Lawyers can set up a deal to make it legal, apparently. Woman #1 sold her story to the national enquirer, who sold it to Trump, but this is Woman #2. When Trump gets convicted of a felony then he'll have to give a DNA sample, and then there is no telling what crimes he could be liked to.

Trump said he wouldn’t enforce the NDA when Daniels challenged it in court, as Trump did not want to be deposed for the trial. So basically she called his bluff
@@thl205 problem is trump had better advisors. Whether or not he would enforce it is irrelevant because her big mouth would always put him in position to have leverage. I didn't pass the bar but there's a thing in law called ESTOPPEL which can mean many things but in the case between trump and stormy daniels it simply means once the money is exchanged, therefore, the deal is done. She's opening said trump gave her money to stay quiet, she took that money to stay quiet and since she admitted it the deal was done. It's usually used in real estate cases where you agree to sell a property to someone and it's to prevent someone from backing out of a deal when you invested in selling the place. Again I'm not a lawyer I expect someone to say well actually you're wrong. Hopefully they are insightful because I know estoppel probably is playing a role here in this case
It exists because if you agree to sell something like a property and you rely on that deal to your detriment it could be devastating. Like if you were going to sell your home for idk 1 million dollars and start a new life in another state and would buy a new home with the money you were going to make from selling your home you'd be out of luck if at the 11th hour the buyer got cold feet. Again not all contracts need to be written although it's wise to have all contracts written. It's not everyday you'll make deals with people like sloppy daniels who are going to play themselves so in real life try to have all your deals written or have receipts when giving people money for services
