After diving into this game for the past week or so, ive found players with thousands of hours, and none of them have a grasp of the game and they honestly wont until full release because of the regular twice a week updates.
@@cluesemb4974 Literally impossible to have thousands of hours in a game in a week or a couple of weeks, maybe theyve kept the game open 24/7 but they don't have actual hours of playtime
My biggest tip is make sure to farm out crates, vases and statues. The underground tunnels that go through mid and have subway-style entrances at each lane progressively spawn more and more crates throughout the match, and many people dont go down there. I always travel between farther lanes through it and clear out the boxes, and you end up with insane buffs by the end. I had +60% fire rate and +35% ammo by the end of a match earlier and one magged the other team's patron.
I have noticed that as well. The only issue is that you lose farm when you hunt for the crates etc. But then again you gain so much from them if you get lucky... But whenever you run past stuff that can be destroyed, destroy them and see if you get lucky.
If the upcoming guides you promised are as quality as these ones, you can guarantee this as a main guide playlist for literally every Deadlock player. I recommend you go over this guide`s parts (like movement, laning, shop etc.) and make an equally good in-depth video for those and ur set. GG bro, ty for the video!

I never liked MOBAs and I'm not a big fan of hero shooters, but I'm a big fan of Valve (and Remedy) and decided to give it a chance. I'm hooked as if I were playing Counter-Strike 1.5 again. However, it is a lot of information to assimilate. Lots of terms to understand. "What are these souls?", "what do these urns do?", "what item do I buy?", "why am I being HUMILIATED?", "when to kill the mid boss?", "where are the enemies from the jungle?" You explained everything very clearly, I feel much less lost now (I'm still quite lost in the items to buy and builds). Anyway, a big hug from Brazil and may your channel grow. in the item shop you can get a list of user made builds for the current character and they're ranked by likes. clicking on one swaps out the default, and it even has UI for suggested order to get abilities. i normally like to work this stuff out myself but its just so complicated and using pre-made guides massively increased my enjoyment
When you start the game press B and then in the top right corner you can browse builds and chose a highly voted build. these builds will tell you exactly what to build
Love when people find 'THAT' game to play and make content for. I can tell how much you really do enjoy the game by the passion in the explanations! Keep at it man!!
I mean it makes sense, the algorithm is desgined to maximize your time on the platform, you haven't watched his content in awhile (because he hasn't uploaded in awhile) so it's a gamble if you'd still like the content, you do, but many others might not, it's much riskier then just recommending you channels you ate currently watching
I love the how the map color looks so washed out and neutral. This means whatever bright like the characters or NPC will catch your attention. Valve is very serious when it comes to how they incorporate color in their game, like TF2 and L4D2.

This is my first MOBA and coming from casual Overwatch (not even Overwatch2 lol ) and TF2 it has been a real learning curve. This guide was so helpful dude. Only having watched up to the end of laning I've learned so much from just the B roll, I had no idea sliding worked like this in this game. I thought it was useless. I gotta learn this movement.
New to this channel, very well explained and thought out guide. I havent had as much time to play but I agree with all the points presented. Deadlock is really nice in the sense that it doesnt take that many games to get used to it all, but still has that level of complexity mobas are known for that allows for seemingly endless skill expression. I've been in the playtest for a while but don't have anywhere near as many hours as most people. That's one of the scary things about MOBAs to me, people get SO hooked on them and it feels like if you aren't no-lifeing you just get left behind. Being in a team means you can blame other people but it also means you can be the one everyone's justifiably blaming because you're just sort of clueless.
I hope Valve is able to figure out how to avoid that kind of community. It's hard enough to try and learn one of these games when you've never played MOBAs very much, it's even harder when everyone is angry at you while you're confused and unsure of yourself. That's why I had trouble getting into other MOBAs. I hope it'll be one of those communities where people are patient and help out the new players instead of shitting all over them.
just mute the chat or ignore them. it helps to remind yourself that its just a game, and the players that give you shit for not being a sweaty nerd are losers. its supposed to be an enjoyable experience. some of these mfs be taking it way too serious in the gold rank, like they have nothing going on in their life they have to be miserable and get a high rank in a video game just to feel accomplished.

As a dota player, the only thing driving me crazy is that sometimes your creeps just... won't push the lane. They kinda walk around wanting to join a fight in another lane when the game is later, even if you are deliberately trying to lead one to an unattended walker so you can go push and take it while the enemy is busy playing footsies posturing for a full man fight. If you walk too far from a creep when this is happening, they turn around and do a 180 to go join a fight on the other half of the map in another lane. (You need one creep with you to disable the backdoor protection, so this is annoying)

I have been trying to figure out where the jungle camps are, and there were a bunch of other helpful small details in this video that other creators have left out, like how and when the soul sharing changes. I loved the Division videos. I loved the destiny videos. I was shocked when I found you on some random ass video while I was into video essays. You keep popping up and you keep being my favorite for a while. That "while" being that I never played division, hated destiny, and got really bored of video essays or whatever you were actually doing at that time.
New to the channel and Deadlock, thank you so much for publishing this comprehensive guide. With the game still in early alpha stage and the informal NDA that existed until this week, there was a real lack of ways to learn the game without trial and error the way you learned it. I believe in this game a lot as well, Icefrog's infuence really shows in it and that guy knows how to make games balanced and addictively fun! Excited to see more of what you create

I don't believe there's any dedicated junglers or anyone with whom only or even primarily jungling is viable.

One thing I love about this game (besides so much) is the melee being good. Everyone has a fat attack charged attack and a parry. Very cool

I loved the Division videos. I loved the destiny videos. I was shocked when I found you on some random ass video while I was into video essays.
You keep popping up and you keep being my favorite for a while. That "while" being that I never played division, hated destiny, and got really bored of video essays or whatever you were actually doing at that time.
New to the channel and Deadlock, thank you so much for publishing this comprehensive guide. With the game still in early alpha stage and the informal NDA that existed until this week, there was a real lack of ways to learn the game without trial and error the way you learned it. I believe in this game a lot as well, Icefrog's infuence really shows in it and that guy knows how to make games balanced and addictively fun! Excited to see more of what you create
Really useful stuff between this and the movement guides. Even if some of it is "basic", a lot of it is easy for someone to miss or not understand even if they have played mobas before.
