    I had a 2010 and 2013 SHO. They will be collectors in the future I think. I meticulously maintained both, the 2013 had left turbo go out on 74k miles. Having to change the PTU fluid etc. Fun car, but wouldn't have one as my daily. Massaging seat and cooling seats were nice. Traded in for a 2018 Genesis G80 Sport which was way better and more reliable. Now I have a 2023 Frontier Pro 4x and a 2000 Buick Lesabre.

      Why’d you get rid of yours?

      @Blue-moon12 6 месяцев назад +1

      @TheHungryRoad Well the 2010 started to rust at the bottom of the boot lid and needed replacing, poor workmanship of the early models. As for the 2013 (still have videos of it on my channel) when the turbo went I'd had enough. Was looking at around $2k CAD. Loves the car, but I was then done with Ford.

      So u say a sho not one of ya daily drive but went n got a 2018 g80 sport lmao, sounds like maintenance was the problem n u probably being cheap so u tell yourself "I'll just get a g80 sport, it's more reliable" lmao.. you'll have maintenance on all cars n I know for a fact a g80 is more in maintenance compared to a sho. Problem is ppl w a sho r cheap when it comes to maintaining maintenance work so they convinced themselves by getting something better n thinking that's more reliable. Lmao 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

    Got to replace stabilizer bar links and good quality struts. Always use dealership OE thermostat and dealer antifreeze. Small potato maintenance with the wheel bearings. You might want consider leasing. All fluids need to be dealership fluids except for synthetic oil and brake fluid.

    Great review, just like the one you did three years ago. I watched them both one after the other because right now, I'm in the process of buying a 2015 SHO PP with around 104k miles on it.
    Yeah, the selling price is rather decent for its age (around 14k$). However, being in Europe, that's a real challenge/issue since there are very few true American cars around here (for obvious reasons like huge taxes and import fees, and also lack of spare parts readily available like in the US).
    Surely I want the car, and I can already relate to your story of being your first car in many regards, with all the extras it had for you, and would have for me as well. My main concern would be the maintenance issues that I saw in many videos about this model. Congrats on your ownership of this car, and best of luck with the new one. 👍

      Thank you for being a long time supporter! Good luck with your new purchase! See if you can talk them down on that price though. That’s high for having do many miles on it.

    • @robthagodok5965
      @robthagodok5965 3 месяца назад

      @TheHungryRoad i guess. Thing is the consoles have different hardware in different generations. So maybe he just updated past his consoles processing capabilities and it made it slow. But i googled the 2019 SHO displays and they have the square boxes for the colors like my 2016, and they dont have that goofy ford emblem in the background the entire time. I think he did an aftermarket update

      I have no idea. I had a problem with the OEM struts and they were replaced with more OEM struts that gave me a similar issue. I’d look into the aftermarket segment to see what’s available.

    And why were your colors bubbls when the taurus doesnt have that? You must have uodated your console or sync in that because that is not stock programming, and thats why ur screen runs like shit

    • @TheHungryRoad
      @TheHungryRoad  3 месяца назад

      Lol. I did nothing of the sort sir. This is how I bought the car in 2021. Color bubbles? You mean the ambient lighting?

    • @robthagodok5965
      @robthagodok5965 3 месяца назад +1

      @TheHungryRoad yea my ambient lighting is not bubbles its squares. And i googled the 2019 sho and it also had squares. I already found out how it got like that. Theres a qebsite u can put aftermarket ford Sync versions on there and thats one of the options. U may not have but that is not stock and thats why your screen was laggy. Fordlabs does it they can give u custom skins. Mine is a 2017 limited fully loaded. So i know for a fact that old sho doesnt come stock with a more current version of sync. So i did research and fordlabs does it. Thats why u had issues, it was not stock and it was updated past the hardware specs. My screen is super fast my map is loaded before the screen switches to it. The moment i touch my screen it changes and loads. But mine is factory. Yours has been modified
