The gentle way you spoke the words "you haven't done anything wrong" was like medicine. Thank you.

My father heard people talking and the bean si wailing for weeks before his death. (He was not sick)
We lived in Minnesota at the time. I also had dreams.

One of the things that draws me to the Irish gods is their respect of sovereignty. Early in my journey I was walking with An Cailleach (still am) and She made known that The Morrigan was around. She (An Cailleach) made absolutely clear that I was allowed to say no. I was totally spooked by the idea of The Morrigan being interested in me at all, still fighting my way clear of toxic relationships and harmful church culture, and so not ready to engage with Herself. So I said no. If I still get a twinge of, "Hey, I'm still around." I just reinforce my 'no thank you' respectfully and we go along our ways.
I do totally get the idea of feeling beholden to a 'call' or 'invitation' from a deity. The idea of my own choice being valid and respected in that interaction took me a long time to come to terms with. It still feels new.

My personal tip do Lora’s journeys in the Ips classes (There are also a couple of really good free classes) and talk with The Mórrígan, not being ready can be a thing so talk about it. The journeys/ meditation can help as a way to tune your inner radio. Edit also it doesn’t have to be all or nothing and saying what you need to be able to learn and /or do the work and that you want to learn is a thing and if you don’t know if and how much you vill want to commit say that … figuring out for yourself where you are. And it can change over time.

I saved this, but didn't feel drawn to it when you released it. Here tonight, you have really spoke to me. Made me cry and really think. "It's okay and forgive yourself" were things I really needed to hear tonight. Thank you. Incredibly so. 💚💜💚

For me Jon, going my own path was the best thing for me; we recognize the past because we acknowledge it's not a sole grave of an O'Donnell who passed away as a branded mark at the chapel in the 1300s, but rather someone who continues to live here in a new land of Anishinabe that has brought much healing, love, & acceptance as he crosses the Nile and sees the message his Spiritual Mother in the form of the Morrigan renewed in him here in the present; we were never meant to stay stagnant(at least I never was) and having met Kath/Diane once more, and healing my story with her, brought a lot of peace & solace indeed; for me, personal sovereignty means someone who has courage & strength in his hart to follow his hart despite what the naysayers say; this to me is what it means to have a rainbow Gaelic hart as I continue ahead to share the rainbow with others by my side; slan go foill(bye for now) 🔥🌧🌈

I would like to revisit Eire eventually, but I realize the importance of the rainbow prophecy that I have learned in Anishinabe; I hope more and more Irish back home(and even those here in the Americas and others of the diaspora) will turn their harts from hatred to love(lest we stay in sole stagnant grey like Mitch McConnell is currently facing as well as others through transitioning as we cross the Nile) and understand(also learning to be more inclusive rather than solely exclusive as others have eventually included me with open harts in this new land) why it's important for us to come together indeed as I have; slan go foill(bye for now) 🔥🌧🌈

I just want to say I really love the way you and Lora talk about all these topics and your views really resonate with me. The honest "no bullshit" talk but at the same time so kind and heartfelt.... I just found you a couple of days ago at the equinox. I believe I had an unknowingly encounter with the Morrigan during/ after my meditation session and started to do research after that( I had never heard of her before, came across her name after a Google search with some description of what I've encountered). I came across your Podcast first when I started to look into her specifically and I ' m kinda in love with the work you guys are doing and very grateful to have come across it ❤ already enrolled in two of the courses 😂 I'm sure they won't be the last. Everything comes to us at the time it's supposed too.
    Greetings

I would say she was an Irish writer not an historian . But still worth reading because she was writing about the way people in general told her their stories.

What is this Banshee thing? Is it knowing when people have passed or are about to pass? Happens to me with loved ones who are near death or have just died all the time. I somehow I just know. We’re McNamara and Corey on my mom’s side. Story of just knowing: My siblings and I were supposed to meet at my mom’s hospice at 9. I woke up with a jolt at 7:30, knew I had to be there, jumped into my clothes and flew to her side. I woke up one of my sisters, who was on watch next to her bed. I had the time to hold her hand, tell her I was with her, and she breathed her last-maybe five minutes after I got there. We made the call to my other siblings, who hadn’t arrived yet. I don’t know how I knew, but I knew. Banshee? Has happened again and again to me.

Happens to me as well, like it did for my grams and (sometimes I think my mom?) Banshee is something diffrent it is a being who wails in order to warn about inpending death and often connected to specific Irish families.

    • @silverkitty2503

Firstly here in Ireland there are many types of Bean Sidhes connected with diff places and diff families/situations. Also a Bean Sidhe is much more than just a foreteller of death. It is being connected to and altering fate. It is being a being that brings people to the otherworld. A lot of death doulas have such a connection. Personally I dont want to negate your personal feelings etc if you feel drawn to them. But its a lot more than telling or feeling the future or future events or deaths. It is also altering them. It also involves empathy. Think about it a woman with no connection blood wise to people mourning their deaths. In Ireland they are more than just foretelling of deaths ...they despise people who mock grief and death. If someone was unkind to a person who just lost someone...they dont like that. She is connected to the mounds also. Female fairies are supposedly connected to Irish families or were in the past that she laments THEIR deaths and not the deaths of their enemies. Also in Irish legend ONLY families who were of NOBLE birth were honoured by this. Now when we were colonized this changes and she/they only administer to Irish people or families. And is says often she never laments those of anglo saxon blood. In Leinster she is called bean chaointe ...crying woman. Most families connected have the surname o or mac ..but that is just son in irish so all males which names in irish usually have this. There are stories of the geraldines or fitzgeralds hearing a bean sidhe because over the years they became irish and had members who were good at poetry. The AIBELL Is the name of a certain bean sidhe with domain over others. So there is a lot more to a beansidhe she also guards families.

A recent experience , there were two tropical depressions off of the coast of California. The weather was oppressive heat, and I invoked the DAGDA to help with the weather. Less than a minute later the depressions turned to a Hurricane. Then Hurricanes started poping in the Atlantic staying off of the coast exactly as I pictured.
So was this magic ? It happened exactly as envisioned ! Or was it going to do exactly that anyway. This was my furst visit with the DAGDA in this visit.
Realize that the DAGDA did this not me.
It's a big mistake to invoke a god and take a bow for his actions. An the question with the weather is always going to be. Was it going to do that anyway.
If the weather you need happens thank the God you asked for help and don't worry about it.

The reason the Druids didn't write anything down is because it's all available at your nearest Oak Tree. One need at a time.

The Tathua de dannan are permanently connected to the Morigann.
The Lady of feight is beautiful, and going back to Tir na N OG, is great news. Because this is the realm of pain and suffering if you haven't noticed.
This is why today's people think this beautiful Goddess is hideous, but she isn't.
You simply ask the Morigan. To put discord between your enemies and their friends.
A house divided will soon fall. Ask Abe Lincoln.

    Please dont blow this off.
To open up the Universe that you are.
Park your root chakra on the ground avd and your back against the tree head included. Imagin yourself as a root on that tree. Convince yourself that you are that tree! Then meditate. Now you are open and in a position to recive information.
Try this until it make you realize stuff.
Remember you meditating so when you get deluged with information and think your losing your mind. It's OK.
What happens is the tree some how connects your Id to your Conciousness as a adviser. So every unanswered question in your Id gets answered at that point.
Depending on how many questions you have. A information dump that size is scary. Do it until it happens. If you think it might have happened but aren't sure?
It hasn't yet! Theres nothing suttle about this.

My experiences with The Morrigan have shown her to be uncaring, lazy, and irresponsible.
