By that logic, It obviously stands to reason that it is popular there, as per marketing, and also produced there. Regardless of being derived from the Italian ferrero brand - which has manufacturing based in both Germany and Italy - It isn't exactly hard to say it's yes and no situation, and deduce it's both. In any case, the whole rebuttal of Meaning nothing is nonsense coupled with the obviously German popularity. Similarly, it's how Apple is seen as an American brand, yet has pretty much most of the operation going on outsourced elsewhere and had quite the Chinese market presence. Marketing is everything, buddy. Once again, just because it's founded in Italy doesn't detract from the German popularity or its manufacturing in Germany.

i never knew that's how beef stroganoff is made. but the recipe he just used for "beef stroganoff" is one that my college dorm mate used to make. like, the exact recipe, using tuna instead of beef.
honestly blew my mind when that is actually how beef stroganoff is made.

Beef stroganoff is a russian dish but russian dishes are extremely inspired by the french as tsars back in the day were huge fans of french cooking and employed many french chefs at the time. So it's french cuisine but a russian dish.

About beef stroganoff! I'm russian, and i would be happy to classify this dish as russian cuisine, but that's complicated. Historically, beef stroganoff is the classic French fricassée de boeuf (as someone pointed out in comments), but the recipe itself was perfected in Russia.
By the way, russian cuisine took a lot from French! For example, classic soviet dish cutlets and mashed potatoes (puree) is completely French

FYI: Jambalaya can be made many ways, but the chief distinction between Cajun and Creole jambalaya is that the Cajun version has no tomatoes and the Creole version uses them. There are, of course, people that are passionate about one way versus the other. I'm, not, because they're both good. I have a preference for the no-tomato variety, but I'll eat either one.
