Are you good with ktm? I have a problem with my 690 i bought. its from 2012 and the pre-owner states it have EVO 1 map on it. It have EVO 1 airbox with foam filter and LeVince Slipon. The bike runs really bad without the DB killer. it dies on idle, pops and bangs on lower revs and runs rough on low speed with twitchy response on the gas. When i put the DB killer in the slipon the bike runs great with good idle and not twitchy. What can be the problem? is the back pressure to low? is the mapping wrong? I want to be able to run without DB killer but i cant do it at the moment. I have changed spark plug and the coil (the tip was gray/white) I have changed fuel filter, Inline fuel filter, fuel pump. the next thing muste be the mapping?
I had the same problem, with the db killer the engine runs much nicer and doesn't shut down. It is necessary to add more fuel to the mapping. Everything is explained in the video.

Yes remove air filer cover and put evo 1 filter cover or make few holes in stock one. SAI (SAS) Secondary Air System, will pump air in your exhaust to cold catalyst (on stock exhaust), most custom exhaust dont use this so you dont need anymore SAI (SAS) turned on, and O2 sensor is for fuel/air mixture and it will lean your mixture so its better to turn off your bike will run better.

You cant use "any" maps for your bike, it must be correct maps or you can damage engine. First connect your bike and read maps then you will know what maps you have now ( stock or Restricted power). Do you have any mods on bike like exhaust or open air filter ?

Download stock maps from bike and you can try to modify in tuneecu to unlock all power. FI map should be same in "stock" and in "Restricted power map". But EP map is different. Full Power map has 100% on end and restricted has only about 35% maximum. I suggest you to leave Restricted on Standard setting, and make Full Power on Performance, so you can switch to full power and back to restricted with one turn under your seat.
If your bike is full stock, then you need use maps for stock exhaust. That is all what you need to do if you have now "Restricted power maps". Just connect your bike with TuneECU and see what maps you have now.
I should also add that that the engine isn't running good. When I releas the gas to shift gear the engine dies. Can I get rid of this problem with a new mapp?

yeah, I don't have DB killer in that. is that the problem actually.I cantt find the map switch under the seat. after installing a DB do i deen to adjust TPS voltage for factory.( 0.50-0.54V)
You CAN modify the data in another way. there are two nearly simmilar ways to do this. With a litte "Black-Box" called "Kastl" from an Austrian Enthusiast, or the PCV. Look for both at Google
all is possible but dont play with that it to much dangerous. If you want to tune your bike much more than remap get power commander and quick shifter. But i think best mod for this bike is exhaust + open air filter cover + remap all other is to much money.
AFF Racing Team - Damir they sell Programmable Racing ECU for KTM DUKE 200 in India but mucho dinero $$$, there must be a way to map the ECU with a wire like this dude. KTM dealers here in Turkey are idiots, I know more about my bike than my dealer...

First you need read maps from your bike to see what you have, because i cant find 2014 maps. Maybe older maps will also work with your bike, but i cant guarantee that, if have time visit your local ktm dealer or make phone call.

Some diagnostic cables are not good, if you have connector on your bike it must work just get great quality cables,
