- In this quick video, I'll show you how to update firmware on your Canon EOS R6 Mark II. This is a very simple and quick process but for some reason other RUclipsrs take like 5 minutes to do it. SO, I decided to do my own thing.

My camera keeps restarting when it’s about to start the update.
My battery is 4/5 in power.
Should be fully charged?
Now it’s about 80%.
But I don’t think so that’s the problem
I dont think it being fully charged is necessary, but its definitely recommended. Hmmm, yeah Im not too sure. I guess do your typical troubleshooting: Try a different SD card and format that one too, Double check you are downloading the firmware update for the right camera, Try a freshly charged 100% battery, try it with the lens attached/unattached.
Why doesnt let me copy the file into the camera?
Hmmm, do you mean copying the files to the SD card? The only thing I'd guess is that maybe the sd card sliding button is switched to the lock mode so it's not allowing write access. Other than that im not sure.
