These old B&W movies are a wonderful source for historical reference when one has an interest in vintage cars. In fact, I think someone should do a video for RUclips dealing with the documentation of cars seen in these films.

26-5-23 ; A good serial, with action , murders , suspense , and more . Such a wide range of years in the motor vehicles - the coupe , was my first drive , by ínvite of my youngest uncle , on an unsealed acess road . Steering as in the movies , freaked out uncle , but the car didnt leave the access 'road'- track . Did ok for a 4 year old . Learned to drive proprly at 15 years , in a 1937 Canadian Assembled , Chevrolet ,with everything excet tyers , in original condition . The opening railroad scene with miles and miles of vacant plains as far as the eye can see. I'll bet that's full of homes and street lights and strip malls now. When I watch these old movies I always think of that.
Generally pretty good. Made for a lot of nice twists. Universal usually did serials right. They had the studio power. The print was really good on this too.
If I had been "dialog editor" on this serial, I'm not sure I'd've wanted to be credited! The dialog is Batman-level cartoonish. Still fascinating, of course.
I have always thought thhem to be guilty from the stsrt and hearing what happen and their first interview. Shocking how make up all these lies. A girl did come forward an had that mark in her eye and they had a hard job getting DNA off the parents to test the girl. Ultimately she was false. But why did they not want to give their DNA maybe they know she iss dead.
