I thought there was going to be another video on Lúnasa because it just passed however I'm glad it was on The Mórrígan. I personally have a number of items on her alter that she will be pleased with.
Hullo! Thanks so much for sharing this. When I joined you to "Meet The Morrigan", I saw an image of Herself in a hooded, red cloak. I didn't see any "physical" features or attributes at all. I have been searching for appropriate artwork for my living space and it's helpful to know what is what. 😍 Talk again soon!
Thank you for this video. I find myself very drawn to the Morrigan. Without realising, i have many morrigan items on my altar already. I dont think she would be drawn to me right now, though. i dont have much to offer her. Maybe one day :)
Hi Lora! Wonderful video, I’m definitely saving this one to refer back to often. I’d love to know what your favourite imagery of Herself you particularly like; any artists you’ve encountered that seem to ring true as far as how you see Her… Thanks as always!
I love that you upload recent videos of ones you've posted before (makes sense? Yes?) But just to keep up to date I mean, it's awesome. You rock, my friend.
Thank you for all of this useful information. I have learned so much from both you and Jon. Any chance to get Jon to do an altar set up for the Dagda? It feels wrong to set up a Morrigan altar before I set one up one for the Dagda. In my personal practice the Dagda has reached out to me more often. Maybe like someone else mentioned I don't have enough to give her right now.
The strangest thing, my cat is a proud item destroyer lol, however, she doesn't touch my altar. She will lay against it on the floor, but she doesn't go on it. I hadn't put any thought into it until my friend had her altar pretty much destroyed by her cat. Then I began to really wonder. I think that she must have an idea of the importance of the altar, and maybe feels the presence of The Morrigan.
Hi, you're doing a good job, a question. Should the Morrigan now be seen as a pure war goddess who was also sacrificed before battles? I would see it that way now. Boudica also had a war goddess, but can't remember the name. Is that comparable? Attributes such as the above-mentioned prophetic traits can also be very decisive in a dispute.
Hi Lora I recently set up my pagan/ancestoral altar. I have my grandmother who was very religious on it with her rosemary beads. Is it ok to have a Miah mash of beliefs on your alter
thank you for talking about battery powered candles, im in college so i can't have live flames or incense and it made me sad and worried that i couldn't devote to Her fully
Hey I was wondering if you had to be Irish or even a descendant to be able to practice or possibly even learn this worship? I feel worried to ask but I genuinely wish to be respectful and not overstep boundaries. I have an understanding that in certain cultures certain practices are closed so I don’t wish to be an intruder. I would like to learn more about the Morrigan because I was curious when I had a messenger speak her name.
As an American I've never heard of a law against picking up feathers, it seems pretty unconstitutional. On the other hand, there are a lot of good laws on protecting wildlife, and there are some absolutely crazy states. There are also enough laws for everyone to immediately assume that they're technically guilty of something, so who knows. That said, I would love to see the hoops they would have to jump through to prove it.
A quick google search says “Yes, it's illegal to collect the feathers of native birds, even if you just found them on the ground. The law says that you are not allowed to collect feathers. The technical reason is that native birds and their parts are covered under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.” “The possession of feathers and other parts of native North American birds without a permit is prohibited by the MBTA.”
Its not about picking them up ,its owning them .The law is MBTA ,Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 ,the law was put into place to protect birds .Also many states respect tribal cultures regarding feathers & only allow them ownership of certain feathers due to their belifes . Even if it was the law it violates 0 rights .
@blackdahlia3713 You mean birds with a conservation status. The majority of corvidae are on the published exception list. It's not all birds, and corvus corax is LC out here.
I was born in the states, lived there for a large portion of my childhood, and have a lot of relatives there still. Even I have heard of these laws. I strongly recommend that you look deeper into them. If you have feathers of the birds it is illegal to possess, the first time free is incredibly expensive.

Due to cats, I bought a small IKEA Billy bookcase with a door to put my alter in. It has been a great solution for me.
Love this idea!
The male gaze images get my back up every time ! 99.9% have 0 to do with her or her lore . Thank you for all you do 💚
Thank you!
I hope your day has been well today Lora! 🖤
This video could not have come at a more perfect time. :) Thank you so much Lora.

That happened to me as well! :) Same with imagery for the Dagda in fact. :D That’s what really cemented for me that I’m on the right path.

Yeah as many times as you like

I am so grateful to have heard you speak to her image. The “sexy” Morrigan versions always rub me the wrong way and felt very uncomfortable to me.
