i really like the way you put the subject in front of the sun. my favorite video y shot is Marry did y know? when the lead singers come, all others r out of focus and i can’t see their faces! yr videos definitely adds OVCC popularity
I have a 100 million views video of me in a Jigsaw costume chasing my dog. Everything is possible these days 😂. But Nick i’m into cars last couple of weeks working with some top brands like Porsche and Bentley. I just ordered the new Sony a7S so learning alot of stuff now thanks to guys like you. I was wondering if you could do a cinematic car shoot video from a car that’s not moving. What frames you record it in , what frames for slow motion and things like that. Would love to see that 😊👍
Any artist can record a cover of any song that they want. There is no license that they need to get, but once the video is on RUclips, the original artist can claim song, and they either take all of the revenue that the cover artist would have received or part of it, and that is up to the original artist to decide. I’ve had a client that has two videos that have over 50 million views. One of the videos has made them a lot of money, whereas the other one has made them almost no money because the original artist claimed 100% of the revenue from the song. Hope this helps!
@@AeviumFilms That's right, however, publishers often make copyright claims and try to take down cover songs videos - even for fair use cases like educational purposes, if any of the originally recorded material is there - example, you sing over a backing track - it's very plausible to get your video taken down if the song is big. Search for Rick Beato channel he is an expert music producer and YT and himself a target of publishers like EMI on a regular basis for doing nothing else than playing the chord progressions or riffs of certain songs in order to teach some musical concept (not kidding). Finally, you could purchase the rights from the artist - although only corporations like Disney does this... if you're rich or the song isn't that popular yet. Also you can always try to contact the original artist before you post your cover. It's worth a try. If I was an artist with a solid career, I'd be much more compelled to give up some revenue to a talented newcomer if they reached out to me before posting. Since all celebrities or almost are on social media now, it's not as impossible as it sounds. Twitter especially works well for this because you're almost 100% certain that it's actually the artist behind the account - which is never the case on FB of course. Just copy a private link and send it to them, they'll share it if they like it.

You do a great job with the choir videos! Do you get royalty from your videos?
Who is this client of you named Mika? (Sorry if I spelled that incorrectly)
I would like to check out his channel.
Are you part of Full time flimmaker?
I was on their team for a bit but now I’m doing my own thing
Great video. Question though, how do copyright challenges effect a “cover” music video and its views and/or monetization?

Interesting. Very informative. I’ve always been curious how that works. Thanks!
