per game consistently. Should I go up to heisman ? Or just my sliders more difficult? Any thoughts are appreciated

I tried the auto sub sliders you have and it must be bugged like it’s been for madden for the last 4 years with fatigue because I STILL HAVE PLAYERS ON MY FIELD THAT WONT SUB OUT WOTH LIKE negative 25 speed. And before someone tells me “just sub them out bro” it’s beyond annoying to have to manually sub out 11 people every other play.

I have to manually sub once in a while but generally my rotations are good. Way better than Madden which has always basically been non-functional.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS after I typed my comment I looked into it and it’s bugged. Basically what’s going on is after like 5 - 10 plays they go from 100% normal to dark gray/ highest fatigue possible. I put the backups in and literally a few plays later it’s the same thing. I then rotate the starters back in who had quite a few plays off and they are still gassed. The patch that bugged out the scoreboard/ makes it disappear, introduced the speed/smart route glitch and the fatigue all broke in this most recent update. After the first quarter both my starters and backups are so tired that basically they are all long snappers on the field 🤣. Apparently people weren’t seeing enough fatigue pre patch so they then went overboard and now it’s the opposite now it’s too high. If you play at a stadium that also zaps energy faster than normal it’s even worse. At those stadiums it’s literally a play or two and they are dead. I’m gonna keep your auto subs sliders 100% and just hope that after they fix what they did it will be great. For context I’m in a 20 person league and I’m Ohio State. My team and backups are better most peoples teams and it’s beyond frustrating to see how fast my whole team just dies from exhaustion.
Auto Sub sliders haven't worked since the dawn of EA Football time. I've been using it as an position aggression slider for the past 3 years.
@@JayR-jo9 in conjunction with them not working them bugging out fatigue is just an unhealthy combo. My entire team shouldn’t be dead after 1 quarter.
@@beastlyword0690 that’s just EA football for you. Offline game modes like Dynasty and Franchise mode are neglected. EA focuses on what majority of their player base plays. Online & Ultimate team, the 6 mins Qtr’s with non-stop offensive scoring game modes. We’ll probably never get an organic simulation sports game in our life time unfortunately

great sliders, didnt realize some of the things in there were actually a slider (like defensive reaction time). This coach XP thing needs to be adjusted...they need to raise the cap level for created coaches, or at least give us a skill reset. 50 just isnt high enough IMO for all of the options. You should have enough levels to max out 1 or 2 of the architypes, with some left over to play around in CEO or Program builder. I spent a ton of time on my first guy not realizing I cap at 50 so I have a cluster of abilities that didnt get where I wanted them to.
Yeah a bunch of people got caught out with that. There was no indication it maxed out at 50 so no one planned accordingly. I think there should be no max, just make is suuuuuuper slow past 50ish.

That issue isn’t as bad on All American as it is on Heisman, at least with these sliders. In the 4th quarter of the game I’m playing, the CPU QB is 13/22 for 154 with 0 TDs and 0 picks.
Have you tweaked this since last update? The interceptions and no look ball swats have been turned way up. Also they turned up injury.
I haven’t played the game since FC 25 dropped. I’ll try to get back on it and sort an update soon!

try loading it in the main settings and then do it also in dynasty. not sure if you tried it but it seems to help

Got a question....When you are adjusting USER and CPU sliders, Does the user only apply to when you are controlling the player?? Does the CPU sliders affect your CPU players or only the opponent?
User sliders apply to all players on the user team, including all players you aren’t controlling. Same goes for the CPU sliders.
I’ve been trying different slider sets experimenting with my own and different ones online. But this is probably the best slider set that I’ve seen. Great job!

Well the game is literally scripted. The code generates an outcome and then tries its best to make the animations match the outcome. Heisman stacks the game against you to make it more difficult, but that leads to the outcomes and the animations not matching up far more often. It's not cheating exactly but it certainly feels that way and it's pretty close.
Lots of people will say Heisman is fine and you're just complaining because you're bad at the game but that's literally how the game works. You can definitely win on Heisman, but you have to overcome those instances of the code determining a unfavourable outcome for you even when the animations suggest otherwise.
Great video! may these changes and tweaked a couple. But is anyone else having issue running screens in a formation? I had to remove them from my playbook, because they only had like an 5% success rate. Thanks again for video!
I think screens have got significantly worse since the update. I had a lot of success with them beforehand, but now RBs get stuck amongst the OL way more often.
Are you absolutely positive you can change your pipeline after you create your coach? I think you could before the most recent patch, but not anymore.
Would you happen to know how to get more than a lvl 3 pipeline tier? Maybe I’m not far enough in my dynasty but I have trouble competing with the lvl 4 and 5 pipeline tier schools.

I think there are Coaching tree options that increase pipelines. Either under CEO or Program Builder.

You don’t need to turn off roughing the kicker, the cpu runs into you just as much, and they miss enough FG that you don’t need to rush, you should turn off intentional grounding, it makes scramblers actually run, an they don’t call it on the cpu
Kickers miss for you? Through 4 seasons the CPU had missed a total of 3 field goals against me and one of them was roughing. Even 60 yarders are automatic for them

What would work better for casual gamers? Freshman mode with the cpu skills bumped up OR Heisman with the cpu skills bumped down? I played as GT vs Florida St, Heisman, lost 50+ to 0. Then replayed at Freshman level I won 50+ to 0. This game is too easy or impossible. I’ll retry Heisman and just turn down all the CPU skills to like 20.
Why not use one of the skill levels in between Freshman and Heisman? 😂😂

Yeah… 10 hours of messing with different combinations of skill sliders during dynasty mode. THEY HAVE NO EFFECT! This is all BS. Try it… play Freshman with the appropriate CPU skill sliders at 100, lower yours to 20. You will still CRUSH THE CPU. Then try Varsity… crank your skill sliders up, drop the CPU skill sliders. Harder than Freshmen mode but way too hard with sliders adjusted like this. I’m convinced they are broken for dynasty mode. Try it. You’ll see. They dont make any diff.

So when I play dynasty I tend to only play the offensive downs and let the CPU sim when I'm on D.
I'll occasionally play both sides of the ball if Its 4th qrt and a close game or I'm trailing, that way I can hopefully call the winning plays.
With that being said.
How would these sliders affect me, based off the fact that I ONLY play offense 90% of the time.

You should be fine playing that way in theory. The sim stats aren’t amazing but they’re close enough on defense and your stats should be fine with these sliders on offense.
On the team selection screen, is there on option to view RATINGS for each team!?
And for the QTR length, does the game generate relatively similar stats for the game you DONT control, at the same QTR length? I mean, if I play 5 min QTRs, will the cpu games I dont control generate stats based on 5 min QTRs?
You don’t get very much info about the schools on that screen so I would go to the rosters in the main menu and choose a school there before starting your dynasty.
And no unfortunately the sim stats are fixed so you actually have to determine the quarter length based on the sim stats rather than the other way around. I’d prefer 15 min quarters like irl but you get too many plays per game that way. With 11/15, you should get realistic stats over the course of the season when compared with the cpu teams.
Thats a real bummer. I’ve played a LOT of football video games and I always preferred the ones that generate relatively consistent stats to my controlled games of 5min qtrs. For me, 6 min is max. 11 min qtrs is just too long imo. I just prefer a shorter game so I can get thru a season quicker. And I just dont have the time for 11+ min qtrs.

Adaptive AI and those agressiveness sliders… how do you know what those effect? Those dont impact how AI teams play against you while playing a game, not just while simulating? Or both? What is your source of information on how these settings work and what they impact?
Those settings apply to the user coach/team during simulation. This is info direct from EA.

Can you clarify something for me please? When you set the pass and run blocking for the player, is that only for the user controlled player or the user controlled team? I get sacked constantly even when stepping up in the pocket and it seems like the DLine sheds all blocks when running. Just could use some help to make sure I tune that to my liking but want to understand how it works. Thanks!
It’s for everyone on the user controlled team. The whole OL, FBs, TEs, etc.
Lots of people have complained about the pass blocking after the title update. I personally thinks it’s pretty good but I seem to be in the minority. The pass blocking slider also does not seem to be very sensitive at all - not anywhere close to the difference you would expect at 0 vs at 100. So it might just be a case of waiting for another patch to refine the blocking code.
As for run blocking, this is such a cliched answer but don’t press sprint too early 😂😂 Pressing sprint signals to your OL that you’re bursting up the field and prompts them to disengage their blocks and follow you - hence the insta-sheds the second you touch the sprint button. Lay off the sprint until you’ve hit the hole and then book it.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS thank you for that answer! So I did learn that speed boost contributes to block shedding and have applied it to my game. It made a world of difference in my SDSU save. I just started a new Offline Dynasty with Georgia and I’m getting smoked in the backfield every time. It’s weird since Eitienne has 96 acc and 91 speed, but even in the 2nd week against the FCS school I can’t run the ball. I hit the hole without turbo boost and when I find the key moment to hit the boost it’s like he can’t turn up the speed. Anyway, I very much appreciate your response. Thank you again!

Blocking is terrible. I won't buy this game again and they need to fix this game immediately. It's crazy it was released in this fashion. You can't play 15 minute quarters in a realistic manner. Sad.
15 min quarters are always tough just because the CPU sim teams don’t get enough plays per game to keep up with you stats wise.

Question, why wouldn't you want to choose active rosters so that you'd have the more in real life updated roster? This is for realism right? Lol.
Active roster means a custom roster that you’ve downloaded from the file share and loaded in the main menu. EA will update the ‘default’ rosters throughout the course of the year so that they’re accurate.
Did the online dynasty folks have to restart for the new playbooks?

Do Madden or CFB need new sliders? The gameplay doesn’t tend to vary that much over the course of the year for those games.
So regarding stats. I’m 3 games into the season; 5 min qtrs. Normal clock. I’m leading ALL other teams in passing and running. Yep, at 5 min QTRS. The stats are not to being consistent.

You're 100% wrong on how speed parity slider works. It doesn't raise people to that number... it adjusts the gap between speed points starting with 98 to 99. So 0 makes a 50 play slower than on 90 threshold that's true. But on 90 threshold it's not making everyone have a 90 speed...

I haven’t been able to spend as much time pm Madden as I would have liked yet. The good news is that my slider set from Madden 24 still plays pretty well so I already have a head start using that as the base rather than starting from scratch at default.

I certainly don’t want every game to be 45-41.
You pretty much have to make a decision. Do you want each individual play to look right but have greatly inflated offensive stats? Or can you accept some individual plays looking wonky so the end of game stats are more realistic?
I tend to lean towards the latter though neither are obviously ideal.
With that being said, I absolutely think catching needs to be dropped for the user on all american.
@@LAMB2YSPORTS my only concern is that the blatantly wide open dropped passes will be even more frequent.
There's times when I throw a perfect ball in the Blue lead my receiver and everything and as soon as it hits his hands the defender tackles my ankles from behind and I end up dropping the ball.
That's what kills me lol
But I think I'll give it a try with your settings.
If anything I might just leave it where it is if the drops balls are even worse then before.
why drop the o line sliders below a 100? it seems my oline is always getting out done by the dline in the XP realm and even my higher end tackles still get blown up by low end dlineman, still an awesome vid man

Hmmm did you go over SOUND settings? I can barely hear the announcers. Its all unbalanced. I cant believe nobody mentions this. I also cant believe we cant adjust the broadcast angle (lower it, raise it, zoom in/out on it). EA will never get this game right. Oh well, maybe in 10 more years.

I’m actually brand new to this game - never played NCAA 14 - so I’m not anywhere close to knowledgable enough to do a recruiting guide.
I’ve played Madden for years and have experience with sliders on all sorts of other sports games so that’s allowed me to put this together.
The best recruiting info I’ve seen has come from FendlerYT.

I have put recruiting to cpu for 1 year and they actually did a pretty good job so I might just leave the recruiting to cpu that way its kind of balanced
Cause if you manually recruit you might end up with too high powered team which is nothing wrong with that I just figured since other teams there cpu is recruiting for them I might as well leave cpu recruit for me life is that simple my friend 😁

Sliders don't change anything. I haven't seen it have any impact.
CFB 25 sliders seem to have the least impact of any sports game I’ve ever played. The Pass Coverage slider in particular is crazy. You really have to pay attention to the details to notice any difference between 0 and 100.

Haha most people do! Tbf, EA don’t make it easy to figure out what the sliders do sometimes. The fumble/ball security is another huge one. I don’t know why they can’t just tell us 🤷
Reticle speed is irrelevant using Revamped Passling
Are you sure? I’m pretty certain it adjusts the speed at which the meter fills?
I don’t use Revamped so I can’t speak to that. (I use Placement and Accuracy.) But I believe the Reticle referred to here is the reticle that moves along the ground that indicates where the pass is being steered. The faster it moves the more precise the movement needs to be to avoid overthrowing the pass. My understanding of the passing meter is that that speed is influenced by other factors.

I honestly have no idea. They're certainly worth a try but I didn't test them on Varsity at all.

These sliders aren’t realistic at all. Every top 25 matchup I give up 500-600 yards on defense. Awful

Anther not bout injuries is my player got injured said 14weeks but for 3 weeks it still said 14 then after 4 weeks in finally started going down
