I love the guitar solo so much. The vibrato was perfect, phrasing was spot on, tone was absolutely beautiful. I want more of that in my life.

Haim Full Este's definitely not a bad singer. I like hearing hers and Alana's voice take the lead every once in awhile 👍 I think they stick to Danielle being the lead not just because her voice is stronger but also because her voice is more unique. There's nothing unique to Este's or Alana's voice and it wouldn't fit the songs that's they make. They all play a part in the band producing good quality music but Danielle's talent is the thing that makes them standout.
T G gonna have to disagree, they are all very unique I think. Alana had this southern growl when she sings and proves this in their "go slow" performances and she fits running if you call my name perfectly. There is so much emotion in her voice in that song. Estes voice is the smoothest of all 3 and the highest you could say. She's amazing at sort of pop orientated songs
Yeah, you should listen to some of the older/ unreleased songs like "Figure It Out," "Stop," "When We Were Young"... Este used to sing lead then and she sounded AMAZING. My guess is that Este's singing voice doesn't flourish in the context of live performance, so maybe that's why she mostly sings backup now. Still, I hope she starts singing lead more in the future, I love her voice!
Alana's voice... is more of an acquired taste, but she sounds wonderful on "Want You Back" and like you pointed out, those live versions of "Go Slow."
Kiki Lerer I love Este's voice. It's smooth, warm and low. On "Want You Back", she reminded me of Joni and Sara Bareilles
