After almost 2 years I do luv this mixer...
Hey, thinking about buying this one. Is the phono gain really such a big problem? Read online somewhere that u have to put the audio output really loud when u play vinyls. That makes me undecided between the Rane70 and the Reloop Elite
The gain is working properly as u would expert in a dj mixer, no problms according 2 me...
@@mucktown Hi mate, one of my pad doesn't work anymore so I am changing my opinion about the elite, so I am thinking to buy a second hand mixer...
One the best reviews ever!!!
Great vid, keep the reviews coming.... Better than most on RUclips.
I'm going reloop, giving it a shot! These vids have helped. I've had Rane and Technics as the mainstay... intrigued by all the options with Reloop.
Thanks! We have more vids coming and on a number of different products. Also keep our store in mind. www.deckademics.com/shop
@@nicksaligoe4864 I do have this mixer now and wanted to let you know, you can tap in the bpm (shift>tap hold) for analog vinyl. The serato effects work on vinyl... pretty cool hidden feature.
Yes Bro same here, they killed it , i just ordered it, can't wait!
extremely helpful. Thank you!
Should I get this or the rane 70
Good review. Perhaps I missed, is it solid? Does it feel heavy and steel? Or cheap plastic?
It has a good metal feel to it with plastic faders.
According 2 me it’s maybe more fragile than a rane mixer the faders rocks and they’re solid. So no probs 4 me
can you review the 70 and compare it to this in the near future?
many thanks
This is what I would love to see!
We're working on it. We're actually still waiting on a shipment from Rane but the Covid situation has slowed shipping down quite a bit. Waiting on new ETA but that's our priority once the 70s arrive. Thanks for tuning in!
but just in case you hadn't, make sure you subscribe so you'll get the update once we post the 70 review. Thanks!
@DJ VB thanks, for the input. I scratch on vinyl, mix mostly in DVS but that is a good feature,

can this add effect post-fader or is it locked to pre-fader?
The breaking news on this one: claims are that this- combined with "djay algoriddim"- provides the zero-latency that scratch DJs have been looking for ever since the move away from vinyl. Apparently none of the Rane's achieve this.... If you're doing super technical scratching, it would probably drive you nuts to have any latency. I still haven't been able to leave vinyl because I've been waiting for this to be fixed....Guess I'll give this a try. But now that it's been out for a few years I'm wondering if it's just gonna be replaced soon, and I should just wait?
Is it the top of the line mixer? No. Is it still a great mixer? Yes. It doesn't have any of the mentioned latency and is unique compared to the newest Pioneer and Rane mixers. It's hard to say whether or not you should wait though. Pioneer and Rane crank out mixers much quicker than Reloop so its hard to judge when we should be expecting something new from Reloop.
Can I use this with vinyl, and all the technology and effects that this unit has with vinyl as well?
The tweak FX is still useable, but in order to use Serato FX, you have to have your computer plugged in no matter the source of your audio
Does the reloop elite have Transport mode? Or can it be mapped/enabled for transport mode?
Yes, this mixer has transport mode. It's a shift layer when pressing the loop roll+shift button.
does anybody know how this compares against the s119(BESIDES THE SCRATCH BANK&SCREEN)
Did you happen to check out our Pioneer S11 review as well? Might be some helpful info there for you. Is there anything specific you're curious about?
@@Deckademics yes im curious about the innofader as oppose to the mag 4
@@Deckademics mag pro i mean
@@junyah1976 it’s really a preference thing. Both faders will work for a long time and should stand up to vigorous use. The Pio has a tension adjust that the Reloop does not, but otherwise, the faders are operationally identical imho
Go head nap town.
