I am torn between the 17VS-C and the 17VS-E with the conveyor option. I love the idea of a 10 HP motor instead of gas but I couldn’t very easily haul the E to a friends house to split wood unless he had a 50 amp, 240v circuit conveniently located where we wanted to use the splitter. The reality is that 95-98% of the time it would be used on my property. I guess another benefit is if someone wanted to borrow it I could say “unless you have a circuit for it, it won’t work at your house…sorry!”

I looked at both. I bought the wolferidge conveyor model. Actually the unit at the show. Chris wolfe had another show he wanted to take it to. It should be arriving at my house in the next week of so. Ive purchased 4 splitters and 2 conveyors from wolferidge. Great company to deal with.

Split force is amazing.. owned one since 2018.. wouldnt buy anything else for how productive it is.

Hi Phil, I would buy neither. In my opinion they are too bulky, too awkward, too much maintenance and require a large space for storage. Something small, fast and great maneuverability is far more supreme.
