Hi, StarNone! I just used a GoPro Karma Grip and held it while I ran. I ran well over a lap so I could try to find a good transition point to make it as smooth as possible, and ended up using different transition points for the audio and video.
No, Rohan! I explained in the video description that I ran about 1.5 laps and clipped 1 lap out of it that had a beginning and end that overlapped fairly well, and then looped it over and over. There was a game scheduled and players and fans started arriving right after I got the 1.5 laps recorded.
That's a fair question. I've run on tracks many times since the 1970's, and I have pleasant memories of it. Now that I can no longer drive safely, I can rarely go because I don't want to impose on my family to take me often, so I do almost all my running on my treadmill. I created this video for myself, so I can watch it sometimes while I'm on my treadmill, and I shared it on this channel because I thought some other people might like it, too. Not many, but a few. Based on 70 hours of watch time so far, it seems I was right. As for why I made it ten hours, I just wanted to see if I could do it, and I wanted to make sure it was long enough to last as long as anyone might ever want to watch it.. It multiple days to render and upload, and I had to start over a couple of times, but I finally got it.
Awesome! Thanks -- I look forward to using this once I get my treadmill. Hope you're doing ok
Thank you, Hermulus!! I expect to split my use of virtual running videos between this and the ones on nature trails.
The footsteps sound so cute 😊❤
I followed your videos from researching this brand. I just hope you’re doing OK and in good health. I like your videos a lot.
Hi John, hope you're well. All the best!
Cool video! Would be interesting to see the setup that goes into making such a sequence.
