- The 2005 Suzuki GSX 600r is a bike that needs no introduction. This is a bike that has blazed its own trail right from the beginning of the race replica models from the 80's. It started at racetracks far from Suzuki’s Hamamatsu, Japan headquarters. A group of dedicated Suzuki engineers on an overseas fact-finding mission wandered through paddocks and spectator parking lots, looking at motorcycles and watching races. A bike that is born from the track but very comfortable on the street. While the engine is flexible, strong and useful, the 600 will appeal to a certain type of rider; one that likes to make engines scream, change gear at every corner and work the bike hard. But what’s most impressive about the 600 is its motor. Rather than cheat and add a few extra cc, Suzuki has decided to use a bit of cunning by lightening the internal components to help the engine rev faster. Compared to all the other bikes here the 600 is the screamer of the bunch. Given its capacity, this is only to be expected, but even so the GSX-R still has a decent amount of mid-range before, in true GSX-R fashion, hitting its sweet spot at around 8000rpm and going banzai. The 600 turns quickly and has the same balanced and neutral feeling in corners with loads of feedback from the front end. Compared to the rest of the 600s, the Suzuki is slightly larger with a roomier riding position, but rather than hinder the bike it actually helps the rider move around more easily, which is both a help in corners and makes the bike reasonably comfortable for day-to-day riding and even commuting. Purchased my 04' 600 in 2007, still have it and love the thing. Far from mint condition but far from stock as well. Awesome model year.

I bought the same bike in the same color with 7k miles. It was dropped and wouldn't start after the previous owner fried the computer when trying to jump start it. Paid $2500 and another $125 for a computer on ebay, spark plugs, oil and new coolant, new fuel pump and it starts up perfectly.
If you want a sports bike Thats Aggressive but not as aggressive as a gsxr600 / 750 then a Suzuki gsx600f / 750 is also a perfect bike they are comfortable fun bikes with the right pipe and sprocket setup you'll be able to give the gsxr600 zx6 r6 a good run my brother has a Suzuki gsxr750 my son has a Honda cbr600rr and i have a Suzuki gsx600f all fun bikes im also a fan of the older sports bikes they sound amazing with the right 4 in 1 header and exhaust
