I bought this aircraft bc my grandfather flew it in Rhodesia, and he passed away 2 years ago. Amazingly, my name is Aden, spelled exactly the same way as the 30mm cannon.

A7Ds seem to be dominating the matches lately.
9.7 is DOMINATED by A7D and Harriers and also yak38 because it has a ton of engine power

@@henryklee680 Maaybe it used to be. Nowadays I swear every single match I kill A7D s who think they are some invincible , lowflying saucers. As for Harriers...ye those guys could click you if you make 1 wrong move.....
Harriers are usually on your team, and if you mean the Av8 you can outrun it and the A7D in level flight, easily outturn them and you have way better energy retention

I had to pause the video a minute in to talk about that early comment about RUclipsrs not showing their bad games. It's annoying to get those comments but at the same time it's fair because it's partially true. One thing people need to keep in mind that every RUclipsr's approach is different. While some only do kill montages and try to make them (and the vehicle) look good, there are others who take a different approach and will throw in a little bit of everything from just flying around and showing modifications in the hangar to showing highlight kills and big fails.
Regardless of the approach taken, RUclipsrs are essentially all competing for the same thing, YOUR TIME. It's incredibly valuable. You can earn more money. You can't earn back that fifteen minutes you just spent watching some guy on the Internet talk about a digital vehicle. If you feel you just wasted your time, there's a good chance you'll never watch this person's content again. The RUclipsr is just trying to make the most out of that 10-15 minutes in hopes you'll watch more content.
If you want to see fails, tune in to the live streams. If they aren't live, watch the Video On Demand (VOD). VODs may not be as much fun because you can't interact with the streamer, but you can see all of their successes and fails.

It's other benefit is for CAS in ground RB. Is the only hunter with a landing chute, so gets quick turnarounds and can carry 4X1000lb bombs or a couple of rocket pods.

This plane is getting spammed out. Many matches in my J32 more than half of the team are fga.9s.
Good planes but half or over half have no experience in jets

As someone who owns pretty much every premium jet. I can also confirm the FGA 9 is the best.
When I first got it, the jet was brand spanking new. The missiles were more effective, they performed then like R60s perform now, maybe even a lil better. (bought the jet on an account with 0 British planes researched and within ten days I was flying the Swift) Granted that was while playing War Thunder as if it was my full time job. (maybe a full time internship cause it didn't pay out aside from experience xD)
But even after an update or two, the FGA has still been able to put out the best performance of all premium jets for it's tier, having two missiles as well as good speed and speed retention makes it super viable at almost any BR it gets brought into, and a 600 round canon on top just makes it too much fun.
The only other premium aircraft that has helped me climb a tech tree so quickly was the German Ju 288. (Premium Bomber in German tech tree)

Depends more on which nation you want to grind with it.
But the other benefit of the hunter is that it's great for ground RB too thanks to a decent payload and a landing chute for quick turn arounds, and with no capable top tier AA, a decent jet is essential for Britain's air defence.

@@timago1995 Well the hunter will in theory be easier to play. I'm not a fan of migs though so I'm a bit bias.

Would you be willing to bring the 19s back out? I’ve been playing it lately and am actually having a good time it’s so much more satisfying to get a kill than with braindead missiles, after playing the 19s for a couple days I took the 21 back out got an ace the first game. Just wasn’t competitive or hard at all you actually have to have skill flying the 19s and it’s made me a much better pilot. Took my kd in it from 8-40 to 112-145 still negative but I’m impressed with myself lol
just returned to the game about a week ago, this plane used to be super good but now its getting totally shitted on. as stated in the video it used to easily be able to pull big turns without dipping under 1000km/h if you do the same turn now you will very quickly drop to about 500-700km/h
It still does decently but the fact that it faces supersonics ten times better than it really just crushes it. Now it takes alott of skill to be able to effectively play it

this plane is a beast! I actually find it really hard to land, because it just doesn't want to slow down at all, and i end up overshooting, such an amazing energy retention
Would this apply to the Hunter F1 and F6
If you want fast RP I recommend 2x AIM9 and ground attack ammo. Make a lof of speed and go after some pillboxes with guns, keep your speed up and almost nothing will catch you. If the enemy teams goes after you your team will have a big advantage. Just be fast and avoid Lightnings.
One thing thats overlooked on the FGA Hunter is its a ground attack varient its wings are stronger so you wont break them unless your pulling extreme Gs.Love my hunter premium.

@@WhooptieDo Aye I,ve had to try deliberately to rip the wings off thinkI broke mach in a dive in a test flight at full trust and tried pulling up to do it

FGA9 is def the best prem. Faster than everything, guns that work, decent missles, can turn well. Super annoying to fight. Almost as untouchable as the lightning.
Massive shame it doesn't have SRAAMs, but Hunters are MER beasts. Super hard to manoeuvre kill too; bit of a skill check fighting them 1v1 since they can burn the energy out of anything

It’s the damn sparks man I’m telling you... I make those 3 pop bullet shots and it sparks so much that i need to play the migs so agressive and apsurd on the trigger to have 4 or 5 game kills... the 23 mm still really are dust in te wind,really sad.
I recently bought this plane and holy #£*@ it's amazing. The acceleration, energy retention and weapon systems more than make up for the lack of turning.

I think the mig17 as is the best but its a difficult plane so i wont recommend it to players that are new to jets

Nah the f5 Shenyang is the better dogfighter, but the Hunter has the advantage of being multiple role with more ordnance options.

imo the jew vautour is the best premium jet, its only 9.0 with great speed and energy retention and maneuverability, it can carry *4* shafrir AAM which are good if you catch someone off guard which happens a lot! you are a bomber so you get air spawn so if you try on most maps you can already get to the enemy AF within a minute of the enemies taking off which is good for catching them off guard. moreover since you're a fast 9.0 with AAMs and *4 DEFA 30mm* you are a broken opponent to fight against 8.0 jets which happens often in my experience. also if you just want to grind/bomb for France... well GOOD FKING NEWS XD! you can load the 10 750lb bombs, and spend 3 minutes in a game rushing to their bases! what I used to do was get in a game, rush to the bases in 3 minutes, bomb, die (give enemy the kill to not get crew lock), repeat! on a good run you can get 2.5K RP IN 3 MINUTES WITH * ALL LOSSES* do the math, 60 divided by 3 = ~20 battles an hour, 20 times 2,500 RP (all *loss* games). yea that's right, you're lookin at a clean ~50,000 RP and hour with all losses. of course you're gonna get less because of wait time to get into battle but still! alright im done with this ramble, if Vautour goes on sell and u wanna grind France then pick it up
Edit: when I was doing super France grind I was getting like 100,000-200,000 RP a day for the Air Force

@@WhooptieDo well that last bit is 50-50 correct. As you said yourself, the other premium plane good enough for a comparison with fga.9 is f-5. Well that takes it doesn't it? Fga.9, F-5 and Mig-17As at the top. But yeah there are some good jets like F2 sabre, g91ys, cl13b, f3h demon, etendard or mystere (maybe?). But most of them have a high repair cost so you have to think twice bfore playing them. But I'd agree my last statement was more of a sentimental than logical lol
To be honest, im having a little bit of hard time due to sudden rise in fga.9 players. They keep coming, they keep running. And other jets keep falling -_-
id take more Hunters over Lightnings any day ...
@@Asghaad most players would prefer hunter over lightning. But the fact that they keep speed so well that most sub sonics can't catch them and they just keep running, is what makes them both annoying for others.

Not really, if you play an assisting role more it's perfect, people like to chase you so bait them out for your team, it's helped me to research all but 2 planes on the brit tree since new years
