When I and the wife took our bikes to Mongolia we figured that there are two ways to cross streams, rivers, watercrossings...... If in any doubt always walk across first. And then either go fast or take it very easy. We always dropped the bikes when going somewhere in between fast or very slow...... 🤣😂

Love that you named the 901. I name all my bikes. I just returned from 2 weeks on a rental BMW F900XR in the Balkans. I named her Ndrita which is Albanian for twinkle and shine. She did both on our time together.
You are doing great , I love the 360-view panio off of back and to landscape that was really cool. Your riding is getting better, follow her just a little faster and more stable. You are so cool !!!!! Best part of camping , story's around the campfire. We love you so much.

You hard suite cases are go, if you fall you will not get trap under your bike i love your style very cool , very intelligent , and you ride with other bikers. You are special you found you nich. I had Kawasaki KDX 200 very light and I rode with cousin Bob. You want an adventure, ride in an enduro side in the woods. I am sure Norly is Josles of long beautiful legs.

Nice Runa....there is nothing better than camping next to a running stream! There was also Kumara (sweet potato) in the meal, we often just wash them and use the skins as well, as all the goodness is in there. 😎✌
All caught up now, Runa. This came out when I was on my trip to Eastern Canada. Nice episode as always, and it's nice to see Kinga on, too. After your participation in the dirt bike rally as well as that winter riding you did you shouldn't doubt your riding abilities. You're a champ. Still good to be cautious. Happy riding. Cheers
Thing I find helpful is feathering the clutch and keeping your revs high, because the last thing you want is to stall in the middle of a river crossing, try it and see how you go.

Those river crossing looked a little scary. There’s probably a lot of good technics to do it.
But one thing that’s so impressive with you is that when you see a problem you improvise and solve it, regardless it’s a river crossing or a flat tire 😊
They were! But being a little bit scared sometimes is good, that's also part of learning! 😊

Nice stream/river crossing 👍Those round rolly stones looked just a little too big to mess with 🤔..but others seemed ok. Nice mountains in good company😊
Details like stone size, uphill/downhill always flatten out so much on the action camera footage - the ones on the biggest crossings were big indeed! For my skill level atleast 😊 Great experience to have done it though.

At the third river crossing I first thought "C'mon girl, just ride, you can do it, it's barely ankle-deep".
But then reason hit my mind:
you checked by foot first
only you know how slippery the stones were
you know your abilities
and you travel solo
and I'm riding a 701 and not a 901.
So a perfect example for taking the choice with the smallest risk. Everybody should be that cautious in my opinion!

This is why I will get a KLX300 when I come ride NZ. That Norden is way overkill for NZ.
Inspired by this video I decided to fly from Brazil to visit my son in Australia, ride together there for some time (he’s a working man), and then take a ferry to NZ with my Norden and ride along the South Island which I haven’t been yet.

Love how you were so nervous about the that first shallow stream crossing, sitting on the bike wondering what was going to happen and then walking it. But by the next one you were standing on the pegs, steady throttle, then power out at the end. You're such a courageous quick learner Runa. Beautiful background music again. We run ADV courses & take participants slong the Rainbow rd, your camp spot is where we usually stop for lunch.
That bigger creek crossing ( 6 Mile ) gives most people some sort of problems, I was shouting at my phone 'don't take the r/h side', there is a deep hole there.
Oh that's so cool! What a perfect road to learn on, with so many different little challenges 😃 Hahah glad I made it across the river without getting stuck in a hole!

If you rode that track now, you would see snow on the mountains. Next month (July) is the usually the worst month of Winter.

Thank you 😃 On this trip I used the DJI Osmo Action 3, and the DJI MIC. I did have some audio issues though. I first though the mic was the problem, but turns out it is most likely due to a defect in the USB port of the camera. They are now on their way to DJI for a check up 😊
