Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

She has pretty much reached the point that it's not even safe for her to train against multiple Amazon warriors, but she doesn't know that, and Antiope does know the truth and is proud of her. Antiope thinks training her to realize her full potential is their only chance to defeat Ares.

I never thought I could break a window with my own hand but it was old fashioned glass but I done it to aggressively as I was having a mental breakdown over Auschwitz. That’s how my fully strength was discovered

I wish we could've seen the Amazon Olympics in the movie. The rebirth does such an amazing job at creating a mixture of the greek and new world weapon use. My favorite part is when Hippolyta obtains a handgun and uses it on the three remaining amazons. The champion must be able to evade the weapons of man, of course diana is the only one able to counter the bullet with her trusty bracers of submission. In the last frame Hippolyta asks Diana to parry her shot. We don't get to see Diana do so but we see her being praised the champion of the Amazons as she walks towards her mother dressed in her WW attire about to be gifted with the Lasso of Truth.

heres one of those little slips you never see on the first watching - During the final part of the training scene just as Diana does her blowback thing, her hair goes from hanging down her back to sitting in front of her right shoulder to back down behind her back. No intervention on her part, you can even see how the editing was done so the back shot (showing her hair back down her back) shows her arms still uncrossing. Clearly what this means is that its her hair which is powerfull. Orrrr it was just an unfortunate glitch that the editing team didnt notice or think was important enough to fix

I don’t understand what some of ya’ll are talking about. She WAS supposed to bring out her true powers. Her mother had second thoughts about the training thats why she reacted like that, but the amazons looking at her were merely surprised at best, but not angry. Hence Menalippe’s smile at 2:23
