  • Today we're checking out some awesome 3D audio powered by the Hooke Verse (from Hooke Audio).
    Hooke Verse - amzn.to/3iAHD20
The Hooke Verse is an unusual combination of headphone and 3D audio recorder. This allows you to create immersive binaural recordings straight to you smartphone (recorded here on an Iphone XS Max).
Make sure you're wearing HEADPHONES for this one :)
Here's some shortcuts to the binaural examples recorded on the Hooke Verse:

Plans for creating this channel had been kicking around for a while and it was at the end of 2018 / 2019 that I finally got the ball rolling.
I'd like to tip my beanie to all of these channels for providing me with endless hours of youtubing while also being a (hugh-mungus) source of inspiration!

Super polished video dude and the tests worked out great sounding. Why do you keep looking up over the camera though? Your outdoor shots are beautiful.

Saw them on Kickstarter yeaaaaars ago. I got them in my hands 2 years ago so it’s been a fair while lol. I used to back heaps of stuff but not so much nowadays.
You liking the outside scenes of Sydney, Aus here 😎. I was previously filming on a canon 7d and then a canon eos m. Your T2I should be able to pull some very capable footage 🤙🤙🤙

Fenix Tech I’m freaking trying the first video I used for it I had the ISO up to 3200 and I color corrected it and it looked like crap. So this latest video I added another light to my shot and got the ISO down to 800 and white balanced it with a custom balance instead of auto and I think it looks waaaay better.

@@Shmojoe143200, only madmen live close to the extreme :)
I've gone through various stages of madness trying to fix some "non white balanced" footage. I try my best to remember to use a grey card now (super cheap off amazon). But yeah davinci resolve is awesome, I might chuck up a quick tutorial of my workflow. I'm no expert but I know how to get out of some binds haha.
My new camera Fuji X-T3 can record 4k60fps in 10bit 4:2:0 which is crazy good. I actually use worse quality footage (I say worse but its still 1080, 50fps --> 25fps). I'm filming lower on purpose because trying to pull off a higher production means that any imperfections were super noticable... but if I smash the quality down a bit, things here and there are forgiving :) So yeah bit of 1600/3200 ISO here and there is fine, especially at this stage of the game.
