Love this! Amazing what kind of emotion you can portray with photo cut-outs, basic keyframing, effects, film scratch overlays and some light flares. Your asset selection, compositions, pacing and even the angle of your rotation sequences for some of these assets shows that this came from the heart. Visually communicating more abstract mindsets and capturing the emotional nuances of a song is not something a lot of people can do. There's also never a static moment here and I am noticing all these little details that often go unnoticed. Those are the things people FEEL and often what makes something the most impactful. Anyways: inspired and stoked to see more. :)
I love this piece of art. It's really buitifully done. I got ispired to do something like this as an intro of my video game that I am currently writing a story for. And, of course, love Ryan forever ❤ This song is one of my favourites and surely one of the most uplifting ones from Low Roar. Thank you for your art, keep on keeping on!
Thanks, man. It really means a lot. Absolutely, his music has been a muse for almost everything I create. I like to hope he's somewhere out there still singing his songs, a vacant hole will remain that way for life.🕊️ Keep on keeping on!
@@fakeplastictree1553 I felt that too. I often feel like he is somewhere around. Carrying us through our dark hours just the same as we carry the memory of him in our art. He is now our lovely ghost captain.

Hi, love this video! Just wondering what your set up was for making it? I'm really keen to give this medium a go myself (on a budget haha). Like did you have a light box/fixed camera etc etc? x
I like this, this is what i was searching for, didn't know what it was called, just saw some youtube videos doing that so i knew i have to learn it, i am still just starting, any tips or apps that you use in your workflow would be really helpful, thankyou
how did you get the buildings to appear in three separate pieces like that? the scene just after the titles, about 0:07 - great video by the way inspired me to make my own :)
You are obv way too humble to see how iconic this piece of work is. Man, i really wanna ask abt your journey... How long have ypu been doing this? Did you come directly to after effects or were u using easier apps before? Actually i really want to be as good in video editing as someone like you.. but i am not even a beginner and dont know where to start. Would appreciate the help. Thanks. Great work!😊
Thanks, Aishwary. It means a lot. I've been into art since forever, but I recently started developing a love for collages. I've used DaVinci and Filmora before, but if you're just starting out, I would recommend going with Adobe right from the beginning because you'll inevitably end up using it. Plus, you'll find millions of tutorials and resources for this app
I am a video and animation designer, and just a word of advice; start in art and design foundational training. It isn’t about video programs, but composition, color, communication, typography, and all of those other design and art aspects
This can be done multiple ways, easy ones are take vid of birds flying, add posterize time and set the frame rate to 2, then animate the mask paths. Or secondly you could just take screenshots of bird flap up and down and then animate it manually. Hope this helps🌻
Hi Man, I am creating my own youtube channel and this is one of the videos that really motivated me 6 months ago to start a channel. If i may, can i use this as my intro video for my channel ?
its lovely! i wish to be able to do something similar as well. a lot of the images have a solid white background color but is that really the case? they look very similar in quality like its all from one resource, how did you do it? i want to preserve in my work that it looks imperfectly cut out along its edges. i hope you have the time to answer! thanks.
Thanks! Regarding the similar quality, I usually look for assets with a similar style, and using a single color correction does the trick. I personally also like the imperfect cuts; they resonate much like real life. To achieve this effect, you can manually select masking. Hope this helps 🎈
wow really liked this piece of art. i was wondering how do u make this things and did u study motion graphics before? or is it just pure ur knowledge like i really wanna know whats your background?

Thanks, if you are doing it professionally or making money out of it, always ask for permission. Try using copyright free images mostly. It's okay if you are using it for personal or practice use but try to put your value into it rather than placing it plainly and publishing it. Hope it helps:) 🎈
