AllPowers is a name brand. The problem is that they are destroying what little they have of their "name" and their "brand". And for the record, Bluetti and EcoFlow may be considered "name brands" but their customer support is almost non-existent at times any marginally better than the worst. The best combination of customer service and performance IMO is Anker.
@@YouLookinAtMe-Bro I had a solar charge plug xt60 go out and I couldn’t feed power to unit. It was a month old. They sent a new unit back in no time and even sent a prepaid fedex shipping label. Ecoflow was a joy to deal with
I bought an R3500 and it's bms died just after I was unable to return for a refund. I got in contact with them and they sent me another and a prepayed return label. Guess what happened to the second one? Yup, quit charging. They sent me a another return label, refunded me 400 bucks and said they would send me an R2500. Can't wait to see what happens to this one...
The original Allpowers 288 from 2019 only lasted until maybe 2021, and certainly only did maybe 10 complete charge cycles. Have two of their smaller 154wh models that I use to charge phones at camp, and that’s about it. They do okay, but I won’t be upset when they kick it. Finally buying into EcoFlow and am hopeful that will work for my needs.
Thank you for and honest review regardless of the outcome, more reviews should be this way. It is not always easy being honest about a product where the results are not good. It is easier to just give a good review so that more companies will wont you to review their products, knowing that your opinion can be brought. Those companies that are honest about their products shouldn't be concerned about buying a good review, but should be concerned about putting out a product that people can rely on and does what they advertise it to do. Again thank you for your honesty, 🙂
Great hearing someone venting this stuff out! Hopefully one day people drive less for a quick buck and more for a satisfying way to live that happens to make a living at the same time. Great vids, and appreciate the testing/research 🤜🤛
I have the AllPowers S1500, no one has paid me a dime for it or anything and it is awesome. Its intended purpose for me was a backup power supply for my home office that I could occasionally take camping. Plenty of power.
I believe this video is about specs vs reality of what you get, and how far off/on the advertised specs are. This doesn't mean it will not meet "your" needs. However, if your needs are closer to the specs they claim, one could be disappointed.
I got the R2500 i mean, it's working fine, but i don't belive what they are telling us it has 2016 WH, so i could be buying from someone else instead that are having higher efficiency. Would not recommend Allpower. Same thing for the solar panels. I was buying 400W SP037 i have once got it higher then 300W few seconds otherwise it's normally at 235W or at the best 275W again i would be buying foldable solar panel from someone else. These companies need too learn and test their own products more. I hate that they are only test these solar panels in labs and not in real-world so they can clame under the absolutly best condictions it can perform 400W, but in real-world never happends. And then also never testing the power station either. Why not? I have learned so much by doing that specially toward an emergency i know approximately how long i can keep it up for the refrigerator and other things.
Thank you for the honest review! It's refreshing to see transparency in product testing, especially when results aren't as expected. Keep up the great work! 👍🌟

I have a ton of power stations of various brands and, honestly, every single one has its quirks. Some are better than others, but they all have quirks. Fortunately as an EE I can actually go in and fix most of the issues. For example, the biggest power station I have is an Oukitel P2001 and it had two serious issues. First it overheated at low AC output levels due to the fans not ramping up soon enough. And second, the idiots reversed the HOT and the NEUTRAL on the AC output plugs. So if you plug it into the wall to charge from AC, the utility HOT will be on the power station's output plug's NEUTRAL and vise versa. Dealing with the fan issue was easy, I just paralleled a resistor onto the temperature sensor contacts (which makes the unit think that it is hotter than it actually is, thus turns thew fans on earlier). Dealing with the reversed HOT and NEUTRAL took a lot more effort because getting to the plug assembly required disassembling the entire case. -- Other quirks (on other power station brands) include having DC12V output voltages that are too low (12.8V or lower is too low, the output voltage has to be 13.2V and 13.8V is even better). When a power station's DC output isn't even recognized as a vehicle power port to another power station's DC input, or even a small load causes the voltage to drop below the low-voltage cutoff of the receiving unit, you know there's a problem. Or not dealing with USB-C ports already plugged in. Or not automatically starting to recharge in the morning when the sun comes out if the unit was depleted overnight. Or having a timeout on the AC output port that cannot be disabled. Or any number of other annoying quirks and issues. Beyond that, I've found that I really don't need big honking power stations anyway. My favorite is the mid-range 500Wh/500W power stations, like the Bluetti EB55. Or smaller. EcoFlow and Bluetti both seem to have good offerings. Extending the capacity of a small power station can be done cheaply simply with an external LiFePO4 battery (an external discrete system)... just feeding 12VDC or 24VDC from the more economical discrete system into the power station's "solar" input solves the capacity problem. These days, for the most part, I just throw things together with discrete parts rather than use power stations. Its a whole lot more reliable and efficient. A little 12.8V LiFepO4 battery plus a Victron 75/15 charge controller, fed from a DC19V USB-C adapter, for example, makes for a great little 12VDC UPS. -Matt
I wish this video existed before I purchased an allpowers r4000 last year. It works but I have constant issues with it. The battery size isn't the size they stated. DC power will just randomly quit. It doesn't register wattage utilized on the DC side so the BMS is never accurate with battery percentage left. Itll just die. I have reached out to technical support and it feels like it's their goal to just give me the run around and not actually just fix the stupid issue. They even stated their app doesn't work remotely when I can clearly manage the unit in the app at another location. The support ticket literally turned into them telling me I'm wrong and it's not supported. Never ever again will I buy an allpowers product.
DIY battery with all in one inverters have got to the point that none of these “power stations “ make sense unless portability is the primary factor and in the smallest capacities. Delta Pro is probably the best choice but if you want 3 KWH or more battery,it’s really no longer a one hand carry device.
I just bought a Pecron LFP1500 weeks ago, it failed. My oupes mega 3 screen,IoT & 12v out died after less than 6 months. My oupes 1800- the inverter fried after 5 months. Allpowers R1500 failed right out of the box. My ecoflow river 2 USBC intermittently works when it wants to. Bluetti B230 less than a yr old wont hold a charge after 24hr of being off - the quailty control on all the brands are total shit.
Even "name brand" companies have shady practices with these. Try getting service work on a second hand power station. If you aren't the original purchaser you may be screwed.
i really appreciate you talking about the moral aspect of reviews. over the years, ive just felt gutted over the fact that you can no longer just go to youtube and get REAL assessments.... i mean, you CAN, but only IF you know where to look and who to trust. so instead of just researching a product, you have to research the reviewer!! most of us just want a heads up on good/vs bad because we aren't in balls deep on a certain top or device and are just trying to get started, via a rec from someone who DOES know stuff. so thank you for that rant. felt that in my bones. real talk. (i knew from years back that in the jackery vs bluetti stuff, that you could have things that appeared great but could have limitations that would be a dealbreaker. but sometimes it depends on what those things might be for YOU. there isn't necessarily one best one out of all. back then it was deemed jackery was the better buy, but the product design and look and stuff bluetti totally won. but these days... idk even what to think. you have amazon reviews saying bluetti is awesome and then you have ones that say customer service is a wasteland. but jackery isn't necessarily better. i hear that they $$$ inflate prices for what you are getting, and other stuff. theeeeen you have other brands, and it's hard to say which are considered name brand. MAYBE ecoflow? i can't tell if it IS, or if it's just a common cheap one that's hyped. then anker i guess is name brand but i can't find really if it's considered good or a staple brand. so in summary.... even if you DO research....... look for reviews, YT and online.... it can be hard to gain any ground. hard to figure out what really IS a namebrand.... etc etc. and having disingenuous product reviews only adds to that and it sucks.)
They all have there issues jackrey, blueyuiti, eco flow. The thing is reviewers get them free they over look flaws that a paying customer won't. They review so many that long term testing and longevity dont get talk about most customer buying power station think that a 100 watts will run cpaps and other things. A 100 watts to 300 watts power station is a glorified power bank. U need a gas generator, few solor panels 100 watts ones minimum . Power banks, batteries power devices, phone, tablet, laptop, projector ect.. u also need different sized power stations. Solor panels, power stations and power banks most people lack knowledge of there needs and backs up on backs up.
Unfortunately I didn’t see your previous video. I was stupid to buy an R3500. The most useless thing I’ve ever purchased. I managed to get it replaced by eBay seller. The second one died similar to the first one within the first week. And yes I fell for the all the positive videos and you’re so right, I’ve also heard nothing back as I want to either replace it for a third one or my money back. I will be fighting this all the way.
I will confess that I have bought several AllPowers power stations, one S300, a S200 and a couple of the S2000 Pros. They are OK, but not in the same league as my EcoFlows. I have been slowly replacing the AllPowers with EcoFlows as UPS, but I will keep my AllPowers for emergencies.
I reviewed some of their product. Was not paid for it, it was a free sample which makes no difference to me. The specific cheaper S2000 V2 unit I reviewed was perfectly fine. Everything worked as it should during load testing, it passed without issue. Does not forgive them for your findings on that part number. Not cool.
Hey, I follow you on RUclips and have a question about a setup that I’m doing. I’m hoping you give me some input… I have a passenger van that I’ve converted into a mobile studio. I need a powerstation to provide power to lights and possibly a monitor and computer. Initially I will not have solar panel on the roof and will taking inside to charge when need. I’ve been watching videos on all the brands. I’m looking at options between 2000 and 2500 wh. I’ll be using about 270 to 350w at any giving time. Looking at Jackery, Ecoflow, Anker and Davison 2300 to be exact. I didn’t anything on you channel about this one.
My R600 slowly broke, first no bluetooth, then no charging on top, then solar input broke (it was super tight connection, fixed it myself), then would randomly go from 75% to 0 randomly. Now I'm just running it hard until it completely breaks, outlets and USB still work.
I like how you didn't even review it lol When I bought an expensive Bluetti and then found cheaper sogens on Amazon with "the same" specs I was annoyed, until I saw some reviews! Also the Bluetti I got has had it's price slashed, but those "cheaper" ones still cost the same!
You are pressing the Ac button for 3 seconds no wonder WIFI is not turning on for you. I have no issues with WIFI turning on. Charging speeds at set though the app so no wonder you are not getting 1500 Watts charging. I agree the 110V is a bummer where you can't get the full output but this is the older version of the unit. The newer version has 120V output. Also the efficiently I get is about 85%. Have to cycle the unit like 3 times before you get proper efficiency
Do you have any experience with the new Goal Zero Yetis? I think they're on the 6th generation, but my 700 seems to be better on paper than in actuality.
Just found your channel and I've binged it today looking for one thing but apparently Bluetti doesn't want you to test the AC180 or 200 because they know what you will say. And the AC 180 is the model I have.
Interesting, I didn't expect much from the brand, but the reviews were good (spring 24). We bought this unit with their 400w solar panel and haven't had any issues with it other than it's a little loud. I was skeptical, but the reviews were good. We used it at a festival in the Colorado heat without any issues. We bought some refurbished units from EcoFlow and have had nothing but problems. They are always willing to ship another but expect the other unit returned. These things weigh 100lbs and are a beast. Their CS seems to be in China, but I'm unsure of that. I'd say stay away from AllPowers even though I haven't had a problem, yet.
Any chance you'll do a review of the Ecoflow 12v 100ah battery. Would love to know if the extra cost over batteries like the Li Time is worth it. So far haven't really seen a review on RUclips yet.
Thats to bad about the larger allpowers, I was hoping to test one. my R600 299wh is a little beast for 250 bucks CAD. ran my window AC 460w till dead, and was around 85% efficient gout around 30 min run time on it. O and I believe its the usb button that turns bluetooth or wifi on, at least thats the case with mine.
AllPowers make pretty good solar panels. Sometimes companies want to expand their business, but have not clue how to actually expand their business. Just rebranding a "white label" power station is not the way to go unless you are using Tier 1 product like Jackery, EcoFlow, Bluetti. Those companies are not going to just give their R&D away.
I remember when Jackery power stations first came out years ago. Every single video on youtbe was sponsored. Today there's BougeRV 12v refrigerators and all videos of them are also sponsored. Stay away from mass sponsored items.
I get where you are coming from on fads that are more like scams. Just had the third metal garden hose I have purchased fail on me, this time I went to the reviews on Amazon and looked for one that doesn't fail and they ALL have pictures of them unraveling or leaking internally. I do want a good Solar Charger, but even if I picked just one brand they keep coming out with new lines every few months, just a maddening pace in this market. Meanwhile my Zendure Superbase V that failed during a SW update has been boxed up in my garage for about 3 months waiting for Tech Support. The first time this happened it only took them a month to replace it. 🥵
I’ve had two AllPowers solar panels and they work fine. I almost ordered their power station. Had two EcoFlow power stations. One worked fine, but the other did not. After months of dealing with customer service, they sent me a shipping label. They claimed it never arrived and I was out the entire cost of the power station. Bluetti I’ve had two power stations from. One is broken and I’m talking to support about. The other, arrived dead, but they replaced it with one that works awesome… So, I have had a lot of mixed results with all power station companies, that I’ve tried.
Curious, you have a silver play button on your wall, and yet only 23K users.... what caused you to lose 3/4 of your users that gave you the silver play button?
you pushing a wrong DC button...try USB button(usb is also a DC....), i have this unit(EU version) and its definitly have wifi, to have 1500W charge you need to switch to another mode in the app...do a little more research, really
There’s no modes in the app - because we can’t access it.. and the buttons don’t work to turn on the wifi! We don’t just free-for-all post videos.. we try our best to figure things out first😂

I could post morals related to Muslim, Buddhist, atheist, Wiccan, or Christian views. I could even quote from the book of Satan. Trust me, I've studied them all, but I don't because people are here to find out about solar stuff, not fu** morals. So I ask again what's your point.

Both are excellently rated, work great whether speaking to a group, or videoing. THAT thing he uses is for show not function.

Now THIS earns a sub. Can’t know what the right thing to get is before knowing what not to get.
yes that for being honest in your videos
It's so sad that a lot of these companies think that we use 110vAC - because that's what the outlet is 'referred' to - And it's NOT OK
My R600 slowly broke, first no bluetooth, then no charging on top, then solar input broke (it was super tight connection, fixed it myself), then would randomly go from 75% to 0 randomly. Now I'm just running it hard until it completely breaks, outlets and USB still work.
I put a 1 star review for a S2000 pro on Allpower's site, and it got posted!
How do you charge this if there is no electricity, No solar panels and no gas or diesel gensets?
Son in law bought one and have never been able to get the extra battery and cable
Love your review. Hate that you have to censor. Keep rocking it out!
Thank you for the insight.😮 I will trust the Tiny Baby seal of approval.
I like how you didn't even review it lol
When I bought an expensive Bluetti and then found cheaper sogens on Amazon with "the same" specs I was annoyed, until I saw some reviews!
Been saying this for a while. Thanks
Good job. Thx ❤
Can you guys do the Oupes Mega 1 next?
😂 I love the reviews you put out.
Love the honesty
Is oops a better one to get then allpowers
Yes! We have reviewed a couple so far and we actually like the oupes power stations! (Atleast the ones we’ve tried)
Yes
This review is why I hit the sub button ❤
For the wifi, could it be creating a wifi endooint you connect to and you get html page in browser? Just thinking outside the box
The other, arrived dead, but they replaced it with one that works awesome…
So, I have had a lot of mixed results with all power station companies, that I’ve tried.
Oh I forgot, got an Oupes and it works great!
I have Ecoflow delta but their panels cost are expensive. I got allpower solar panel instead.
Thx u
Get rid of the mic...
I was planning on getting the 2500 not anymore 😂
Nice content nice job👍
Curious, you have a silver play button on your wall, and yet only 23K users.... what caused you to lose 3/4 of your users that gave you the silver play button?
The play button is from a previous channel one of us had!
What happened to bobby builds
respect.
you pushing a wrong DC button...try USB button(usb is also a DC....), i have this unit(EU version) and its definitly have wifi, to have 1500W charge you need to switch to another mode in the app...do a little more research, really
There’s no modes in the app - because we can’t access it.. and the buttons don’t work to turn on the wifi! We don’t just free-for-all post videos.. we try our best to figure things out first😂
@@TheSolarLab yeah, you pushed the wrong button, instructions aren't very clear
Mic looks stupid
How do you lie about a product having wifi
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Well said.....
And that helps make a decision about solar how?

Here is the problem with u religious people. If I wanted to watch a video about morals, i would watch it. I could post morals related to Muslim, Buddhist, atheist, Wiccan, or Christian views. I could even quote from the book of Satan. Trust me, I've studied them all, but I don't because people are here to find out about solar stuff, not fu** morals. So I ask again what's your point.
YOU SUCK!....said all the other companies who could not buy you off. Great video!
Ecoflow or nothing.
It’s why I’m so glad I bought a Bluetti. It’s a high quality product and very well supported by customer service.
You need a good small microphone LOL! I get the “Old fashioned Radio show” look… but that thing is comically HUGE! 😂
New to YT? Plenty of content creators use large mics.
@@mr.c6674 - LOL!, no. I’ve been here 18 years, you have been here 6. I get the trend, but he has to have his mouth an inch away to be heard clearly. 😳 I use two, one goes over my ear with a clear plastic tube with a mic on the end. The other is a small mic that clips to my collar with a wire that runs to a small box that clips behind you or wherever. Both are excellently rated, work great whether speaking to a group, or videoing. THAT thing he uses is for show not function.
@@Erin-Thor So YOU like a small clip style mic, ok. Maybe THEY don't? Use what you like. Who cares?
@@bubbarob1978 - LOL! Works for me! He seemed to be paying attention to keeping his mouth close to his microphone, I was just trying to be helpful. Too funny! 😂
