According to the Los Angelos Public Library, the book “The Fault in our Stars” is described like this. “The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is a young adult fiction novel that narrates the story of a 16-year-old girl who is diagnosed with cancer. She joins a support group where she meets Augustus, and there is a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this novel as the relationship between Hazel and Augustus develops. Hazel and Augustus are able to find comfort in each other through the tough times and learn to lean into each other which makes them both realize that they are not alone. They find love in each other and feel hopeful for each other, also while allowing the readers to learn about their inner struggles.”
you can also incorporate some of these in arm workouts. When doing curls bend your wrists towards your forearm and do that through your workout (do with light weight and work up)
Instead of possibly ripping your tendon with the wrapped thumb stretch you can do wrist curls and it works with every day items since anyone who doesn’t have a gym at their disposal arent wrist curling more than a few kgs anyways so grocery bags work well.

okay, folks, I'm on my way to become an assassin
As someone who regularly pinched 15 packs of beer for work with small hands, I can confirm that your forearms will become larger if you do this alot
packs of 15 or 15 six packs?
yooo i was stressed out about how to make my fore arm big, but then this is comes up, thank god you show me the best method that no one ever told, you earn a follow
Dude definitely has the best sleeper built
His girl has a build that sleeps 💀
Yoooo Are you reading the book "the fault in our stars"?? Me too! Its a really cool book, I almost cried at chapter 2.
Fr
I was bawling
@@emmawoodruff8042 I lied, that book is fucking awful.
Dude the book- YES see I have done that exercise 8888888888 times! And I’m so glad that’s the book u picked up! It’s amazing!!!
Yo the one with the thumb gripped with other fingers is really dangerous if you do it in a wrong direction or fast coz u can snap the thumb tendon or whatever. So be careful with this one.
Ouch
Thats... literally why he tells you to stop at pain
@@justyouraveragehumanbeing7411 Bro theres no pain if you do it wrong and fast, it just insta snaps. He says stop at pain because it means that your stretching already (which yes, also prevents injury), like in all vids. Doing it in the wrong way will also give you lesser results (thats if you dont injure yourself first).
do you have a source? i tried finding it but cant find anything
pretty sure that's just a meme
I needed this so bad,. I've always had weak fingers. Thank you!!!!
Any updates on how your grip is now?
@@nerfmarioluigi5589 forgot to do it
i like to do alot of massage with my close friends, and lately my arm strength has been really struggling with it, because most of the stuff that lets you be more gentle is harder on your hands and grip strength
so thank you so much
Me while holding my phone near a balcony:
nice john green shout out
Also the tennis ball grip! You grab it and squeeze it with all your fingers. An advice from an old rock climber, been doing this since I started climbing it is very efficient!
Thaaanks I'mma need that for my RDL in the gym. I cant progress in weight because my wrists/grip cant handle the weight. So thanks
i like how he's not showing you how to get ripped but rather to just incrase your strenght
incrase
stenght
Being ripped is a byproduct of increasing your strength.
Dude as a martial artist I’d like you to try the rice bucket workout, it a lot of fun, a little messy, but cheap too, that in its own right will increase a lot too😂❤
Don't do the thing with the wrist for the forearm because you have a high chance of breaking the tendon between your thumb and your wrist. Trust me, one of the top 3 worst feelings you could ever experience
Oof, now I'm scared
Notice how he said stay away from pain if your care duo you'll be fine 😒
@@AlexiaHausmannLexi he did not say "stay away from it", he said "you will be fine" which you won't be. It pulls the tendon and hurts for a reason lol...
@@nikchas he did not say that youll be fine but you probably will be because tendons can be strechted and thats his whole idea to stay flexy
@@nikchas and clearly he is an expert so like let him do his job
The close hand thing gives me so much anxiety knowing that you can break your thumb ligament by doing something very similar
Exactly what I thought. Going to skip that one...
For real like there’s no way that can actually train something right??
I learn so much with you! Thank you
Now I can save my friend when he's hanging off of a cliff in weird dilemmas 😶
Ayo that sounds kinda sus....
I honestly thought he was about to do a fake video on how to shatter your thumb when he said put your thumb in your grip.
Cool! I'll do these. I already have 100 ftlb grip strength left over from pole fitness but I could use improvement in my open hand grip. Thank you for your helpful videos!
That moment when you fuck up the second exercise and break your tendon
"man, that second one doesnt look too tough"
_does it once_
"ow, ouch, okay, maybe i need to do more of these."
It’s also a great way to tear a tendon
actually the opposite, don't do them
Thank you so much for this! I hate grip training gadgets.
Stay flexy. Stay sexy. New motto, love it! 😆
"one exercise to do over and over again"
*opens and closes fridge*
Do you have a camera in my house
I also gained alot of grip by simply doing deadhangs daily, not only do you gain a stronger forearm but you also get the best spine stretch
I can not be the only person here with a dirty mind while watching this. 😭😭
Ur not
Lol
pov: you’re doing the second one rn cuz yeh
I love your kitchen.
"ok so for this grip you wanna barely avoid snapping your thumb ligament"
I see you've picked a proper girlfriend/wife. Be careful, and don't destroy her by getting into bodybuilding. It would be awful if you became a huge dude and crushed her. ;)
Personally, I use towel curls and hangs.
I will keep that in mind! 😂😂 also towel curls and hangs are YES.
😂😂😂
Creepy...
?
@@jmassagetherapist6773 he's just joking
The fault in our stars!!!! I love that book!
I was wondering what was that cute panda 🐼 doing in the background ♥️
I got a lotta practice in that closed grip 😂😂😂
One thing that seriously helped me was taking a long towel, draping it over a pull up bar, bunching it up and trying to hold onto that to support my weight. At first you're lucky to hold it for more than a second but I was able to hang for 60 seconds after only a month.
Bro wanted his GF to increase her grip strength.
Bro why did she just appear like a girl from a horror movie wtf
I have literally NEVER stretched my thumb that way and worked so well! It's a crazy way to make a fist, so the thougyt never occurred to me, after years hand stretches...😅 The more you know! Thank you for all the helpful content!
I've been doing your stretches and feel great about it.
It worked! Thank you very much. Really a nice tutorial
My grip strength is 12 (minimum for my age and sex should be 25) no physical therapist has ever given me something so useful
This is so wholesome
Dead hangs improved my grip and overall forearm strength and size insanely. Using towels to dead hang hits the gripping strength really well
great video, love the idea of different exercises for the same muscle group
Sat in my truck as km loading thinking that thumb thing looks buck shee. I was very wrong, my forearms are pumping 😂😂. Crazy how.easy that is bro. Thank you.
Wrists extensors and flexors really participate to a great grip because ppl dont know the muscular insertion. Yeah it goes to forarms but also into your fingers. Everything is connected, that s the beauty.
The last exercice is Gold.
Love the content man. Going to implement a lot of what you show into my daily life. Longevity is key!
i think this guy could be stronger than other professional gymmers out there
Damn, man. Your stuff - chefs kiss!
Nice, exactly what I need... thanks David
So much charisma!!!!!
you can also incorporate some of these in arm workouts. When doing curls bend your wrists towards your forearm and do that through your workout (do with light weight and work up)
I love seeing your wife in your videos. Wholesome
They look like the cutest couple I've ever seen and also, great video!
i was in percussion for several years so this is actually one of the things i’m already trained in!
Thanks I actually was looking for a way to work on my forearms and grip strength for motorcycling.
Dead hang can help, even slowly pulling up really works the grip
Broo I'm currently in the midst of reading that book hahaha. 😮😮😮 It's been really good soo far
John Green is last of favorites and kind of in appropriate reading for the ages he puts for
I’m convinced you’d be an amazing rock climber
Instead of possibly ripping your tendon with the wrapped thumb stretch you can do wrist curls and it works with every day items since anyone who doesn’t have a gym at their disposal arent wrist curling more than a few kgs anyways so grocery bags work well.
it was the john green book for me
