This is a fix for the "Radeon settings and driver version do not match" error.

thank u bro the changing another drivers from the list works. and the funny thing is that the version number is exactly the same as yours. but i have a question if i pick a list of drivers from my computer wouldn't it not run to its fullest potential because im using an old driver?

Shouldn't do, these updates are generally just bug fixes with new features only occasionally. If you feel you are missing out on content you could do a clean reinstall as I explained in a reply to @ニコぁすあーんテョンよ! Download a program called CCLeaner www.ccleaner.com/ and download the free version. Go to the tools tab in CCleaner and click the uninstall tab at the top where you can select AMD Software and uninstall it. Then go to www.amd.com/en/support and click download, this will download the correct drivers for you. Once downloaded you just need to run the installer and when you get the option, select "factory reset" which will reset your radeon settings but should replace all old Radeon software files leaving no corrupt files behind. (Fingers crossed) 🤞

Best way I've found is to remove all instances of the software in (older versions as well) and completely re-install the latest version of the software from AMD's website. When the installer opens check the factory reset box and it will install from scratch not being hindered by any missing or corrupted files. Hope this helps! ;)

you can update the driver, radeon software requires a corresponding driver version to work if you update one and not the other, you will get this problem. The reason the problem occurs is usually due to windows auto-updating your driver and not the radeon software.
