Thank for running these help pages. I have a question that I hope can be explained, I've bought something that states flows 48gallons? How can I, or someone hydraulic able to run such test to know for future attachment purchases?

mm mm 3/8 " hose is actually referring to the internal bore of the hose not the external diameter, 3/8" 2 wire hose manufactured to SAE 100R2 Specifications will have an Outside diameter of around 19 mm or 3/4" inches, hope this helps you.
