It also lets us watch the worst ways to go when we don't dare to ourselves. Any game with lots of deaths should always have that one guy doing these videos.

The hole from John's dreams in his backyard, the centipede demon's secret death animation, and looking through the neighbors windows really shocked me. I didn't know anything that violent was in the game, and I have 26 hours in this game.

Yeah, it's a Horror. The note you read that causes it to appear confirms that Faith and Dusk take place in the same universe (and in episode 2 you can find graffiti of the Dusk symbol in one of the rooms of the Candy Tunnel).
It's actually Micheal, if you kill him at the end of chapter 1, Micheal will get shot by John, then he will fall on the road before being hit by a truck. The cops find the destroyed body of Demon Micheal but they couldn't figure out what his dead body was due to the transformation, so they classified his dead body as a chupacabra
yeah, if you didnt know, the style is called rotoscoping, which is basically where you just film a live actor and then draw over the outline of them. it really contrasts the atari art style of the rest of the game.
1) Transform into a demon 2) after leaving that dark weird place, instead of going to the candy tunnel, go all the way back. DON'T return to your human form, or else you won't be able to get there. These actions are needed for the bad ending
TLDR: if you break the 3 seals you can access the crucible to defeat Gary in his real form; after dealing some damage Malphas will appear as well - during this fight John has 1 HP, as always. After defeating Gary/Malphas, they will fuse together with Miriam's corpse and create the real final boss. This fight is very hard, so programmers gave John 10 HP (I think), and whenever you're hit the game will show the praying animation, to keep track of how much life is left before dying.
