This was my intro to NF when it first dropped. He was the artist/inspiration I had been look for my entire life. Can't describe how much he's actually changed my life. Forever grateful.
Caught your NF reaction to "When I grow up", watched you Clouds reaction and subscribed. I like your straigh forward no BS comments... And yeah, I just caught NF this year and tell all of my cowerkers about him - crazy because I am a metal head that plays guitar.
Anton's attempt to describe the emotional influence and descriptiveness of NF's songs can be responded to with "Forgive me, I know I get animated" NF's outro to Perception. Mansion is 5.5 minutes of metaphor that beats all depth and description. The ability to storytell is also something NF has, delivered perfectly with Intro 3 (Where NF has a heated conversation with fear and buries fear in his backyard "or back of my mind, depends how you see it" and locks fear out of his Mansion) and STORY (gas station robbery). The combination is perfect: intense compositions with smoothly rapped lyrics about rough life. So many hard hitting lyrics that go non-stop for 4 minutes. Anton says it's so gorgeous and so cold at the same time. "When it comes to story telling I'm great at it. Get tuned in or get tuned out."-THAT'S A JOKE. And "The flow is so cold you would think it was snowing. I've got an umbrella for difficult moments... You better watch your step when I- hold on my balloons and cover up my face, they keep weighing on me me every day."-Leave Me Alone. The Search is a perfect combination with perfect delivery and that's why it has me on repeat spitting it over and over, enjoying it more and more yet also feeling it more and more and more every time. It's even life changing! "I am the voice of all the kids who think things but never say em. That's why they come to my shows wearing their NF hoodies and hats low like their carrying weapons!... Now you ain't ignoring, you're following... This is for the kids who feel like they're spending their everyday at the bottom, feel like it's darker than Halloween! You ain't alone out there!"-Outro (Perception) I could keep going on and on with these beautiful deep quotes but I've got my depressing rut to get back to.
If you really want to listen to NF you need to do the unofficial Journey it takes you through the first 4 albums in sequence which you need to do if you want to pick up on all of the meaning and symbolism in his work as he interconnects his songs. - Mansion Album Intro 1 All I Have Mansion Wait Wake Up Notepad Paralyzed I’ll Keep On Can You Hold Me Futuristic - Epiphany - Therapy Session Album Intro 2 Therapy Session I Just Wanna Know How Could You Leave Us Breath Real Grinding Oh Lord Statement Warm Up - Perception Album Outro Intro 3 Green Lights Outcast Let You Down Destiny If You Want Love Remember This No Name - The Search Album Why The Search Leave Me Alone Change Time Returns When I Grow Up Interlude & Hate Myself I Miss The Days No Excuses Paid My Dues Clouds Mix Tape is not part of the unofficial Journey so all songs are fair game :-)
This guy just doesn't miss, genuinely never heard a bad song from him. Think you might need to take a trip down the NF journey Anton!! ;-) Love your reactions as always!
You are so estute (showing shrewdness and an ability to notice and understand things clearly ) in picking up on all the idiosyncrasies... (characteristics, habits, mannerisms, or the like, that is peculiar to an individual) you know the thing lol... great reaction.. ;)
The shopping cart is a portable cage. There was a shot in the beginning of the video of a cage in the background. He's walking away from it with the cart. Great reaction love from Cali.
I love NF. This song was my introduction to him also. I'd recommend checking out "Atmosphere". The song " Love Life" from the album "God Loves Ugly" is a deep one. Although most of Atmospheres stuff is deep but that track is a good one.
Try some music by YES one of the greatest progressive rock groups of all time and my favorite band. You haven't reacted to them at all. They have many long songs that are masterpieces. Not your usual music. Some good ones include "Roundabout", "Close to the Edge", "The Gates of Delirium". "Awaken", "Turn of the Century"... Loads of good ones.
What a good guess! It is filmed in Iceland 😁 His producer is Tommee Profitt, also his best friend. Tommee does the arrangements of the instruments, but Nate works very closely with him and comes up with what he wants. They are brilliant together. You should go onto Tommee's RUclips channel. He has some behind the scenes videos of how some of NF's songs were created. I definitely relate to NF much, much better than I do to Em. Em use to be my favorite rapper until I got hooked onto NF in 2020. Now I am a huge obsessed fan of his! Saw him in concert last Sept. He was incredible!
This is my favorite NF song! The video is a visual masterpiece filmed in Iceland. The black balloons are his burdens. The strings in this song are Epic!! You should check out Tom MacDonald songs "Balloons" and "Cancer".
Leave me alone is the next song and video continuation of The Search. You should also check out Interlude and Hate Myself on this album. Interlude is a quick 50 sec video of Nate just recording on his phone some heavy revaluations of his life at the time, then it leads into Hate Myself. Powerful song. This entire album is pure 🔥. Great reaction my guy!
Oh, also, next one to react to that goes with this one is "Leave Me Alone". If you start over and do the journey from the beginning with the Mansion album you would get so much more out of his music
Hey Anton, You sound experienced enough to add some true context to Wikipedia's page on the Search album. Random I know, but I was just on it yesterday and the whole introduction is trash. It is based on the 5 loser critics who professionally reviewed the album. Unbelievable how off it is as far as real life! It has like 2 stars and shit. Anyways, nice reaction. Enjoyed it very much. Leave Me Alone is the continuation of this song. All best.

Same introduction song, sad that it took me a year to realize all his songs are that good.
Finally!! You're my favorite reactor and NF is my favorite! He doesn't miss. Everyone song hits you right in the feels.
Ohhhh, I was so happy to see this pop up in my notifications today!! Love your insight as always, Anton!!
It's your empathic side that makes you feel it... not everyone has that kind of connection to people they have never met. LOVE it!!
The end of this makes a little more sense when you watch the video for Leave Me Alone.
🔥🔥💯💯 Reaction NFrealmusic 💯💯
your very good at breaking things down
I admire his lyrical genius and courage. NF+Tommee Profitt=Masterpiece Thanx so much, Peace
Caught your NF reaction to "When I grow up", watched you Clouds reaction and subscribed. I like your straigh forward no BS comments... And yeah, I just caught NF this year and tell all of my cowerkers about him - crazy because I am a metal head that plays guitar.
Just subscribed for NF!!! He's gotten me through so much these last several yrs as I dealt with depression and anxiety
I am 60 and still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. We are all still kids inside. Nice.
NF yesssss!!!!

astute my friend. Love ya.
This visual is actually Nate in his head... 'backyard'
of his mind wandering in the wilderness....
looking 4 the 'promised land' perhaps?

You should check out Tom Macdonald… he describes anxiety and depression really well
I’m so glad that you came back to reacting to NF! Thinking about joining the Patreon so I can request some more NF and maybe and album reaction!
I love NF. This song was my introduction to him also. I'd recommend checking out "Atmosphere". The song " Love Life" from the album "God Loves Ugly" is a deep one. Although most of Atmospheres stuff is deep but that track is a good one.
Only, change and let me go. Time is my wife’s song to me.
