The reason why zelda didn't go anywhere at 1:52 is because her Neutral B hit Mario at the same time as his F-Smash hit her. This canceled Mario's F-Smash animation, which he immediately followed up with a jab, therefore only applying the knockback of the jab, which is why Zelda didn't go anywhere.

I got my robin into elite smash last week and me and the other 3 active robins decided that put me in contention for 3rd best robin.
For BJr, he will get cart back upon landing or being grabbed. This causes the explosion to go off faster. You can see yourself by grabbing edge after upb

That’s not the weird part. I slowed it down to .25 speed, and the Bowser Jr player had inputted the up special quickly enough that the starting animation went off just bare milliseconds before the pikachu player hit him. My gods, that was craziness!
I thought the Pikachu attacked a Mecha Koopa I didn't see and made it explode by doing so, causing greater damage and knockback. I know that's how Villager's rockets are like.

For the ken cotd, the hitbox on anvil was always active, but ken's (and ryu's) legs are intangible during side b. This concludes todays random character fact.

It is meant to hit from behind. You can even see the shockwave. In smash 4 the extended Levin sword damage and knock back sucked, but it made it a bit more obvious that it is supposed to hit from behind as well, but maybe it is just easy to miss in Ultimate

Too bad Ultimate decided to be funny and mute the death scream if it's the winning kill (unless it's Stamina, even falling off screen in Stamina plays the full scream)

I like how the only reason why Marth's grab was busted in Melee was simply because he leaned in. Hitboxes weren't even huge or anything it was quite normal
Similarly, the reason Palu was able to get the grab from that far was because Samus used her forward tilt and stretched her leg out. Or was it her arm cannon reaching out? Hmm

Smash is a perfect game with absolutely no flaws whatsoever.
Jokes aside, I have a potential answer for the Young Link vs. Luigi clip. As YL was falling towards the blast zone, he was holding a bomb that (while on screen) looked pretty close to blowing up. It probably exploded right before he hit the blast zone, causing the kill screen affevt to occur. It just happened at such an awkward time that it made for a very funny clip
The bomb has a spike hitbox, that's why it occured.
3:57 for those wondering, each time puff makes a sound a hit boxes appears around her and goes away. Diddy happened to land right after one came out and get out before the next

right as she did, mr. g&w killed the luma right as it was supposed to disappear, thus starting the cooldown timer until next respawn, thus rosalina didnt get back the luma at respawn like she was supposed to because of that timer
I think the crash at 0:50 happened because of a strange bug when Kirby taunts to remove the ability
He did not taunt, the ability removed itself while he was charging water
It’s because Pokemon trainer is removed with Squad Strike

I main Kirby. For some reason Olimar Is hella easy to fight.
it's because once you get a single inhale, all of your pikmin beat out his pikmin and since none of yours latch on (they're all basically purples), it's really hard for him to approach you. add onto that the fact that it's tough for olimar to keep kirby from getting inhale because only purple pikmin launch you, it makes the matchup very annoying for olimar.

@@STONKS_MemeMan well, not exactly free. kirby's air speed isn't quite enough to keep up with the amount of air mobility olimar gets with 1 or 0 pikmin, and once olimar is above ledge, he has access to his disjointed aerials out of up b. a good olimar can definitely recover against a kirby fairly easily imo

i think the kirby/squirtle clip is because the copy abilities are stored within the character they come from, not in kirby, so when ivysaur died, squirtle was unloaded and it deleted kirbys ability
since kirby was using the ability when it got unloaded, the game didnt know what state to put him in? thats where im not sure

That hbox clip is literally how the move always worked? It just has 3 active waves which I thought was common knowledge at this point?
Also Robin down smash has always had a back hit box since smash 4, is he REALLY that uncommon
I had something similar to the Luigi young link happen with wario and ryu I think it’s a case of being hit at the same time or close to hitting the blast zone which makes a really loud high pitched noise. For me it was warios chomp throw for this the bomb exploded at the same time
The Alex cloud one is likely a lingering hit box from clouds move before it finishes that clashed with Alex’s move.
My theory is, because most of these clips are from local tournaments the Switch's they are playing on are over heating causing some glitches.
The Switch isn't a very good console.

Most of these aren't even wtf moments, I'll explain most of these:
- 0:23, this was tested by the Beefy Smash Doods a very while ago, it has to be known;
- 1:16 Joker simply DI on the left and got hit on the back, that's literally it;
- 1:27 At the slowest speed, we can see that its really just bowser that had his hurtbox shifting on the back, dodging the K.O. punch. Bowser's ftilt also has intangibility frames, so its not supposed to be that surprising.
- 1:53 Mario did forward smash and jabbed right after he got hit, it resets the knockback to the jab's.
- 2:01 That's just a grab release because the platform despawns...
- 2:10 The fsmash dont have only 1 frame of hitbox by the way, and the reason why pac man got hit "through roy" is because of surely his nose hurtbox that went through Roy during the hitbox window.
- 2:29 if i recall correctly, the explosion isn't owned by anybody, only the bob omb itself. Mewtwo was in bob omb's hitbox but he reflected at the same time, so the explosion occured and got reflected.
- 2:36 Samus forward tilted, and palutena grabbed her hurtbox, thats it.
- 2:58 For some reason this thing happens when Dark Pit's guardian orbiters gets broken by this projectile that is too strong, so mewtwo dont get hit by his own shadowball.
- 3:12 Young link has multiple hitboxes, including a spike hitbox, its this one that occured to activate the killscreen.
- 3:22 this thing happens alot. I think it's because the game looks at if 2 hitboxes happen at the same time and if they clash each other, it doesn't trigger the fact that a character should be hit.
- 3:37 I think it's at the very last frames of the up b's hitbox that came to the very right of diddy kong so that it him, its very precise so it looks wtf at first.
- 3:34 up smash hit down tilt, thats it.
- 3:59 Jigglypuff puts asleep when her arms are lift up, Diddy Kong went in between both animations of the sort, so there was no sleep hitbox while he was there.
- 4:22 Bowser grabbed Link but link hit bowser at the same time, so there was a grab release. The reason why there was a position switch is because Bowser keeps link closed to him so link went backwards, and bowser went infront because of the up smash scoop hitbox at the beginning.
- 4:30, forward air hitbox working as intended, it hits from high up just like snake. It hit samus's leg.
- 4:39 Okay this is a 2 frame but at a bair that hit frame perfect Rob's arms when he grabs the ledge, iirc they're high up when grabbing it.
- 4:56 Little Mac down tilted the explosion...
- 5:15 dude that is obvious, wario's back air hit the last hitbox of up air...
- 5:32 thats what happens when you roll too late, your hurtbox is still inside your opponent's hitbox window.
- 6:10 that- is something you didn't know Yeet Smash? Robin's does smash hits intentionally backwards bruh.
1:50 F-Smash didn't kill because Zelda's move hit Mario and he immediately continued with a regular jab, negating the F-Smash.

I think what happened at 2:36 was Samus used forward tilt, which is a kick in front of her, and that caused her hitbox to move. I don't think it got her leg grabbed though, she just moved forward that much. If you watch in slow motion, the frame right before the grab, you can see a swing effect. Still great though.

For the Palutena grab clip, XYK inputted Samus’ ftilt beforehand which sticks her leg way out and that’s how he got grabbed like that.

4:21 don't wanna be the "erm actually" guy but if you wanna know there's a reason for this: Link and Bowser traded the hits but since both Link's up smash (first two hits) and Bowser's up-b (until final hit) suck the opponents in to make sure they get launched by the finisher hit, Link got sucked in to the left and Bowser got sucked in to the right, cancelling each other's attack

If you see a rag doll glitch in a game, usually touching it will reset it back to normal
They both see the same screen to a clear view of the glitch and nobody could take a second to see what was going on and decided to just attacking as soon as possible

That's not the thing. Luma is supposed to respawn when Rosalina dies, but Luma didn't respawn but only after some seconds, which isn't supposed to happen.
