ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

It's been proven that being marblized isn't the end for Janets, they can be brought back if the marble isn't destroyed. Janet was marblized by Bad Janet in this season and then brought back to the bad place to be tortured.

Exactly. I didn't understand why Michael said it like it was a revelation, because he already saw it at the IHOP. Now I understand, Michael knew Chidi was different because he acted far more cool after seeing it this time. I guess it was used as a plot device to tell us that other characters noticed the change in Chidi too. You're clever for picking that up!

The description of the Time Knife & what happened to Chidi are similar, I always thought there was more meaning. "A thousand different versions of himself were fused and placed into a single conciousness" & "a trillion different realities folding onto each other like thin sheets of metal forming a single blade."

It's funny how for a moment he went back to his torturing self, ready to be happy that Chidi saw the time knife and suffered. Old habits die hard.
It's a look of honest glee. His friend finally truly understands something he's known for aeons. We all have that bloom of joy when one of the people we love *gets* something we've known for a while - it's why Michael is so fantastically human.

Well, last time Chidi saw the Time Knife he melted down. He expected the same. When that didn't happen, note how his expression changes - from jocular in the face of certain defeat to thoughtful contemplation that they just might have a shot at winning this.
I am so sad that this show is ending at season 4. 😭 On the bright side, I can’t wait for Kristen’s next TV project (hopefully, there is!)
Alyanna Mangahas yes! She’s one of the best actresses ever. Even though Veronica Mars Season 4 was a little disappointing, I’d still watch it with Kristen in. She’s too good.

Some say that some good tv shows go downhill when they overstay their welcome. However, I wouldn't mind another season or two, even at 90% and 80% respectfully.
Totally agree. At 80% this show would be better than 95% of the shows currently on television (I think that makes sense!).

honeslty with this amount of sudden confidence I kind of want an alternate season where chidi is evil, takes over, manages to obtain the power of the judge, and creates a new planet full of humans where everyone acts super ethically all the time because there is no other option.
Now here's Eleanor to use what she learned from Chidi to explain to him why it's effectively meaningless as "good" actions.

I don’t think its actually chidi... sounds weird but he was way toooo confident, especially when the whole of humanity is about to end.
To chidi he's lived like 100k years. For a human thats a ridiculous amount of time and he's perfectly sure pf his actions since he knows they dont really matter. If he dies its whatever.
