Would love to see a detailed build out of the power management set up in the back. I was looking at doing the exact same set up. I have an Ursa Minor top, full goose gear plate system and goose gear set up in rear like the jeep in the video. Thanks regardless!
@@tikigonzo hey Mike, If you reach out to us through Instagram send us a private message and we can get you a detailed layout of the electronics. We haven't had the chance to make a video on it yet.
I ordered a 60% delete plate system and I’m looking to do a similar setup with power in one of the cubbies. The fact that you fit a renogy 100ah battery under there is great news because I’m using the same battery. Thanks for this video!
Great video. 2021 JLUR, full Goose Gear (no rear seats), and fridge on a slider in the same spot as yours. I'm drooling over the camp kitchen setup. I might have to hop over the Hudson River to pay you guys a visit soon. :)
It's amazing how many people asked for a walkthrough of the power system (as you said we should in the video) but it was never done. Can you help me understand why?
definitely need to do a follow-up video on the redarc system! looks like you just did the BCDC charger and not the full redvision mgmt system, which is what i'm currently designing for my JK. Curious, what is your water supply/system?
Hey there, the kit is available on our site. It is the Rhino-Rack Backbone and GP Factor mounting setup. Here is the link: ok4wd.com/brands/gp-factor/jeep-accessories/gp-factor-jk-jl-alu-cab-rtt-mounting-brackets
You could probably fit a tank in the Jeep and a pump for showers for sure. Lots of people are using Geyser System showers, they pack quite a punch in a very little package.
The Jerry Can has a manual pump to pressurize the Jerry Can. The is fuel storage around the spare and AEV bumpers do have a water tank option that also has a manual pump.
Awesome jeep I was just wondering do you work on any Suzuki samurai’s at all please let me know I have a 1988 Suzuki samurai and 35s I wanted to do some over landing with it later on in the future
Not if your parked due south. This is the case for nearly every home that has solar either on the roof or on the ground. The efficiencies of using a solar tracker to move with the sun are of minimal gain.
The tent weighs 180lbs, the awning 40, the rear seats were removed, and a fridge was added, so possibly total without actually weighing each item we'll say we added 525lbs. You could certainly still tow a small trailer. My question is, how much gear are you trying to bring?

Would love to hear more details about the electronics/solar/switch/battery etc config. This jeep is the perfect build! Nice video.
We will work on on that thanks!
That Recon package looks so good and that goose gear fits so nice in there
Great presentation. A lot of manufacturers to name off and you did it very well.
We appreciate that! It takes a whole crew of awesome companies to build a Jeep like this
Outstanding build.
We think so too!
Really nice build. Great presentation. Need to give you guys a visit one of this days. Greetings from New York.
Hey thank you! Swing through when you can!

@@ok4wd any updates on electronics build out on this rig? Wanting to order this exact set up from you but want to see how it all works together

Please do!
Sweet Jeep!
It sure is!
Yes more build tours.
You got it!
TY. I'd like to see builds on may be Sock or Willys. These are affordable jeeps vs new Rubicon.
We'd like to see that content too, got one for us to work on!?
Really nice built. But I wonder how many "Ultimate" Jeep Build's are on the planet ;-)
More than you can imagine LOL

I’m afraid to say that Jeep got out of our hands before we could do another video.

Currently, the water supply is a simple Life Saver Jerry Can the has a hand pump to pressurize the Jerry Can and filter the water.
Nice build! Could you please send me a list of the products you used to build the roof rack. Thank you

what about a water tank for showers?

As long as we can source reputable/quality parts we will work on it.
since you didn't lift it it would be nice to add a airlift bag so the back will not sagged
Yep, good idea! It’ll def need a lift later.
Nice set up what lift😮kit would u go with all the heavy gear on ?
Old Man Emu BP-51 shocks with AEV High Copacity Springs is an ideal combo when offroading and carrying gear.
@ok4wd sounds great probably goin to get same set up springs n shocks
Solar on roof sucks..the sun moves all day long....
Not if your parked due south. This is the case for nearly every home that has solar either on the roof or on the ground. The efficiencies of using a solar tracker to move with the sun are of minimal gain.
Due to weight this build can no longer tow anything correct?
The tent weighs 180lbs, the awning 40, the rear seats were removed, and a fridge was added, so possibly total without actually weighing each item we'll say we added 525lbs. You could certainly still tow a small trailer. My question is, how much gear are you trying to bring?
What’s the total price to build this out minus the jeep coat
This was a very extensive build, for the full details visit >> ok4wd.com/blog/?p=2020-jeep-jlu-rubicon
Whats the weight capacity on the roof top tent and ladder?
ladder is rated for 330lbs, the weight weight on for the tent is really determined by the load bars under the tent. The load bars are rated at 750lbs.

How much does that gas caddy hold?

is this jeep for sale?
this is a customer's build, just a highlight video showcasing the build. Currently, the water system is the Life Saver Jerry Can.
Am I the only one that's sick of seeing rooftop tents?🤷 It's like the tramp stamp of the 2020s
Oh no LOL
