I was looking at SHO’s and went with an e-85 n/a 3.5L V6 taurus and spent 5k on different mods. Now onto a q50. Taurus is great. Mines 2014’ with tint / sunset metalic orange / big nitto tires/ dark grey aftermarket 19’s. tuner chip / cold air intake/ ngk plugs/ modified air pocket for intake. After 180k miles of driving I can say i’ve spent $250 outside of preventative maintenance. it’s been reliable and pretty versatile and its clearly just passing half way through it’s life. I was hard on the suspension when i lived in the city it’s turning into a rough ride . The big cold air intake and box made it sound like a 5.0. Took it 800 miles in 11 hours stopping and taking all of the time I wanted outside the car. Had the cruise set at 130 for nearly 50 miles at one point and car ran very well besides the aerodynamics. Doesn’t like running cold , takes forever to warm up. That taurus can make some good power though and get some impressive fuel mileage down the highway for its weight. Cant complain about the trunk either. The whole reason i side with it over the others is the amount of size doesn’t equate to all weight with it , it’s lighter than the charger and chrysler 300, longer and wider. It was a beast when I got caught in a bad snow storm once traveling across country. Selling it here soon so i don’t have to dump money into rotors and struts.

Ray Hansen Because some of us already have a car we're happy with, and aren't shopping for another one. For someone who just likes cars, it's nice to know what "Joe blow from Kokomo" thinks of new cars..
I think what we are all trying to say is.. The Ford Taurus comes in AWD, and not ONLY in the SHO model. You can get the 3.5L Naturally Aspirated TI-VCT V6 with AWD.. and its cheaper than the 300C/300S AWD models. I believe for the trim level needed for the AWD model, the sticker is still under $30k.
We've had all three companies in my house at some point in time and to tell you the truth we trust nothing except the Ford! It was the only one that stood tall and still standing till this day despite the heat and sand storms we have regularly here in my country. The only problem we've experienced with the Ford was the AC and the battery. Other than that it is still my always first choice! :)
Same with us here in Arizona. The heat just eats batteries. The heat is also a great burden on any AC. I've had the same issues with Lexus and Honda here in AZ. I love our Taurus SEL.
Tommy Ven Detta which way did you go? I have an opportunity to buy a 2013 Taurus limited(no awd) dirt cheap and in good condition. Ive don’t have the opportunity to choose between the 3 lol, just want to know if you got the Taurus and if you like it.
@Moh lachi Yeah, which one did you go with if you don't mind us asking. I dont know, I think I really like the Impala LTZ. It's luxurious and sporty. I love the drive train of the 300c obviously but the cosmetics just don't do it for me, inside or out...
I like the front end of the Impala but I'd take the Chrysler 300, it's rear or Awd like a large car should have. Plus a V8 option. It looks the classiest out of the 3. I owned a 92 Chrysler Fifth Avenue premier and it was the most comfortable and reliable car I owned. I now prefer trucks and large suv's, as I have four kids. But I would definitely suggest a large car to them when they get ready to drive, it's a safety tank and has the build quality much better usually then small cars. It won't make you feel like something is lacking, room, comfort, options, solid feel and power. Most now have good gas mileage as well. I hope they don't discontinue big cars as well.
@@roboticvenom1935 well considering the impala is the highest trim level, the taurus sho would be apples to apples considering they’re the highest trim level
Do tell. I don't believe I've ever heard a complementary story about a Ford Taurus. I'm actually as old as the Ford Taurus, and in my 3 and a half decades of life, I've never heard one single person say "I love my Taurus."
My midlife crisis was a 2015 200c, velvet red with the v6 and all of safety Tec ,lighting and park assistant 19" wheels. Everything but the sunroof... now my lovely wife has the 17 Pacifica after the lease was up. I miss my boo boo.
oh Yeah Yeah People like you I don’t understand it was designed originally back in the Daimler Chrysler merger the 300 isn’t or is based on a fiat yes fiat owns Chrysler but that doesn’t mean every car is made or is based on a fiat what about you take some time and research the platform sharing for FCA products
@@wamuu6090 that doesn't mean it's good, European cars are junk, unless German, but those are expensive to repair, just buy a ford/chevy like a normal person, Chrysler has always been junk, nothing has changed
@@ohyeahyeah8054 yes, because it's not a Fiat at all, you dolt. Try researching before running your mouth about things you clearly have no knowledge of.
Have you even driven the new 300? They're not cheap plastic at all. Chrysler has moved away from cheap plastic and almost everything(aside from a few minor pieces) is soft-touch material. I agree with you on the Ford and Chevy, though. Impala looks great, and Taurus is ridiculously outdated.
Clay Martin The soft touch is nice but I'd like to murder the guy who decided the texture of the dash on the 300, you can scrub and scrub at is and it seems like you never get everything out of the nooks. But yeah, everyone that's ever gotten into my car has complemented how nice it is on the inside.
Michael Davis that's true. Jeep has done that stuff too. Luckily they're doing leather/soft touch instead of that weird plastic texture stuff. Lol That was a big mistake.
The grand Cherokee is soooo nice. Every time I see one I get jelly. Test drove one last year. I like the way it wraps you in. I'm at a cross road right now though. I'm either going to trade in my 2012 300 and get the he I or super charging my v6 for a nice sleeper. Torn lol
those 2 arent even in the same league as the chrysler. Chrysler competes with cadiilacs and lincolns. A v6 charger wouldve been a better option and review.
Durk Dockman Lincoln isn't anymore luxury than Chrysler. Cadillac is still fighting for it but it hasn't been doing as well as they should to be considered luxury.
Durk Dockman Yeah that's how GM has been trying to redefine their brands but Buick is faltering and Caddy probably won't get anywhere until their flagship big boy sedan is in production.
***** Buick is doing quite well sales-wise. Buick's products are becoming quite dated though. And since their products are all quite old they are also a big cash cow(like trucks).
seriously its disgusting to me how people do see that the Chrysler is the cream of the crop but believe all their ford and chevy butt buddies and can't honestly think for themselves
I like Strawberry Ice cream. I need a AWD and the 8 speed Hemi sedan. I need a remote starter and electric heated leather seats cause I live in NY and the winters are notorious.
soaringtractor Some truck drivers have 18 speeds. So maybe a retired truck driver that's tired of shifting. I never bought the car, I got my 5 speed automatic Honda civic LX and I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I love it, how easy it is to find parking the gas milage and the 5 speed.
soaringtractor stick shift sucks. Like I said, I'm keeping my Honda civic LX. That automatic 5 speed actually downshifts going down a hill and lets the engine brake it. Like a computer senses it. Most automatics I drove around here just run away and burn the brakes out till the fade and you can't stop on some of these Mountain hills, like in the Catskills. Believe me, I drove a stick shift though accidents and road construction enough to know how they suck. That's why everybody spends the extra grand for the automatic. At the time I wrote that, everybody around here with the big Dodges were running me off the road, that's why I wanted to step up. But seems now they all got the big Ford sitting in the driveway and bought a compact car to actually drive around and leave the truck at home for Homedept errands. So if they like it or not, I'm keeping my Honda civic LX
I just said that, even the word homedepot, sheez. I know the deal, that's why I got both to. I just choose the Honda civic first. I can't drive more that a hour before I'm sick of it. I don't see the joy of driving a vehicle on Sundays.
Yea I do that. Meat alot of girls that way today. But mostly I work on my sailboat or mini bike, click my name and see my mini bike after I shoot my M&P9 VTAC at home.
The Taurus is from 2010, the 300 has been getting update after update without a totally new vehicle since 2005, and the Impala was a totally new design for 2015.
Aussie Four Wheelers oh I agree the Chrysler is the nicest. But no more AWD with a Hemi! Just the V6. But it’s a very good V6! Plus the AWD does come with slightly lower gearing to even out the extra weight. In the rwd you get 2:92 gears, in the AWD 3:09. The Impala is a very nice automobile and so is the Taurus, that does come in more levels, performance being the top. But a Hemi Powered 300 will run with the SHO all day! Just as long as the weather is dry.
@@BW-fz5kf Actually the 8 speed ZF transmission Chrysler designed when they still owned Benz is actually one of the smoothest most reliable transmissions you can buy today. The old first generation 300 has the old 5 speed transmission that was the bad transmission. The 8 speed ZF transmission normally lasts well over 150k miles before having any issues and is able to withstand up to 900HP. Out of these 3 vehicles 2015 and up id put my money on the Chryslers transmission lasting the longest.
+Carl Stallins No offense, but I dont think anyone who is looking at these brand new cars will care about that considering the warranties. All three of those cars have a 5 year, 60,000 mile power train warranty.
***** People get so wound up about American cars not being made in America. The Mercedes C, GL, M and R class' are assembled in Alabama so I guess by his logic Mercedes is now an American brand, haha
***** Do Chrysler still exist ? Isn't it now FCA US LLC ? It's wholly owned by Italian automaker, Fiat. Which, you must admit, is a strong argument for calling it Italian.
Ok..FWD makes so much more sense than RWD for 99% of the people on the road. Since most major cities see snow during the winter, RWD would spin out when FWD can get through most situations with the right tires.
Lay down on your stomach and try to pull yourself with your arms, pretty easy right? Then try to push yourself with your feet. Since the majority of cars are front engine it makes sense for front wheel drive. Unless you want to make some real power then that concept is out of the window.
I've test driven both the 300 and the impala, and by God is the impala superior in every way. Feels more roomy, powerful, and overall well built. The 300 does look amazing though
Have you driven the 5.7L or 6.4L 300? It's a blast. I've never driven an Impala, so I know I can't comment on that, but I've driven the 300 A LOT and it's a great vehicle. Surprisingly fast, roomy, comfortable, and impressive fuel economy(27.5mpg combined with spirited driving, thanks to the cylinder deactivation when cruising). One thing I hate about it though, is how quickly it destroys tires. It's extremely heavy so it wears tires out like crazy. And that's partly because stock tires are usually super cheap to begin with.
Clay Martin You might hate what i will say but i have driven the 300 with the 5.7l and it feels to me like its trying to be a cadillac. So if it was my cash id go for the caddy even taught there more expensive lol
matthebest018 I see what you mean but I don't completely agree. Lol Chrysler is trying to define each of their brands into what they are known for or what they want them to be known for. Chrysler has always been more like GMC in how it's slightly higher luxury than the other sister brands, so they're making Chrysler into more of an (sort of)affordable entry level luxury brand. Jeep is the off road capable brand, like always. And Dodge is the high performance brand. I definitely see what you mean about it seeming like it wants to be a Cadillac, though. Haha
It's pretty close. I looked at the official sites. A 2015 Charger R/T with the 5.7 V-8 is $32.5k, and a 2014 300 V-6 is $31.5k (no listing for at 2015 300 yet). I would go for the Charger at those prices.
goatmonkey2112 Yes the Charger will have the 3.5l V6 engine for their base model and go to 5.7l V8 engine for the best configuration you can get from them. I think the V8 version of 300 will cost more than the V8 Charger consider that the 300 looks more luxurious than the Charger, but we'll see later. It's hard to conclude which one to get though as they both look awesome! But in terms of reliability nobody knows about it yet because they are still Chrysler. :(
How can you not go with the 300 over those other old man mobiles? Chrysler 300 is a traditional RWD American muscle car, with refined European touches, beautiful mixture of class, executive, luxury and sport. The impala and Taurus don't even come close too lol. The 300 turns heads as it drives, the impala and Taurus get lost on the road with every other vehicle. Just look at that 300, it's comparable to the CTS, 5 Series, S4, MKS, it's just light years ahead in styling and composure of these other cars. It's the reason why at car shows you see Challengers, Chargers and 300s. When's the last time you've seen a Taurus or Impala at a car show unless it's parked across the road at the hardware store?
+soaringtractor i personally own a 2015 300s and who said you cant fit 3 kids in there lol you gotta be kidding right and this car is really nice it turns alot of heads like if it was a freaking beantly or something this car is one of a kind, and im a chevy guy but Chrysler really pulled it of gotta give it up to them when its due!!
+ChevyLS1454 same here man. Always been a Chevy guy and love my modded vette but mopar really has some kick ass cars right now. Bought a new 2012 200s and then got a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a hemi and two weeks ago my wife and I saw the new 300 at the la auto show and fell in love. Went in last week and ordered a 2016 300C Platinum. Beautiful car
+soaringtractor my Mopars have been nothing but solid. 0 issues with nothing other than regular maintenance needed. They all drive smooth, have more options than other cars in their segment and have filled my needs which is really all that matters to me.
+soaringtractor expensive is a relative term. Everyone will have their definition of expensive. If its more than what you persinally would or could pay that one thing. If you pay msrp for new cars than you don't know how to shop for new cars.
WarmSoftKitty Plain and simple, not all of us live in California. RWD cars suck in bad weather. They basically don't even sell RWD cars in Canada in various cold weather climates because of this.
Jonathan Teal But the Taurus SHO is the best and most expensive upgrade for the Taurus, while the Hellcat is the best and most expensive upgrade for the Hellcat, so the Charger is better. And no it wouldn't. They would be around equal, but there is no point in talking about that because you can't go higher than 40k with a Taurus anyways unless you use a third party company.
+Richard Jordan The Charger isn't even in this review... You may claim it's the same platform as the 300 but that is not the point of this review. Anyway, obviously the intent of putting another 25k into the SHO is for aftermarket parts and tune. With that work, the SHO will kill the Hellcat on the street. More power + all wheel drive launch will beat a 707 hp skinny tired rwd any day. I'd still rather the Hellcat personally, but I'm not naïve enough to think it would win that battle.
DATDesign Chevy paid big money to have their cars featured in that 2hr chevy commercial known as 'Transformers'. It worked to boost Camaro sales big time, now they're trying to squeeze every bit they can from the movie.
1. Chrysler 300c (AWD) Platinum 2. Ford Taurus SHO 3. Chevy Impala LTZ Ps for future videos to get the car to rev up higher... turn off the traction control that will allow you to rev up the engine fully
I know this video is 8 years old but I have a 2020 Impala premier, fully loaded. Its a really good car. Big, handles ok, lots of features, looks good, good gas mileage, can easily keep up with traffic and is overall just an easy car to live with. I bought mine new back in june 2020. Everyone is buy suv's and trucks and now that GM no longer makes these, they are kinda hard to find with low mileage.
My 2015 Taurus SHO has been a blast so far. I tinted the windows since I live in Miami and I got the Ignot Silver so now it looks like an undercover cop car so people get out of the left lane when I come up on them. Double win! :)
Chassis wise, both the Taurus and 300 are showing their age - both were introduced in 2005 on their current platform, with the Taurus having a major body change over it's Volvo based platform that was introduced as the Ford Five Hundred the same year the Chrysler 300 was introduced on it's MB W211 platform. And yes, both can be had with AWD in popular trim levels... MB 4-Matic for the 300 and the Haldex system Volvo is known for under the Taurus. Last year for the aging Taurus as we see it now.
The TAURUS really looks outdated for 2 reasons: 1) No lane change lights on side mirrors... 2) Ugly grey plastic molding on bottom of chassis, running the whole length! IF they changed this, man would it be BETTER!!!
Derek Decker So I put a slightly satirical username on a youtube account and you think my opinion is void? You must realize how much of a penis that makes you look?
Impala for looks, Impala for reliability, Impala for quality, 300 for power, Taurus for fuel economy. I would take the Impala over either of the other two. I am hoping that since GM has retired the SS that they do an SS edition of the Impala. It doesn't need an INSANE amount of power. Maybe 450-500 :)
I was recently in the market for a new car. I researched and test drove all three of these and some others. After careful deliberation I chose the Chrysler 300 Hemi. It is far and above a better car for the money. Actually I just drove a BMW 5 series and an Audi A6. The Chrysler is probably more on par with those cars then the impala or the Taurus. For the money it was a no-brainer!
I'm a massive Ford fan and while I really like the Taurus I can't wait for the revamp in 2016 where they finally shed the Volvo platform for the Fusion platform. Its a very old car and it has its problems. That's not to say its a lousy car, its just a car that doesn't live up to its potential. With how Ford has been knocking it out of the park with all these revamps I sure hope the car finally lives up to its potential. Great work by Chevy and Chrysler, too, these cars are far better than prior versions.
I have the 3.6 Pentastar in my 2015 Caravan and I love it! She's got almost 300,000kms and I've never had a single issue with it. 100% reliable and dependable. It is however, very well taken care of. I use only fully synthetic oil, usually Penzoil or Quaker State. Air filter and PCV are changed out every 50,000kms. Spark plugs were replaced at 100,000, then again at 200,000 and they will be replaced soon at 300,000kms. I also have the transmission fluid flushed + filter and gasket replaced every 100,000kms and it's still going strong on the original transmission!
It takes about a week to get used to the Ford Sync system. After you get used to what all the voice commands are and have all your presets set/tuned, it's wonderful. I have a 2014 Limited and a 2015 SHO and they are the best cars I have owned.
Once you sit in one you'll feel differently. It is one of the most comfortable cars I've ever been in. When I sat in one at a dealership I said to myself "Finally GM has designed a winner after 30 years." Then my friend bought one and I drove it and I was proven correct. The car is not only comfortable to sit in but has a beautiful ride and very nice handling and braking. America has finally turned a corner.
I like the looks just think the interior is just..... Well designed weird especially that chrome strip that runs across the dash but yeah you is right about the ride quality and handling. Out of the 3 I probably still pick the impala as the Chrysler 300's interior is boring and the Ford Taurus is older and cheaper.
VTEC kick in Looks-wise, you have a point. But the 300's dash is not high quality in real life. It squeaks, feels cheap, and doesn't fit the way you'd expect in a $40k vehicle.
I love my 2016 Taurus. It's just the right size , drives and rides great, quiet. I drove the Impala and found it a bit to big for me and just overall I didn't care for it. I also drove the Chrysler and hated the interior. It just fekt cheap and given their terrible reliability I choose the Taurus.
@@cedricmiller4370 It's hard to tell since I didn't push them. These are cruiser cars, not made for speed but for a great ride. The Impala seemed a little to big for me with cheaper interior. The second I sat in the Taurus I had that "this is it" feeling. Comfortable, great ride, and just the right size of not too big but roomy.
@@mohlachi I liked the Taurus better but I would say don't get the awd. Fords awd has some issues and when it goes it often messes up the transmission. When shopping for our 2018 MKX we noticed that all the ones with awd were $2-3k cheaper because of that.
the Impala looks American, the 300 looks English/German, the Taurus looks Japanese/Korean not European. I do wish that the Impala was RWD but it is still my favorite of the three but the one European looking car would be the 300 with the hints of Roles Royce and Bentley :)
The Ford Bore-us looks out of place here; a better comparison would have been with the refined illusion of the Ford Fusion. Some may call the interior of the 300 spartan, but at least it lacks the smear of gaudy greece from models past. You'll feel like an Impala shot-calla in Chevy's new ride, and your blind aunt'll think you bought a Camero. Just don't try to do a burnout in the parking lot.
Yindé iroll I think they're all better cars than they were five years ago. The 300 is now pretty much the closest thing America has to a Bentley (besides maybe the Continental). All I'm saying is the badge placement leaves much to be desired.
+UsernameUser 5 years ago (2010) is when the current gen Taurus made it's debut, so no they are not better then they were five years ago. They are making a new gen Taurus for 2016 though.
How’s it holding up 2 years later bro? I’m about to buy either a newer impala or Chrysler but I hear Chrysler’s aren’t as reliable. But in my opinion the Chrysler is way cleaner
@@Bnososa Literally the same. Regular oil changes and tire rotation and not a single problem. And yes, the chrysler is wayyyy cleaner and drives like a cloud.
Toyotas have been disappointments for the last decade. Maybe that’s why you’re seeing more fleet sales and bolder styling and bottom of the barrel financing and leasing? GM on the other hand has done an amazing job over the last ten years. The Impala has consistently out scored the Camry and Avalon on JD Power.
A front engined FWD car is better than a front engined RWD car in wet/slippery conditions. The weight of the engine pushing down on the drive wheels gives you better grip the the rain/snow.

That ford comes in AWD as well.
He stated that in the vid.
Jonte Mcbride the impala doesn't come in AWD. all the other cars offer AWD
i know u piece a shit
i never said you fucking idiot. have you even heard of esl
Impala and 300 for sure. Ford has some work to do with their taurus. Needs a refresh.
The wieners Circle Chicago they had no idea cuz it was just doing
R P The 911 and there is a bunch with lots of configurations. The Porsche is an icon style and they have left the winning body style alone

Totally agree I have a 2014 it’s awesome
I'd go with the impala
I like the greater kudu but the springbok is pretty cool too. What one of those do you like more? I think the greater kudu could get up to 60 faster.
My money would go to the Impala.
The problem with the steering wheel on the Impala is that it looks like it was modeled after E.T.'s face.
lol, i see it. good comparison.
In love with this Impala’s stitching
I'm stuck between the Impala and the Taurus. Love 'em both.. 🤷♂️
Tommy Ven Detta which way did you go? I have an opportunity to buy a 2013 Taurus limited(no awd) dirt cheap and in good condition. Ive don’t have the opportunity to choose between the 3 lol, just want to know if you got the Taurus and if you like it.
2017 Taurus Limited AWD or 2016 Impala LTZ?? I'm torn between the two and I'm supposed to make a decision in 8 hrs!!
@@mohlachi Did you make your decision
The Taurus does have good steering feel and it does have moderate acceleration, I'd love my '15 SEL back.
so do the other cars..(impala is faster, 300 is too due to 8 speed)
@@roboticvenom1935 well considering the impala is the highest trim level, the taurus sho would be apples to apples considering they’re the highest trim level

IMPALA for the WIN 💯👌❤
More than half the video was about the impala. I thought this was a Chrysler funded video? I wanted to hear more about the 300
I'm in love with the new impalas. I would pick that one.
I Have A Impala ❤️
Chevy Impala looks amazing. The interior of the 300 is still CHEAP plastic, the Taurus is just an ugly looking car.
Clay Martin
The soft touch is nice but I'd like to murder the guy who decided the texture of the dash on the 300, you can scrub and scrub at is and it seems like you never get everything out of the nooks. But yeah, everyone that's ever gotten into my car has complemented how nice it is on the inside.
Michael Davis that's true. Jeep has done that stuff too. Luckily they're doing leather/soft touch instead of that weird plastic texture stuff. Lol
That was a big mistake.
The grand Cherokee is soooo nice. Every time I see one I get jelly. Test drove one last year. I like the way it wraps you in. I'm at a cross road right now though. I'm either going to trade in my 2012 300 and get the he I or super charging my v6 for a nice sleeper. Torn lol
*hemi
those 2 arent even in the same league as the chrysler.
Chrysler competes with cadiilacs and lincolns. A v6 charger wouldve been a better option and review.
Chrysler has gone downmarket... It no longer competes in the luxury class.
Durk Dockman Lincoln isn't anymore luxury than Chrysler. Cadillac is still fighting for it but it hasn't been doing as well as they should to be considered luxury.
*****
I agree, Lincoln is more on the level of near luxury like Buick. Cadillac has true luxury products, just not the brand image.
Durk Dockman Yeah that's how GM has been trying to redefine their brands but Buick is faltering and Caddy probably won't get anywhere until their flagship big boy sedan is in production.
*****
Buick is doing quite well sales-wise. Buick's products are becoming quite dated though. And since their products are all quite old they are also a big cash cow(like trucks).
I'll take the 300 all day long. Would never change.
Why? the Ford Taurus and the Impala are better
seriously its disgusting to me how people do see that the Chrysler is the cream of the crop but believe all their ford and chevy butt buddies and can't honestly think for themselves
300c All the way!!!!!
Ha ha, figured you for a faceless troll.
Love the impala 10/10 but I love the feel and weight of the 300. I feel as if I’m in a rolls Royce because the car is heavy. I never drove a Taurus
High Five ✋🏻 Impala 🔥
Man the 300 los awesome
The Taurus is from 2010, the 300 has been getting update after update without a totally new vehicle since 2005, and the Impala was a totally new design for 2015.
Wrong that Taurus is no older than 2013 because of the newer face and body styling
You don't have to get sho to get awd. Ford is a winner in my eyes.
NO DOUBT, THE FORD TAURUS IT'S THE BEST
Great video. Go Chrysler, go HEMI, go AWD!!
Aussie Four Wheelers p
Aussie Four Wheelers do you know that Chrysler has horrible transmission
Fiat piece of crap
@@BW-fz5kf Actually the 8 speed ZF transmission Chrysler designed when they still owned Benz is actually one of the smoothest most reliable transmissions you can buy today. The old first generation 300 has the old 5 speed transmission that was the bad transmission.
The 8 speed ZF transmission normally lasts well over 150k miles before having any issues and is able to withstand up to 900HP. Out of these 3 vehicles 2015 and up id put my money on the Chryslers transmission lasting the longest.
Why did he use the 300 with the hemi why not use the v6 in that case he should you the ss just saying
We test what they send us. We would have preferred the HEMi but you can't get that in AWD anymore and in Colorado we get AWD cars to test.
+Esly Lopez The V8 HEMI runs on 4 cylinders on the highway so it gets the same Highway as the V6, 31MPG. "For a few dollars more."
0
+Esly Lopez If they would have brought the SS then they should have brought the SRT8 version of the 300.
+Carl Stallins No offense, but I dont think anyone who is looking at these brand new cars will care about that considering the warranties. All three of those cars have a 5 year, 60,000 mile power train warranty.
I see what you did there, the red, white and blue American made cars
***** I see what you mean, but i think he means cars from American companies
***** People get so wound up about American cars not being made in America. The Mercedes C, GL, M and R class' are assembled in Alabama so I guess by his logic Mercedes is now an American brand, haha
Brett Morrison Cars are built in the US because of the availability of cheap labour.
***** At it again I see... you lost, take a hike.
I've driven RWD on winter roads for years and didn't spin out. Training is the key!
Lay down on your stomach and try to pull yourself with your arms, pretty easy right? Then try to push yourself with your feet. Since the majority of cars are front engine it makes sense for front wheel drive. Unless you want to make some real power then that concept is out of the window.
Dillan pridgen I sincerely hope you are taking the piss !!!!
MrKeyboardCommando I have no idea what you mean by that, Im just talking like that because majority of people don't know anything about cars.
Dillan pridgen What you're writing indicates you don't know anything about the human body. Try walking on your hands.
You can get the Taurus with awd in SEL trim and up.
Lol
Chrysler is trying to define each of their brands into what they are known for or what they want them to be known for. Haha
There's no possible way you've driven the 300 with a hemi/8-speed combo. Not unless you have a press pass.
Kyle Coffey are you talking to OP or me?
If you're gunna compare these 3 you gotta compare the Mustang, Camaro and Charger.
u mean challenger which they do
Charger has 4 doors, disqualified
Roman you're missing the 2015 Charger. That car looks sweet!
Sounds like a good comparison to me. Isn't a Charger with a V-8 about the same price as a 300 with a V-6?
goatmonkey2112 No. The 300 Starting price is Higher than the Charger though.
Erik Jamin new charger has 3.6 engine not 3.5
I love how these very decent large sedans drop in price. 10k-15k can get you a good used version of any of these. Although... I hate fwd.
Oh you mean the new Alpha Romeo? Yeah check again, Chrysler was bought out by FIAT, an Italian car company. Have fun driving your Italian car :).
Impalas steering wheel is the ugliest thing ever.
Something out of a 2000s Mercedes..
***** right.

Nick Olsen why they didn’t just put the cruze wheel
Why can't these guys just accept that fwd is better and more useful for 95% of people?
WarmSoftKitty Plain and simple, not all of us live in California. RWD cars suck in bad weather. They basically don't even sell RWD cars in Canada in various cold weather climates because of this.
WarmSoftKitty Wow you sure do sound butthurt over nothing. Winter snow tires help sure but they don't fix everything.
The Ford Taurus SHO packs 365 horsepower, yet it costs around as much as an Impala 2LTZ.
***** But the Dodge Charger Hellcat would rape the SHO.
***** I would love to have one as well.
+Richard Jordan The charger hellcat costs around 65k and the Taurus SHO costs around 40k so if you put 25k into the taurus it would rape the charger
What's up with that stupid grill on the Impala?!!

That grill on the Impala looks like it was borrowed from a Powerwheels or Transformer.
DATDesign Chevy paid big money to have their cars featured in that 2hr chevy commercial known as 'Transformers'. It worked to boost Camaro sales big time, now they're trying to squeeze every bit they can from the movie.
That grill is a radar for the Adaptive Cruise Control with Crash Imminent Braking system. it comes on the very top of the line LTZ - the top top LTZ.

Do you guys really need to play the blaring rock music? just chill, its a video about 3 full size sedans its not that fucking exciting.
10:39 you get a paint job on the Chrysler?

I have the 3.6 Pentastar in my 2015 Caravan and I love it! She's got almost 300,000kms and I've never had a single issue with it. 100% reliable and dependable. It is however, very well taken care of. I use only fully synthetic oil, usually Penzoil or Quaker State. Air filter and PCV are changed out every 50,000kms. Spark plugs were replaced at 100,000, then again at 200,000 and they will be replaced soon at 300,000kms. I also have the transmission fluid flushed + filter and gasket replaced every 100,000kms and it's still going strong on the original transmission!
the Taurus is the most beautiful - i love the body style! (and the interior is classy too)
that's okay - I don't really care. They can have their opinions we can have ours also!!!
And the horrible connector on the center mirror it's part of the finest ford design 🤔

It takes about a week to get used to the Ford Sync system. After you get used to what all the voice commands are and have all your presets set/tuned, it's wonderful. I have a 2014 Limited and a 2015 SHO and they are the best cars I have owned.
Impala hands down
That 3.6 in the impala is no slouch
Agreed. I was surprised.
That Impala is a beautiful thing.
Really enjoyed the video. 💛
I just hate the impala's interior, it looks cheap and tacky to me.
Random Videos Vtec doesn't kick in til January.
VTEC kick in
That black with red trim is probably the worst looking one too. I like the beige leather.
But does your 2016 taurus feel faster than the impala you test drove?
@@cedricmiller4370 It's hard to tell since I didn't push them. These are cruiser cars, not made for speed but for a great ride. The Impala seemed a little to big for me with cheaper interior. The second I sat in the Taurus I had that "this is it" feeling. Comfortable, great ride, and just the right size of not too big but roomy.
I'm torn between a 2017 Taurus Limited AWD or a 2016 Impala LTZ
@@mohlachi I liked the Taurus better but I would say don't get the awd. Fords awd has some issues and when it goes it often messes up the transmission. When shopping for our 2018 MKX we noticed that all the ones with awd were $2-3k cheaper because of that.
the Impala looks American, the 300 looks English/German, the Taurus looks Japanese/Korean not European. I do wish that the Impala was RWD but it is still my favorite of the three but the one European looking car would be the 300 with the hints of Roles Royce and Bentley :)
My Dad got the 300 a few weeks ago. It's a pretty good car, we've been enjoying it a lot.
Good for you! What model is it?
The Ford Bore-us looks out of place here; a better comparison would have been with the refined illusion of the Ford Fusion.
Some may call the interior of the 300 spartan, but at least it lacks the smear of gaudy greece from models past.
You'll feel like an Impala shot-calla in Chevy's new ride, and your blind aunt'll think you bought a Camero. Just don't try to do a burnout in the parking lot.
i like the 300
Yindé iroll I think they're all better cars than they were five years ago.
***** I don't work in fast food, you do. Stop projecting
I would go for the Ford Taurus
dodge are the biggest lemons ever I own one trust me money pits
Right. In 2012 I had a 08' charger that costed me about $5000 in repairs in two years. The motor finally locked up with 116k miles on it. Pathetic.
Got a 300s myself, definitely wouldn't trade for either of the other two.
J_ blue92 thanks for replying bro 💯 I’m honestly probably going with the Chrysler too
@@Bnososa Honestly probably couldn't go wrong with either but the chrysler is just a boss ass car man. And drives better then most I've driven.
Just saying the Taurus is also AWD **
4:09: Toyota Camry pulls up like heyya how reliable can you be?🤣🤣🤣
Toyotas have been disappointments for the last decade.
Maybe that’s why you’re seeing more fleet sales and bolder styling and bottom of the barrel financing and leasing?
GM on the other hand has done an amazing job over the last ten years. The Impala has consistently out scored the Camry and Avalon on JD Power.
I love my 2014 chevy impala ❤️
A front engined FWD car is better than a front engined RWD car in wet/slippery conditions. The weight of the engine pushing down on the drive wheels gives you better grip the the rain/snow.
Chrysler 300 is the best
Nice job, on this one guys 👍
