A whole lot has changed at Schneider in Dallas Texas. The hotel was horrible and the breakfast was next to nothing. Cereal. After class each day the shuttle brought us to hotel and that was it. No Walmart no store nothing. Driver services desk has the worst attitude ever, and don't ask " Roosevelt" anything. Dude talks to you like you're in high school. Because of all this, I won't be there much longer.
Its something that irritates me with the fact they are checking our rooms and all that ... I'm big on privacy and it's just not really sitting right with me ... I start Monday and I am REALLY REALLY reconsidering and finding a local driving job fr

Great video but my question is about the 10 basic rule test is that something we’re shown in class or read b4 the test? Good luck on your journey I’m going to Indy in march
Yes....So that is basically you signing off that you understand the policy and procedures. Any test they give you will be easy. All are open book test out if you retain the info and actually pay attention you will be fine. Good Luck and I wish you well on your journey as well.
Thanks for the heads up bro. I like having a drink or two in my hotel room before bed, along with a cigar. That's when I'm on vacation tho. My CAT program is coming up soon. Goin' to Charlotte for mines. I'm actually learning as much as I can about hours of service right now now so I can maximize it. And not to be a dick or anything, it's proprietary...haha
If you have a class A license skip that part just take that and your ssn for proof of work. If you only have a class b or lower when you go to the bmv and pass your written test they will issue a permit to carry in addition to your licenses
I just got my CLP-A today. I applied for the dedicated flatbed under schieder since it was one of the two options they have for me in my zip code and having no experience, I am regretting setting up a interview with them. I am excited to get hired and work, but after watching many negative videos about them I’m not sure if I should. I think they could fire me for sneezing the wrong way. What are your thoughts?
@@Ogcaree hey. I am working full time for Home Depot as a Schnider driver. We locally deliver to peoples homes and businesses. Are trucks are 37 feet long and we use straight trucks plus the moffett which is a forklift that was designed to go on difficult terrain. I am happy I choose this account because it’s very challenging and hard. It’s rewarding, I love it. However I am doing around 60-70 hours per week which is stressful. I’m getting about $1,000 per week. They advertise gross pay only or a false number for you to sign up. They don’t pay you as you deserve for your hard work. For the most part training is Monday through Friday depending on what happens during the week your trainer may add a weekend day but it’s usually half a day.
@@jaxxyandfriends108 I will post a video here in about a week or so when I’m done with training. As far as pay it’s account specific and is listed on the website for review
Great breakdown bro
How are you doing with your training and truck driver journey? Will you continue your channel along with it?
Thank you .. I’m going to that school next month hopefully everything will be good ..
