To me, the most important thing you can do in an online league is to sign a qb with the headstrong ability. Being able to hot route on the road is INVALUABLE
If you hot route push one button at a time about 1 to 2 seconds apart. ive never failed a hot route change at away games. Its slow but works every time. And yes you have to do it early cause its not a quick process.
It’s realistic if you don’t have any time of possession your defense will constantly be on the field you’re just more likely to get scored on and they’ll be more desperate with bigger chunk plays I have some great sliders for heisman lmk if you want to try
Good stuff again. One thing in stat caps, I like my D lineman if they show quick jump ability at bronze to start to actually have about 12 or 15 stat caps, get em maxed then they spend points on abilities. So sometimes stat caps aren’t bad. Had a 98 overall RB with only 3 stat caps but his abilities were trash. Don’t sleep on abilities which of course we don’t control how they spend points
I redshirt every freshman unless I’m completely depleted in that position. Transfer portal covers any holes I lost charging recruiting during the season.
In my unlv dynasty, we were ranked 11th, played nc st week 4 and had a guy visiting. Beat unranked nc state 38-3 and the guy committed to no state after the game lol
In a tough spot. In year 10-11 in a dynasty with my son. My old head ass is not what I used to be. Anyway I was able to land the # 1 overall player (QB) an 81 overall star development. My senior QB is an 87 overall and I’m wondering if I should redshirt my freshman? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
I dont get this. In my copy of the game, with all patches applied, the coins vanish. So how is any of this possible? After I level up I’ll see a message saying I got N coins but then my balance is still 0.
Hard sells only work if you’re at a big school with a lot of A’s. If you’re doing a rebuild with a crappy school, most of your grades are C’s and D’s so hard selling is pointless.
Also if you're going with an architect, make sure you have as many motivators as possible. You don't need elite motivator, just tier 3 slots on base motivator. If you can stack the off-season training boosts, you're stacking the chances to break skill caps, and that's what makes your star and elite dev players with iffy caps go crazy.
The problem with the Coordinatiors is that EA messed up the logic in how they level so they will never save point to unlock new trees so the only way to get one with a secondary tree is if you sign them with it and those guys tend to start to disappear when you get 7-8 years deep
@@redbulloo7they only put points into recruiter, motivator and tactician. Now if you hire one with a different tree unlocked they will put points in that. But if you hire one with only the basic trees they will never get a different tree.
@@redbulloo7 i have found a way to get them to upgrade the other skill trees but it requires taking the hometown discount and the friends and family discount and already having one coach that has what you want and even then its still a crap shoot
Since the last patch yes, he went over it in another video especially if u use the hard sell on that week, if possible schedule another guy that makes it a complimentary visit I've found that helps a ton

@@PoodleGaming dang man that's rough because the motivator training on offseason doesn't help you especially once they build it up then you're hoping for it for the offseason but they leave before the gains can go into effect. I think they need to change when coordinators leave most of them don't leave that early in the first week of bowl season

How do you get visits so early, I cant get them until week 7 or later..same with unlocking soft/hard sell (dont really use this anyway). Mostly looking at visits though. I only play offline dynasty.

Yes, I’ve had leagues where they win the Off or Def coordinator of the year and then they leave with 1 or 2 years left on their contract. Kinda sucks especially when you finally have the coaches you need

the "TOP 3" period is too short! Why do they have it set where once a player reaches Top 3, they're one week away from committing to whoever is in the lead?!? I'd like to see Visits not be open until Top 3. Keep Hard/Soft Sell in top 5, then keep visits until you're in the Top 3. And make it where the Top 3 lasts longer than just a week!
I gotta disagree with one point. Not scouting players is a terrible idea. Why offer schollys to guys you have no idea what their ratings will look like??? You should always be scouting players you think you want yo sign. 🤷🏾♂️
I agree but also early on if your not at a big school you gotta be more intricate with your hours each weeks sometimes it's smarter to take a gamble on there star rating if it gives your more hours to have a better chance at getting a big name

Coordinators are more likely to bounce when your school is incredibly successful. Things like having a top-rated offense/defense, making the playoffs, and having a boatload of awards - which includes all-american teams - will increase the chances that someone poaches your coach. So while you can't directly stop them from leaving, you have a bit of control before you start suffering with success.
Does dev trait matter in-season in terms of putting up stats, playing, and developing during the season? Since you can technically play a redshirt in 4 games should we max that out?
Allegedly yes. If you have a high dev trait player that you want to RS, play him in the 4 games and rack up stats, then RS is the advice that people have been saying
Even when you hard sell, sometimes you loose the recruit. Game be cheating me because I'll have a big ass lead and end up losing the recruit to like Georgia or Alabama. I think if you have a big lead, you should always get the recruit.

To the advanced guys that's played the game in prior years 1. Always over recruiting. For everyone else is kind of just throwing points just so you get the recruit if the other team can't catch you and you won't sign them that week allocate your points accordingly. 3. To me is lacking realism in coaching. I want to build a coach but build them on how they are. I use Miami historically we have had shit qb since after the late 80s so I don't like maxing QB stats. We trive in the trenches linebacker and running back.(This year is an outlier) 4. Make it harder on yourself and take your Ls. (Adjust sliders) 5. Take your time. I can't emphasize this enough. Don't just go through the motions deep dive into them. 6. Establish some house rules even for yourself through recruiting playing time etc. one of mine is just recruiting inside main pipelines don't cheese the system. It's actually more challenging to put caps on yourself and be strict with your rules than building a powerhouse that wins every game.
all I ever get are dogshit assistant coach options. I've only seen once really good coach be available, was a fired HC. there needs to be a better way of viewing the ratings and dev traits. the game requires too many steps to view that information. extremely tedious when you need to look at up to 35 new players on your team. when youre a 5 star team, you should be over-recruiting and encourage a ton of transfers each year - dumping all the stat capped and Normal devs

Rule #1: Run the ball. If you start trying to run up the score with passing the CPU will get hot too.

Hard sell is most important unless your grades are not good. Then it makes more sense to keep send the house on and schedule visit early as possible.
Visits are a must, but yes those grades matter alot more now.

visits do no matter. I consistently get top 5 class with no visits. 2-5 5star and over 20 4stars everytime with at least 10 being gems
I use visits and signed 9 5 stars back to back seasons so🤷♂️

Once I get to the point of being able to hard sell, I hard sell every week and if I have additional points, I throw those on that player as well.
The VISIT thing that was updated in the latest patch affects new dynasties right? We are 3/4 the way thru year 2 in one of ours.

EA really needs to change the logic for how coordinators are generated. After 7-8 years all you find are motivators

I think you're assuming you've already got a top notch coach, you will not know the development trait until they've played a few games.
Coordinators basically suck. You lose your good one and have to fumble through trash.

Yes, I've had multiple OC/DC leave for other jobs. It seems to only happen when my team is pretty good though

Nope, unless there’s some package for it. But they usually level up and then dip every 1-2 years.
