That was really cool Cheeky, it's sad that paradise is not always paradise for those who live there. You have to walk a mile, before you get anywhere near being qualified to judge true paradise is this World. Or am I just too old. 😕

I agree with you! I’ve never been to Rabaul, but I dream of one day being able to go there!

It’s in the pacific islands- or are you laughing at my pronunciation? I grew up pronouncing it one way, which I think is wrong, so I tried pronouncing it the “right” way in this video, but kept reverting to what I’ve always said…. 🥹

@@CheekyKoala Hey Cheeky, It's rab aal, I was living in Madang when the Volcano went off. I had Chinese owners who had a cousin in Rabaul who taped his home from start to stop. The house and merc parked in the drive , disappeared over the coarse of days just from the ash. Lovely people (Wantoks), beautiful Country, still being screwed by Chinese and every other Expat. 🌴

Looking at the footage from the volcano is kind of frightening! My grandparents lived there in ‘37 when there was the double eruption- they were at a wedding in Rabaul when the eruption started & had to flee up through tunnel hill & to Vunairima whilst the eruption was happening!
