A perfect example is BLUE GENE BLUES. Billy's guitar work is probably one of his very best. You have not done them justice until you react to that.

This was from ZZ Top's more commercial phase. Though they had hits before this the earlier stuff had more of a straight up blues feel while the Eliminator stuff was more pop-rock, with some tasty stuff thrown in by the Honorable Reverend Gibbons of course.
