Thank you for the video Mario! I always wondered if this was possible or not and now I'm very excited to RGH my and my friends 360s and play together 🤩 I have one question, does it support voice chat?
Bro, this is similar what we modders/bridgers used to do in Halo 2 on the OG Xbox haha (shout out to HiH, if you know….) Tho back then after you’d get banned from h2 matchmaking, using xlink back then was pretty bad, esp for recording machinima stuff. But I think it was coz very few ppl had good internet speed haha I personally used Hamachi towards the end. 🤘🤘
Thank you MrMario for all these amazing tutorials you make, I have actually an issue here, I have done all the requirements from updating the dashboard and registering to XboxUnity and most important I got into the router settings and did all those you mentioned but when I go to the xbox and try to verify it I get the data port reachable and the broadcast port reachable not working note my router is tenda 11N and it's not the main one.
@@Kyush4 If you are talking about the WiFi adapter for the fat consoles then I have once seen a wireless device that utilizes the ethernet port to connect any device to any WiFi network. I honestly don't know what they are called but the idea is similar to the WiFi extenders that has ethernet ports.
I'm getting the weirdest issue. I have two systems set up both RGH3 both have their own individual unity accounts. I attempted to do system link in Black ops 2 zombies. Depending on which console is the host, when the other console connects to the lobby the host console reboots itself. I'm not sure if it's an issue that they're on the same network and somehow that canceling each other out or what's going on.
If you're trying to connect two consoles together on your local network, LiNK is not needed, if anything it complicates that. If you want to do true local System Link, you need to unload the NOVA plugin within Aurora.
@MrMario2011 well one console I'm eventually sending to a friend as a gift. So that's how I was trying to test this function. I had kind of suspected that the way I configured my router so that they both could be on it was causing a type of compatibility issue. And thus causing the crashing. Going to test another way of working. As I'm going to try and connect a another Wi-Fi router to my phone via hotspot configure that router and then test again.
Do you know by any chance if this is possible on RGLoader converted systems? AFAIK RGLoader and DashLaunch cannot be installed on the same console so I need another way to do the ping patch and devkit link thing.
maybe someone can help me, my ips connected to one router which by cable connected to another router and this is the router i use for my pc and consoles. which one of them i need to configure?
Hopefully more players will use this. Mostly black ops2 is all i find playing.
Yeah, it's less get in and go, more the type of service you have to organize with friends due to the low population right now.
This works for me, thanks MrMario!
You're welcome!
That's really cool thank you for this tutorial! However, I noticed that your temps seem a little high for a Corona at 9:10 🤔
Let that boy cook.
Great video, thanks MrMario!
You're welcome!
link better get popular again
We'll see, at least this can serve as a more updated tutorial.
@@MrMario2011 for sure
This is a cheap alternative if you don't want to pay for a stealth server. 😂
Can't beat free!
you know proto exists
@@Xxx_KittySlayer_xxX is proto free?
Is pretty cool to have cuz what if u wanna play mp on a dev game that won't allow u to connect to xblive u can use system link to play
@@TheMagnificentGman yeah
U should do Xlink Kai in the future i have but with issues and because i install it without any idea i rather reinstallit to have it working properly
Thank you man, you are the best
Thanks for hanging out!

I have one question, does it support voice chat?
Have fun! As for voice chat, if the game itself supports it over system link then it should work. Sounds silly, but I do know that Halo 3 supports it.
Thanks. Will dust off my JTAG. Nice one
Have fun!

Ah yep, during the heyday that was pretty much where people would go if they got banned from matchmaking and/or didn't want to pay for Xbox Live 😆
I use free stealth server i use shield and it's free 😊
How good?

Sounds like you'd need to change those settings on the main one.
@@MrMario2011 If I could change my router to the main one, would it work?
Is there any aftermarket 360 wireless adapters for sale nowadays? thanks for the guide :)
A cheap laptop and an ethernet cable!

a lot of steps for wired connection here i find it difficult could you just connect wireless and skip these steps?
How are you going to skip steps on a wireless connection when you have to do the same thing?
i got you and appreciate your effort man keep it up 👍🏻
Can you help me data port and broadcast port keeps failing every time

@@AcuardThe3rd doubt you can port forward on a mobile hot-spot
My both ports are failing and 3071-72 are closed according to port checker
Does this bypass the Xbox Live requirement for games like Halo 4? And can you do Original Xbox games with System Link on the 360?
LAN only, and this would not work for OG
Man why doesn’t a lan cable from one console to another work why’s it so difficult
This isn't for local LAN.
@ is there an easy way for local lan system link please mr Mario
@ is there a way to do local lan ?
Is there a list of compatible games?
Any game with system link.

Probably if you launch Aurora and set the permissions once you are in game from the guide, those ones are temporary.
@@MrMario2011 Permissions? Not sure what you mean. When I try to run the connection test it fails because of those two issues :(

Whichever handles port forwarding rules.
are there actually people playing? i am interested in bo1
Best to schedule it with people you know. Last night my friend and I played Gears of War on it.
I play Unity but such a low player population is discouraging, would rather play online.
That's fair, since it's not too populated this works best when coordinated with friends.
i find this to be very redundant. proto stealth is free lol
It's not redundant for everyone!
