Valve doesn't tell their devs what to do. They pick and choose what games they wanna work on. Non of the valve devs wanna really work on tf2 anymore due to its code and it being insanely oudated. Valve doesn't just order people around. All gabe does is greenlight ideas and pull the plug on failing ones. He doesn't have much hands on control over the devs that work at valve
I started yesterday and I already am a pro with pocket but he doesn’t really deal damage or is fast but i just love how he fits in there and how good he is at dodging
The difference between his enthusiasm between Concord and deadlock is so evident. He really enjoyed this one. Sony got an example of how to do it, right after the release of Concord.
Personally the gunplay feels a lot more like pvzgw rather than overwatch. The longer ttk and focus on everyone dealing respectable damage rather than quick ttk drawn out with tanks and healers
One of the biggest issue for me is that you want your gun to feel impactful in a shooter. But depending on how far behind you and your team is it can feel like a pea-shooter. You don't want to aim, track and shoot your enemy just for it to barely do anything. But it's more of an issue I have with the genre mix and not necessarily the implementation because I think the game is well-made enough, although I don't know if the cartoony aesthetic helps on that front.
I first mained pocket who had a cool appearance and lore, then shiv, then haze. I like the lore of shiv and Pocket and I like the gameplay of haze mid to late game

1. Concept art for the map shows that there will likely be more color and visual detail in the future. They probably don't want to do all the finishing touches until the map structure, pathing and mechanics are closer to final
2. I'm a longtime DotA player and that game has over 120 heroes. Coming from the same developer it's almost a certainty Deadlock will have vastly more than the 20-something heroes currently in the game
3. I agree this game is a 9/10 and once we all get the hang of it and it gets polished/finished it's probably going to be a 10.
haters of this game for sure does not even play mobo or dota, definitely dota players will enjoy this like me
You can tell this dude was born in the 2000s.
I didn't even think this coming to consoles was remotely an option, but if it did I'd be PUMPED!
The gold pots and creats actually give you permanent (but small) boosts, but they can build up over the course of a game
I usually don't really like third person shooters either (though I do like third person games, just not shooters) but whem I'm done moving I'm definitely going to try this out. Looks like Valve really thought this one through. Had a lot of questions, but it seems like they've already had an answer ready for most of them. It's nuts.
Ngl deadlock is so good because, atleast now, it isnt toxic at all. I legit only played this game for the past week with only positive feedback and then I had to play league because the servers were down and I instantly got flamed for no reason
If someone flame you mute them, if you want to hear genuin team disscusion sure but when you know the guy is just flaming you just mute him and let him scream at air
best intro I've seen in a while
So this game is basically Warlanders (if any1 knows what that is) but you only have six people on your team instead of one duodigintillion
Deadlock being a combination of MOBA and Hero Shooter is gonna have me addicted to it.
Also you gotta love when the Devs are actually listening for feedback. Rare W, but when you consider it's Valve, it's pretty typical of them.
Great video just one small issue
Tf2 didn't lose a lot of its players because of overwatch it was because of the meet your match update wich happened around the same time overwatch released
Im so happy this has a unique setting instead of the same vague future thing it feels like he have got for the last 10 years. Basically all MOBAs are like medival magic fantasy so it’s a good break from that as well.
This game looks so good, except unfortunately the character designs look like generic mobile game characters lol
"early access" rn they are still tweaking it
Viscose went from just green humanoid slime
To have bit more personality
Like bigger eyes
And visible skeletal
And still being optimized
There is a item called debuff reducer that makes the cc a lot less powerful and it can be upgraded to a active version that removes all cc and makes u immune to all cc for a small time at the press of a button
What if Valve just focused on TF2? Like full gung-ho on developing it
Dawg the game is older than most viewers
I doubt they wanna do content updates for a game on an outdated engine.
@zaj007 cap I am 1 years old that is like the most oldest macro viewer
Valve doesn't tell their devs what to do. They pick and choose what games they wanna work on. Non of the valve devs wanna really work on tf2 anymore due to its code and it being insanely oudated. Valve doesn't just order people around. All gabe does is greenlight ideas and pull the plug on failing ones. He doesn't have much hands on control over the devs that work at valve
I've been playing too many single player games lately so now my barometer of interest is swinging the complete opposite way
28 like in 20 seconds? Macro fell off
Say it with me!
You should "love" yourself NOW!!⚡🌩️
Please stop with this stupid shit
🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦🏻🤦🏼♀️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏼🤦🏾♀️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏿
10:26 Coming out of Tarkov 0.14, yeah, I can tell you that just adding snow alone completely changes how the game looks and plays
Gargoyles and Static Shock references in one vid. Definitely GOTY material
The artistic inspirations definitely postdate the victorian era/steampunk('s era of inspiration) by quite a few decades.
I started yesterday and I already am a pro with pocket but he doesn’t really deal damage or is fast but i just love how he fits in there and how good he is at dodging
Bro this intro !!! Amazing
The Rogue Company reference goes crazy💥
Each lane perhaps having a small unique style difference would help to know where you are.
This feels like what everyone wished Battleborn was, what Battleborn could've been.
The difference between his enthusiasm between Concord and deadlock is so evident. He really enjoyed this one. Sony got an example of how to do it, right after the release of Concord.
You bought that wingman at a convention like I did didn't you. 🤣
Personally the gunplay feels a lot more like pvzgw rather than overwatch. The longer ttk and focus on everyone dealing respectable damage rather than quick ttk drawn out with tanks and healers
carter aces music fits so well.
i was looking for this video yesterday 😭
>Valve
>Banger after Banger
Artifact: ...
Dropping a like for the Static Shock theme reference
I don't know why but it's kinda funny how marco showing league instead of dota 😂
You're right, the map needs green spaces! Seasons are also a wonderful idea.
Good vid. A little misleading with not fully accurate information, but overall good vibes and editing :D
Apart from the color palette I think most of the game is great. The fact that I can auto pilot builds just makes this better
10:13 Yeah.. Balance patches, TF2 folks sure have those.
I first mained pocket who had a cool appearance and lore, then shiv, then haze. I like the lore of shiv and Pocket and I like the gameplay of haze mid to late game
