This pack is not bad but not worth 40 Bucks, imma say it...it is sad there's only one career to boost your fame when they could have added a singing career or dance career. I mean we have comedian or influencer careers already. Why not work on them too?
because old careers will still make you famous at the higher levels.. you can be a famous chef or comedian if you are already in those careers... and if you do comedy or sing for tips you can become famous that way as well attracting more and more attention... so while you wont be performing concerts you can sorta be a famous singer as it will increase your popularity and draw in crowds around you. you can also make music from a new machine at home and sell that like authors do with books. as well as being like a youtuber sorta thing.. you can have the youtuber sorta experience with videos and video editing ect which is nice... i love the flying video drones that can follow you around recording video for you to then edit and upload which is nice.
That's hella expensive. You could buy a whole new game with it not just a DLC. I advise you to save your money until Sims 4 get famous is on sale, like I do.

It turns out that there’s a bug in the game so after your audition, don’t do any actions that require a loading screen (i.e. changing the look of your sim, leaving the lot, visiting someone, etc.). After this, the pop up to go to the gig should come up.

You could create a bunch of sims and use get together to make a group/band. You'd have to cheat skills for the NPC ones and either cheat or manually work on their fame from time to time but you could make it work .

If they come out with driving cars again including the RV (Mobile home) to wear you can live off grid and travel.. OMG! Here I am 56 yrs old I will keep playing the SIMS till I see something like this comes out... and probably after that.. I just told my son the other day I'm probably the oldest person that still plays the SIMS.. As long as they come out with new ways to play.. I will play too..
There is a bug and ea is working on it but you can’t have a loading screen before you go to a gig but if you don’t want to do that there is a mod in thefreshsims tumblr
Hey I'm currently playing as Vanessa Jeong. Auditions are fine, but when its time to go to the gig I don't get any pop up telling me to go to the studio lot *at all* and that keeps me from pursuing her acting career. It's really frustrating because I can't get her to be a famous actress if she can't act! Does anyone know what the problem could be?
@@Yasimsings6071 I've looked into it and apparently its a glitch with the famous expansion pack that some people get. I think I'm going to try switching agencies and see if that does anything next time I have a gig. Have you tried anything?

Already have this preordered and I can't wait to get my hands on it. The build/buy and cas has so many items in it and I'm really like the looking of the acting career, plus sims being able to get famous in other ways even form base game jobs. I'm pretty excited for the streaming table sinice you'll be able to be pretty much a youtuber as well as the music editing one too.

I’m experiencing some kind of bug. My character gets into make up for the gig but the task won’t complete. Is this a bug? Whenever she gets makeup done she just shakes her head and the quest won’t change. What is happening?
@@JadaD I did, it's a bit annoying though. I don't let my actor sim leave their residential lot any time between the audition and the gig. So far I've been able to go to them since trying that.
Are my sims the only ones that don't manage to go to gigs even though they pass the audition? My sim is literally standing in front of the house waiting to go to the gig and when the time comes nothing happens... and there is no "Go to work" button for me to force them to go... I'm a little worried about the glitches. We all know how often they release buggy games and leave us waiting for patches. My Dine Out still doesn't work properly. Every video I've watched about Get Famous has major game play issues and the release date is coming soon. I doubt they'll have everything fixed by then.
SCBJQ I just got the game and a glitch I experienced was when my sim was on set getting her hair and make up and costume done it wouldn’t say it was complete and I’ve done the interaction like 5 times. Also she didn’t do the scene. So I was kind of disappointed

Finally sims 4 introduces the possibility to see and controll what your sims can do while at work and it's just like real life: boring and repetitive. I hope they scrap the idea for the Sims 5.
It's not editable but I assume there's a cheat that lets you edit it just like we could edit Hospitals etc from Get to Work using a cheat / mod. Also, all of the stage props can be found in the catalogue :D

Very good review on your part. But for the game part, the active career itself will feel repeating and boring after a while just like the other active careers. But the new feature that applies to the old careers (for example you can be a famous chef) will be the real thing that benefits the whole gameplay.
My pay raise is only 4010. I'm on level 10 and my pay is still the same. I've gotten all golds and I've done only risky scenes. How can I get a pay raise?
idk if you’ve figured out the issue or not yet but it’s a glitch, try not to do any actions that require a loading screen like (planning outfits and visiting other lots) when you audition just say home and yeah till the gigs time

You can't make a band yet but you can be a singer. There's objects for recording music and producing and everything. He only showed the acting stuff.

I have a question: is the studio lot editable? If you enabled freebuild, like could you change it a bit? Not sure how I would change though to be honest, I know it changes depending on the job
Very good review on your part. But for the game part, the active career itself will feel repeating and boring after a while just like the other active careers. But the new feature that applies to the old careers (for example you can be a famous chef) will be the real thing that benefits the whole gameplay.

idk if you’ve figured out the issue or not yet but it’s a glitch, try not to do any actions that require a loading screen like (planning outfits and visiting other lots) when you audition just say home and yeah till the gigs time

You're not supposed to go to the audition with them but when you complete the audition you can go to the gig with them.
