My husband, his daughter and her husband are police officers. I don't think most understand the sacrifices they and their families make each day they walk out that door to protect even those who hate them. The one the arrest today may be the very life they save tomorrow. Thank you, a beautiful song .💕
I may only be 13 years old, but I support the thin blue line HEAVILY. This song brought tears to my eyes as my uncle was a deputy sheriff for 12 years. I not only respect them and this song, but honor them, too. o7 to those who have passed along in the line of duty, and thank you for those who are still risking their lives for us, it is tough in the world right now and ya'll are not getting the respect you need. But I am here to say I appreciate all officers in the world. Thank you all for your service. God bless you all and may he be with you.
Wow, I’m here 5 years later. That means your 18 or going to be. Your an amazing person. When we need help, they are the first to help. They deal with all us at are worst of times. I’m so thankful for police. 💙
I'm not an officer, But I do hope that all officers out there know that there are still people who love you. I am so thankful for what the police have done for this country. I thank every Officer out there for the service they have done. I love you all!
That is a beautiful song that will bring anyone to tears. Thank you brittney for doing the song and paying respect to all officers everywhere. To the officers all over the world thank you for protecting all of us
With one son who is a deputy sheriff and another who will be in law enforcement when he is done in the military, I cried listening to this. How could I not?
For those that were asking for the lyrics: "You made a oath and took a vow. To protect and serve you made us proud. But you don't do it for the money, do ya? Late at night as people sleep, You roam your city and protect your streets. And to yourself you whispered Hallelujah. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah! That voice comes over the radio, And you just know that you need to go, But you don't really know what's coming, do ya? You grab your gun, boots hit the ground. And sirens are the only sounds Your weary soul was crying hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah! You call for help cause' you hear a shot, Your partner is in a dangerous spot, But you keep running towards him now do ya? Your brother falls down to the ground, The enemy is all around, And to God you scream out hallelujah Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah! You fought the fight til it was done, And thankfully, this time you won. You've given as much as you could now, didn't ya? You fall to the ground and start to pray, From all the madness from today, So, take your place of honor, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah"
I just want to say my dad was in the military, and yes he is alive, but I do thank you for making both a military and a police song. I have friend's that are police officers, and I hope to one day become a police officer myself. Your a great person, and I do hope you keep making videos. You do have a very lovely voice.
My Father was a Police Officer long ago things weren't like they are not...To see someone take a Beautiful and turn it into something to honor them is Amazing...They risk everything and there are things that go on that we has people don't see or hear about.....I Praise them all..Be safe come home to your Family every Night...
Hi from Australia Brittney, I saw you post on fb/RUclips and watched it. As a serving New South Wales Police officer it brought a tear to my eye. Thank You very much, it is very touching.
Thank you. I have a son and daughter who are police officers. I also have a close friend who is one to. I have already shared your video with them. This choked me up and brought tears to my eyes. You have a marvelous voice!
Made me cry my grandpa, great aunt, father, uncle all Retired Sergeants with la county sheriffs. I have cousin in alameda county California correctional deputies and a cousin Ret from El Paso Texas. Thank you for that song.
Cops do their best to protect and serve. And would say that exact same shit about Military? Because the military kill women and children, but they are following order's to do it. COPS follow order's as well, and if people actually treated the cops like human beings and everything unlike a lot of people do not just black's or poor people, but white's, Asians, Japanese, Chinese. Everyone disrespects cops at some point, and if they didn't disrespect cops then maybe they wouldn't of been treated like they were by the cops. So before you even say that there is EVIDENT police brutality and cops killing blacks, and poor people just because they're black and poor maybe you should get all the facts first, and not just go by what the hell the news says. Because whose to say the people that the cops SUPPOSIBLY abused, and killed that were blacks and poor maybe they shoot at someone, and got rid of the gun, but do you see that on the news no. SO get the facts first before YOU EVER and I mean EVER say stupid shit like you did man.
Yes I am talking about US cops, because in the US a lot of people kill cops for doing their jobs, and all that and yeah. It's sickening, and even when people don't kill cops they still disrespect them on so many levels.
Thank you for making this police version. My brother was a police officer and died while on duty. With all the people against police lately I'm glad to see someone come out for them. I must admit it was a hard song for me to listen to and not tear up thank you again for this song
a beautiful reworking of an amazing song... it brings tears to my eyes to see people supporting those who are out there every day protecting us... i know as a civillian that i appreciate the hard work and sacrifice these people make for us while we are at home... once again, thank you!
Its so sad people made are country go thro that. It’s those same people who are regretting it in the cities today. To be a Police Officer, you have to be a special breed of person. Just no you were NEVER hated by me and the people who hated you were the few. The few were louder tho. I hope you were able to move on. Thank You for your Sevice. 💙
Brittney that was one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard my husband died in 911 this means a lot to me thank you for doing this video that made me cry but I thought about him in my sleep and I could not have made that possible without you thank you for supporting the police family 😊
Thank you for this beautiful and uniquely "blue" version. It struck me as I heard this that I was listening to the spouse's perspective and how closely it intertwines with a LEO's perspective. Those that love us and stand by us are just as emotionally involved in our daily routines as we are. Love the song - you have a wonderful voice.
Brittney, that was beautiful. It is a thankless job unfortunately. I don't understand what happened to respect in our country. I pray for all first responders everyday. GOD BLESS!
i love videos like as a police officer for nine years i know that there are people who still support us so from me and my brother's and sisters in blue we thank you for all of your support thank you and keep supporting the thin blue line and lovely voice

Wow. As an officer you just created a "highlight reel" in my head. Some good...some..well not so good. Won't lie. Shed some tears. The fact that you remind me of my daughter makes it hit even harder.
Just remember, under the uniform is a regular human being, with a family, friends and children. No different than anyone else. The only difference is they run toward things that most people run away from. Anyways Love this video....❤
Your voice is beautiful and this is one of my favorite songs. Your words are great! My husband is a retired officer (hurt in the line of duty) so I know first hand the struggles they all face. Thank you for the beautiful song.

This song is great. Thanks for this from a police officer from Munich/ Germany. We're all brothers in arms...
Amen
@Roy Dunn she meant that she put a police tribute to the song instead of the actual words from the original hallelujah by Leonard Cohen...10-4 out!
My Father was a Police Officer long ago things weren't like they are not...To see someone take a Beautiful and turn it into something to honor them is Amazing...They risk everything and there are things that go on that we has people don't see or hear about.....I Praise them all..Be safe come home to your Family every Night...

Very great song, and I am glad someone finally made one for the police, because the police do deserve a lot of respect for everything they do.
