I'm a Lieutenant with the New Orleans Police Department. I've been a Homicide Detective for 37 years and prior to that I was USAF Security Forces for 20 years. I'm retiring this year. This song is absolutely wonderful. Thank you young lady, we need more young people like this in our modern society.
Lately it's been hard to serve the public that hates you. After hard nights on the beat I listen to this song on the way home. Reminds me why I decided to serve in the 1st place. Thank you for your support!
You took the oath to serve and protect but think of the job you took yes there are people who puts you down just tell them you do my job and see what I go through I'm here to serve and protect officer just be safe and careful and some day they might appreciate you. Thumbs up. I do respect officers around the world good or bad ❤❤
Thank you for your service. Yes, there are those who dislike the police unjustly. Then there are those who confuse the fact that some are bad but plenty more of you guys are good.
Holly, thank you for this song. I spent 21+ years behind the badge. And I appreciate your support of all Peace Officers. It is heart breaking the way Peace Officers are treated today, because all they really want is Peace. Hopefully some day we will all find Peace. Thank you again for your support.
WOW!!!! What a statement from such a young soul. Thank YOU so very much for this beautiful song. I am retired, however, many of my Brothers and Sisters still ....Put The Uniform On!!! Thank you for your support!!! I haev no doubt that your family is extremely proud of you!!
I know this song was wrote for police officers but I think it could go for EMS too. My dad is an EMT and his job is just as dangerous. He's been through so much in the last 18 years of his career including dodging a bullet on a scene. I just wanna thank all the first responders and I wanna thank you for writing this song it's beautiful.
Love this song. My brother is a state police officer, father was a volunteer firefighter, cousin is an EMT, and I'll be going to the academy here shortly. Thanks for the support towards families of anyone who puts on a uniform. :) Glad to see people still support our brothers and sisters in uniform.
What a beautiful song! I am a LEO wife. My husband has been in law enforcement for 22 years, the last 15 with Missouri DOC as a SGT. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
That's excellent being there for a Law Enforcement Officer! LEOs deserve an understanding companion at home with all that sociaty needs police officers and correction officers for. Best wishes to you and your family!
Thank you for this. My wife and I are both Deputy Sheriff’s and having young people like you show and share appreciation for us means more than we can describe. Thanks to you’re father for his service. Excellent song.
Young lady this song is beautiful and so is your voice. I am a Police Officer of 15 years and this song brought tears to my eyes thank you for sharing it. I know your dad is proud of you for writing this.
When my dad is on patrol I listen to this song hopeing he will come and I love the people that helped in the hurricanes that we went through and 911 people helped people they didn’t even know so holly I love you u make me happy
Thank you Holly. This song means so much to first responders. This is the only work of yours I’ve seen, but years later (I watched it years ago), it still rings true despite the current events. Please don’t stop. If you re-released this message, I would appreciate it, and so would the rest of your fans.
My father served 40 years on the department in my hometown. He retired early due to a back injury in 2015. I started as an officer in August 2017, and I'm honored to serve the community. Beautiful song, Holly. Your words mean a lot. Thank you.
I am a Windsor citizen that respects the police in any country back in 2005 we lost an officer and still the pain is there, they put there lifes on the line to serve and protect but Holly that is so true because they still put the unform on. Thankyou

Miss Cahill I stumbled across your song today after a long hard week. I am a Deputy Sheriff, and can't tell you how much your words mean to me after how hard its been for us in Law Enforcement lately. Thank You,
Thank You for your song!! There is so much truth in your words... I have been putting the uniform on for almost 20 years now and before every shift I hit my knees and pray for the safety of myself and my team. We ALL go home, *** NO HOLES NO BRUISES ***
Wow!! Beautiful song. This hit the spot. This song is truth. Thank you to my brothers and sisters for your service. I just hit my 5 year mark in law enforcement and i love it, regardless of the crap we go through on a daily basis.
Been with the WI DOC for 2 years now and have to say this song gives me goosebumps...beautiful voice, beautiful tribute to all LEO's:..it's a priveledge to get to serve and protect people like you...makes those hard days seem not as bad
My dad is a sheriff. It's so hard not knowing if he will come home. My little sister prays and says "god please don't take my daddy". It's so hard. That put their life's at risk for strangers. I love you so much dad thank you for doing your job.
I was stuck by a dirty needle and it took three cemo like treatments to finally cure me but it ended my career of twenty five years. Your song embodies the true heart of we who are called to serve and protect. For those who must wake up after a few hours of light sleep and still put the uniform on, to those who look outside and see the pouring rain and still put the uniform on, to those who miss Christmas morning with our family and we still put the uniform on. We few know that we must do our job because it is in us, it is our driving strength We know we are needed but not wanted and we are damed glad to be called a cop. Thank you my brothers and sisters and thank you Holly for your vocal poetry that cast a beautiful light on what we do and face for, " The Job."
Holly, As a retired LEO, thank you so much! It is heartening to know there are people such as yourself that care for us. As for my brothers/sisters that are still wearing the badge, you hold the line! The pendulum will swing back! Stay safe, watch your six!

Holly, I'm not going to lie, the job of a police officer has become quite stressful in the past 10 years. Many of us feel like it's "us against them" when it comes to the public. Not only is that a horrible feeling to have each night I (we) go out on patrol, but it fills me (us) with guilt as well. Guilt because deep in our hearts we know there are police supporters out there, but because of the media and other avenues of public address, we rarely hear anything positive said about the police. It's good to know there's people out there like yourself who still believe in and support us. I appreciate this song. Thank you.
Beautiful voice and great song I was never a police officer but I was a firefighter for 7 years and I still stand by my brothers and sisters in blue every day I know what they go through I been there with them and I will always walk beside them
Well done!! and Thank you!! I am a police officer and this sums up what we do everyday!! Again Thank You and very well done!!! It is definitely appreciated!!!

I went back into Corrections and will be starting CLEET in April. This is one of the songs I use to pass the time on long slow nights. It says it all so well. My dad just sent this video to me, it's amazing! Thank you for this song! Both of my parents (as well as some cousins and uncles) are police officers. They deal with so many ungrateful people on a daily basis. My parents have lost multiple friends over the years and their lives have been threatened. Yet, they continue on everyday praying that they will be okay for another day. Thank you again.

This song is absolutely amazing. It's uplifting and extremely generous to see and hear someone who has something good to say. This means the world to myself, my daughters and all our brothers and sisters. THANK YOU! I truly wish you the best in this world. No words can describe how good this makes us in uniform feel. 😊
young lady you have a beautiful voice I'm currently working as a corrections officer at a state prison after I make my year there I'm gonna switch over to the local Sherrifs office as a deputy
jmeeks68 I’ve had my own run ins with this dude before, his english is ridiculously broken at times to the point I have to read it more than 3 times to wrap my head around it.
@Gengis Khan I know you like trolling us my guy, I simply don't care. I use my head a lot, maybe more than you if humanly possible. Some comments you make as I said before are horribly typed so it's not possible to read first or second attempt, even to a 5 year old. That's why your name is Genghis Huangdi r/funny
@Gengis Khan Defunding them if that be the case seriously isn't going to help if you want to stop them from murdering people. Just suggest a 2 year academy like Germany does.
Thank you to all the service men and women out there! I can not serve though I have always dreamed of it, but I can support y'all so thank y'all for all y'all do y'all are all amazing and perfect.

This song is absolutely amazing. It's uplifting and extremely generous to see and hear someone who has something good to say. This means the world to myself, my daughters and all our brothers and sisters. THANK YOU! I truly wish you the best in this world. No words can describe how good this makes us in uniform feel. 😊

Gengis Khan I do not understand your comment
jmeeks68 I’ve had my own run ins with this dude before, his english is ridiculously broken at times to the point I have to read it more than 3 times to wrap my head around it.
@Gengis Khan I know you like trolling us my guy, I simply don't care. I use my head a lot, maybe more than you if humanly possible.
Some comments you make as I said before are horribly typed so it's not possible to read first or second attempt, even to a 5 year old.
That's why your name is Genghis Huangdi
r/funny
@Gengis Khan That's how the earth has been but ya' know, shit tends to happen in mysterious ways.
@Gengis Khan Defunding them if that be the case seriously isn't going to help if you want to stop them from murdering people. Just suggest a 2 year academy like Germany does.
