    Lim is one of those pianists, for whom one has to hold back breathing to not to miss a note from his captivating performance. Very unique, no wonder Martha enjoys listening to him. A bright future is waiting for this young man.

    OK since you insisted I read a few more posts, I read them and I saw the retraction you made, but the only post that showed up on the front page was the one I responded to. so that's the one you should expect to get a response to. But the fact that you made that initial comment at all says something.

    @deerodchan you don't differenciate people by the prize they got. maybe the year dong participated, the standard could be high, and the winner, could be better than yundi or vice versa, furthermore, the judges are marking on their own opinion so you can't say much who is the best.

  • @drh237
    @drh237 16 лет назад +1

    However, lookin back at this video one extra time I see that the mom looks more tired than bored so whatever, I guess they filmed her at the wrong time... Doesn't that make you look at the cameraman with disgust and hate, LOL XD

  • @deerodchan
    @deerodchan 15 лет назад +1

    better than yundi l? who's the one that got first in the international chopin tournament.
    yundi li my friend.
    lim hyek dong 3rd place.

    First of all I hope your asian, second, you think his mom is gonna sit there smiling and loving it every second he plays? No parent in the world would do that if their professional-level child is just practicing for the millionth time.

    I don't really remember telling you to look through all of the comments on youtube... um... all you had to do was scroll down 2 inches, like any NORMAL person, and you would've seen that the argument was over... good luck with that reading thing

  • @trtnec
    @trtnec 15 лет назад +1

    lol, I don't look through all the comments on youtube videos all the time, most of the time I just glance below the video and see the top comments, like normal people. You don't understand why I hope you're asian? lol, maybe it's because if you are asian you actually HAVE asian parents and have been immersed in that culture enough to make an informed generalization, rather than just making generalizations based on what you've seen in movies, stereotypes, etc.

    well yundi li was very very inspired by chopins. maybe thats why he had the compassion to play chopins pieces at the very best.
    im not too sure about lim dong hyek. not sure who he is inspired by.

  • @drh237

    First of all I hope you can read, because this argument has already been solved 8 months ago... Second, why would you hope I'm Asian that makes no sense whatsoever.

  • @drh237

    Plenty of sleep? Did I say that I thought she was makin him slave around on the piano? No I didn't, I just said that her mom did not appreciate her sons playing for what it truly was. I mean for christs sake Martha Argerich looked more motherly and appreciative of the guys piano skills than his own mother, isn't that kind of sad , doesn't that make you look at the mother in disgust?

  • @drh237
    @drh237 16 лет назад

    im not really generalizing 70% of asian parents are like that; they force their child to learn an instrument/art and then when they get really good at it, they see it as their child's duty to be that good, it's not something to marvel at, and that makes me sick... and I doubt that this boys mom is any exception to that "generalization"

  • @deerodchan
    @deerodchan 15 лет назад

    well yundi li was the first winner in 15 years. that just shows you how hard to win the international chopin tournament.
    no disrespect to lim hyek dong but 1st is 1st and 3rd is 3rd.
